- In this episode I spend Father’s Day with my little Buddy Mason starting at the site of an old schoolhouse. After a lack of signals and only one good find, we decided it was time to return to the site of the 1804 tavern that never fails to disappoint. When the heat of the day becomes unbearable we move into the shaded woods to dig in the dump again.

Mason uses a Nokta Legend metal detector
Jim uses a Minelab Equinox 600
We both use Garrett “carrot” pinpointers
Filming is done with the GoPro Hero 10
We both use P-Cord lanyards made by vetsdigbeeps and you can get one from:

Awesome hunting Mason and Jim! Nice find on the Canadian silver nickel! I probably would have thought trime at first too, being so small and thin. That iron knife was really cool! You have the parts I'm missing on the lead horseman! Found the same lead soldier, but the heads were missing. 😂 Really enjoyed the video! 👍🙋♀️🙋
Thanks so much Mike and Persis! We love finding those old lead soldiers!
Great hunt guys, Congrats Mason on the old Canadian Silver. Nice bottle dig also

Very excellent Hunt Mason and Jim. Mason the 1897 Canadian Fish Scale Congrats. Ive found an 1896 Holed one about 10 years ag. Really beat up. Yours is spectacular. Th e Buttons Marble Toy Soldier Spoon Knife excellent. Jim the Bottle Dumps you 2 come across I love it. Some of the Bottles you both find I've never seen before. Awesome. Stuff !! Killer silver !! Just to help you on marbles sizes
1/2 inch or less Peewee
9/16-5/8player size (5/8) is most common size, most spray paint are around 5/8

Thanks Colleen!🙂❤️
OMG! The Old Mr Bostons! Jason @quarterhoarder was obsessed with a cap to one of those he found in a recent video. It was funny. The whole bottle is much more interesting. I found one bottle dump so far from Mid1900s, And that other trash dump where I got the license plates and the hatchet head.
@@jaydigshistory36 so much fun digging through old dumps! Never know what you are going to find. Thanks for watching Jay!
Congrats on making some nice finds. I learned something new today. I always thought it was a steel ball bearing inside those spray paint cans. GL & HH.
@@marktompkinstreasurehunter4363 I’m glad we could spread some knowledge to you Mark. We love cutting open old spray cans and seeing what the marbles look like they are usually just the clear ones but sometimes you get a nice blue one.
Ooooohhhh this going to be a good one
(as always ) can’t wait
Thanks Johnny!🙂
