      I'm not sure why I would. I have a older one and nobody makes the difference between a luxury smartwatch or a 100$ Ticwatch c2, btw about the MB it is running a closed & proprietary version of wearOS, worst of both worlds 😝 *to be fair wear OS 3 is way better than it was, my pixel watch LTE is starting to run like it should with updates, not sure about other mfg.

    Hi can you do a comparison between MB summit 3 and Tag Heuer connect latest version? Confused which one to buy

    Just a word from someone who had the Summit 2 + with the speaker and now the Summit 3 without the speaker. I had used the Summit 2+ maybe 3 times the whole time I owned it as a stand alone unit without my phone because I left my phone at home. The Summit 3 has bluetooth and allows you to make calls and answer calls without removing your phone from your pocket or bag depending on where you carry it. Most people these days are using some form of bluetooth headset especially in the intended segment target market for this watch. The watch is a very nicely made quality piece of hardware that has a upscale style. The only thing I would say is that Montblanc should have a future proof update model where current owners of their smart watches can update the internal interface of the watch at a reasonable cost. It's a luxury smart watch piece first before all the smart watch gimmicks.

    I have a couple smart watches and they do the job okay but they just aren’t proper time pieces I love the classic Analog watch

    Do the spheres rotate while the watch is running like the Geosphere?

    Unfortunately, the Summit 2+ I purchased in the United States suddenly fell off at the center of the back cover under normal wearing conditions two days ago.
    I thought it wasn't my thing, but luckily, I felt like the cover of some electronic product at the time, so I left it for now. When I got home and took off my watch, I saw that the LED on the back was not shining properly, and the entire chip and circuit were exposed. Only then did I realize that it was the back cover of the watch?
    Then, the function of heart rate detection failed and the LED remained on. Even if the watch was turned off, the LED remained on.
    The other functions of the watch are completely normal.
    Take it to the Montblanc store, and the clerk said, "There is no maintenance service for the smartwatch, including battery replacement!"!
    I thought it was because Summit 2+ was not listed in Taiwan, so there was no maintenance.
    The result is not, I asked carefully again, and this time it was very clear. The salesperson replied clearly: It is a Montblanc smartwatch, and it is confirmed that there is no longer maintenance service after sales!
    I asked other larger specialty stores again, and the salesperson also said that the smartwatch does not have repair services, but could you help me ask the original factory?
    Therefore, provide my watch information.
    The final response is:
    Montblanc's 3C products are not subject to maintenance~
    Within 2 years of warranty, if the product is damaged due to nonhuman factors, a replacement will be provided.
    My Summit 2+smart watch has been under warranty for two years since March this year. The original factory has provided a warranty exchange plan, and you can choose a different product or smartwatch
    (Non limited edition works)
    Purchase at a 30% discount, but old items need to be recycled (including all contents).
    However, if there is a problem with the battery after the warranty, is the same handling method used?
    I had the intention to upgrade to Summit 3 earlier, but this time I happened to encounter a 2+fault issue.
    The issue of the malfunction will not be discussed for the time being.
    We have heard about battery-related issues in 3C products, including battery life. Under normal use, lithium-ion batteries will experience a significant decline within 3-4 years.
    I asked the salesperson of the specialty store, and the salesperson stated that there was no service to replace the battery.
    I switched from OMEGA mechanical watches to Montblanc.
    If I cannot repair or replace the battery, I will no longer want to hold any of Montblanc's 3C products.
    In my personal opinion, a boutique factory advancing into the new generation of the technology product chain, this kind of performance It's a pity~
    Share this information to let you know~ 🥲

    Hey
    Just saw your review for Summit 3. I have was thinking to buy a new smart watch and have been confused between the tag e4 (45) and this? As you have used both which one do you suggest to go ahead with?

    • @GadgetsBoy
      @GadgetsBoy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ahh that’s such a difficult one. I reckon go with the brand you prefer as both are great. Only difference is you get wear os 3 on the Monblanc

    Truth to be told, A smart watch with that horrendous price is not justified a bit.. Yeah, you can use a smart watch to calculate our workout or even your sleeping habits. But when it comes to business or other activities that requires a decent dressup need a proper timepiece. A Hamilton, Seiko Pressage cocktail or Tudor is a great investment imo. They may last longer than you, if you take good care of them.

    hey man, first at all, thanks for the video :) my question is about the battery life... have you already tested it? how long does it last if you just use it as a watch and using not all apps but eg the heart rate scale? thanks in advance!

    • @GadgetsBoy
      @GadgetsBoy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for stopping by. If you don't have always on display on and infrequent notifications on, then it will last a day and say 5 hours comfortably as just a watch. if you start exercising with it then it won't last the day, you'd need to charge maybe while you shower after your work out

    • @FUINISFOOTBALL
      @FUINISFOOTBALL 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      See if you put the always on and use during the workout for an hr. The battery will die before the day ends?

    1k for this lack of basic features ofwireless charger and speaker with small battery? What a big shame with high price tag...

    • @joesmooth226
      @joesmooth226 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think with bluetooth you really don't need a speaker as most people are using earbuds these days. The lack of LTE which was in the Summit 2+ is the downside, but to be honest I only used the Summit 2+ as a stand alone phone maybe 4 times. I have the Summit 3 and don't really miss the speaker. I don't think there is a better quality built smartwatch out there. I also got a deployment watch band instead of the stock, puts it where it should be on the luxury level.

    It's not worth it. The battery life is horrible and just not worth the headache. Charging my watch every day seems like more of a chore. I'm trying to simplify my life, not complicate it. Refund
