Beautiful Connoisseur Variable Three Speed with Connoisseur uni pivot tonearm. This one's probably later than 1959 as it's a Type B with strobe. Rare enough in the UK they're exceptionally rare elsewhere. A competitor to the Garrard 301 and more expensive back in the day. I have one but it's a Type A.
