Hauling A Lexus Backwards Out Of Hells Revenge

  • We got a call for a GX470 on Hells Revenge with failed rear air suspension and no 4wd. We decided to take Ol Blue thinking we would just be pulling it out with a strap. Once we got there and seen the damage. The airbag had come out of its mount and damaged a brake line and severed the abs sensor wire. With the abs system not functioning the 4wd wouldn't engage. We moved it out from where it was parked and lifted it up to see all the damage. So we decided to carry it out backwards with Blue. We positioned the sling under the receiver hitch. Once rigged I had Mike in it to help with steering and additional braking on the steep hills. It all went pretty smooth. We carried it down to where the customer could get it to a shop for repairs. Thank you everyone for watching and supporting us.

Oh the irony of the "Air Down" license plate, and the airbag having problems so it's a little too close to the ground. 😂

Love the videos. Coming from someone who has done all kinds of recoveries for over 40 years I can really appreciate the hard work you guys do. Wondering what you do to keep the turbo 400 cool. we made real deep pans and put heater cores inside the trans pan with heater hoses hooked to them. The we also use a/c condenser coils for trans coolers in front of the rad. Hayden makes a severe duty clutch for the fan that moves a ton of air. I have even put smaller pullers on the water pump on a couple to speed the fan up. I like the mater and blue truck both. very good job. Ignore people who have not done this type of work. You do what you got to do as long as semi safe to save the day for the people you help. Many just do not understand that older simple rigs are the best to go explore with. I finally put a 6bt in my old f350 so I can get good mpg and have allot of torque. Keep the videos coming.
