Correct me if I’m wrong: is having sex offender in nomadic situations where they constantly home and have no permanent housing MORE dangerous? This is actually a dumb ordinance.

There's people on the register for urinating in public, and that's the problem right There. Putting everyone In the same category, instead of looking at the circumstances. a 21year old having a relationship with a 16year old, isn't the same as a predator who attacks children, yet they will both have the same restrictions put on them

Instead of focusing on potential rehabilitation while they are incarcerated and released, you throw them on the street and continuously intimidate and harass them. The man whose daughter was molested by the nanny does not need to be in a position of authority over this. He is making every offender pay for the nanny's mistakes because he is running on his own emotion instead of reason.

Do you understand that evil people exist and sometimes there is no logic to their behavior and certainly no cure? They are simply wicked and perverse and they enjoy degradation and pain they inflict.
Rehabilitation has been tried. It doesn’t work with perverts. Swift execution of this scum is the best way to rid society of these cruel perverts. How many sociopaths just lie and manipulate their way through these programs only to get out and prey on kids again.

When someone is sexually assaulted the victim has to pay for that everyday for the rest of their lives. The one thing on this planet they own has been taken from them. They will never feel safe again. So the fact that these people are also paying for their crime for the rest of their lives makes complete sense. Sex offenders don't rarely feel remorse and if they do it's usually not enough to keep them from re-offending.

Interesting. Whilst I agree they are a victim of their own actions, I think the authorities should give them some land or at least give them an area so they’re not breaking rules unintentionally. Surely it’s better to have them all in one place then the police know where they are, the locals know where to avoid.
Or just lock them back up. Like is said, they are the victims of their own actions but it doesn’t seem fair that the rules keep changing and the goal posts keep moving when most of them have no intention of reoffending or breaking the terms. Just say, here’s your zone. Stay in that zone during curfew and leave them in peace if they’re not breaking the rules. Also if I was a parent I would rather know where to avoid rather than worrying who’s on the end of the street corner.

Think about it, no running water, no sanitation, all one of these guys has to do is board a bus or go anywhere in public, and thousands of people can be infected with typhus, cholera, bubonic plague, etc. If they are so dangerous that extra ordinances need to be passed, they should not have been let out of prison.

You want to pay for it? You do know most of them involve young adults having sex with teenagers right. Sometimes teenagers themselves. Example the youngest person placed on the registry was a 10 and 11 yr old. The 11 yr old is still on there at 40 under the same rules, lost his kids in a divorce cause of the list, didn't matter he did nothing since age 11. Think the punishment fits still? How bout the 15 yr old barred from college and having a life for sending a nude photo of himself? No reform eh? Or a mother 35 still being punished for having sex with a 15 year old at 19 and may possibly lose her kids as more restrictions get lumped on. Doesnt matter if your some dumb young adult banging a teen or a vicious monster hiding in the bushes waiting for 5 year old Bobby they're all labeled the same.

@@officialaccountability Banning sex offenders from pitching encampment tents in Miami-Dade county does work to keep sex offenders away from children, but sadly, these Miami-Dade anti-sex-offender decrees are still excessively punitive to these desperate people. And sadly, if you kick them out of the industrial zones into the Everglades--their last-ditch locations---there is a new danger - they can be bitten to death by alligators. If that happens, the county government could be sued for wrongful death by letting them die by those crocs, but with the recent undercurrent of extreme hatred on sex offenders (which I keenly know this anti-chomo hatred), looks like wrongful death lawsuits---if they happen--will be regarded as baseless and thrown out.

With these unaesthetic encampments, there are worries about bathroom waste from these sex offenders, which can lead to especially bacterial diseases like E. coli and even very dangerous necrotizing fasciitis on these offenders, and of course, the stench of their wastes can attract nasty insects and rodents--especially rats, which can themselves carry zoonotic diseases especially if these rats bite them and cause deadly rabies or even hantavirus. That is why there was that new decree that banned these sex offenders from making any more encampments in that county.

It seems that YOU have been responsible largely for this irrational treatment. It is insanity. These rules are NOT making society safer. You can theorize that they are, but the statistics tell otherwise. The recidivism rates of sexual offenders is LESS than other types of crime, especially the violent crimes eg. assault. The statistics PROVE that. It is a widespread false belief though, that they are the highest risk group. They are not. Especially the older, first time offenders, who had a single victim within their home. That particular category has a near ZERO percent recidivism rate. And yet some people irrationally feel safer living next to a murderer. It isn't fair to these former offenders who've paid their debts and should now be allowed to rejoin society. Why isn't society insisting on the violent criminals who have HIGHER rates of repeat offending than these guys, having to live away from their families, remote from other humans, etc? The Miami Dade 2500 ft rule is a classic example of passing a law without any scientific evidence WHATSOEVER as to efficacy, just so that the prosecutors and judges can appear "tough on crime." But it is hurting humans unfairly and is costing our society.

Indulge our emotions much? Victims can and do work through trauma of yesteryears. It's not easy and takes time but there's still hope. Would you want to stand by loved ones who've suffered trauma and allow them to keep sabotaging any chance of getting help to work through trauma? I'm not diminishing or taking away anyone's suffering but why would anyone want to live barely hanging on when Christ died to give us abundant life now? This is a terribly difficult issue because one can sympathise with both sides of the argument.
On an unrelated matter, I am yet again impressed by the articulacy of American people, men and women, black and white (I am in the UK). If this, and all other reports which I have viewed on TH-cam, have been edited to remove those who cannot express themselves, then I am sadly mistaken. However, this seems very unlikely.
Why, then, in a country where, for whatever reason, people seem to make such excellent use of English, does half the population (the female half) need to indulge in the irksome affectation of growling at the end of every sentence? This noise is no less annoying than the sound of a fingernail on a blackboard.
