Before the disaster, Limansk was centered around a research facility and the city itself was built mostly to house the scientists' families who worked there. All that is known about their work is that it was codenamed Radiowave, but the purpose of the project is unknown now. The city also had a strange antenna array that towered over the other buildings. The antennas, combined with the mysterious headaches visitors to Limansk would experience, led some to speculate the Radiowave experiments were related to mind control. By the time we arrive there in Clear Sky, the city has been overrun with Monolith forces who are using it as a last line of defense to prevent Scar (you) from reaching the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant. After fighting your way through the city, you cut through a deserted hospital and are able to enter the plant directly. Maybe Limansk will be the way we also access the other DLC area people have speculated about, the CNPP itself. As for what we'll find there and what the signal is, I have no idea. It's possible that some unknown faction took control of the facility and reactivated or repurposed the antennas.
It's also possible they will do extra fan service and have the DLC centered about whatever went down through the CS push into the North. While I'm not sure, i find it highly likely that the DLC will be centered around Spark vs. Ward. Ward alongside the IPSF is the replacement of the standard Ukrainian Military faction. Because you know. War happened so the Devs removed most of them so players won't shoot normal Ukrainian soldiers (they are gonna get modded in as the good old faction anyways), also their color scheme is really similar, green and camo colours but not the green shades of Freedom. Unless Ward and SIRCAA is funded by, and I wouldn't be surprised, NATO or the U.S. which would explain their absurd funding and why they are so active in The Zone, which in a way, just makes them "UNISG but they don't fugg around", but I thought that was just Mercenaries whenever American Arms Manufacturers throw them contracts for artifacts (happens a lot in-universe). Spark is 100% Clear Sky v2 (worse), they are led by Scar, their armour is blueish and they are against Ward and the International Mission cordoning The Zone. If you tldr their goals, it's clear they are nearly the same as Clear Sky's but far more aggressive as instead trying to study The Zone for the betterment of everyone and understanding it, they just want SIRCAA and Ward to gtfo out because it's clear they know far more than they say to the public and to the stalkers and are putting them at risk for the sake of gains to SIRCAA and Ward and because it makes their job easier if the tresspasers get irreversibly injured or die due to not knowing stuff The Gov already told to Ward and SIRCAA. Which again leads to them collaborating to dissapear people so helpful widespread knowledge is not shared and thus never reached neither the actual proper Stalkers nor the outside world. Something important to mention is that Spark (Clear Sky) base is NOWHERE to be found so I won't be surprised if the DLC shows their base either in Limansk or another part of the map that is currently unaccessible/doesn't exist right now. I don't think they are in the CNPP, the game leaves it very clearly that Monolith is roaming the North so they definitely are holding the CNPP still.
I highly doubt we'll be able to access the CNPP through Limansk again, and here's why: you probably noticed that in the Stalker 2 Zone layout, maps from past games are oriented differently (for example, the Swamp map which was where Clear Sky started, was right next to Cordon to the West, while in Stalker 2, it's far away to the East, next to Zaton, which was way up North in Call of Pripyat, North even to the CNPP, so you get the point). Stalker 2-s Map is way more accurate to the actual, real life Zone, with Pripyat situated North-West to the CNPP, Jupiter Factory, Yaniv Station and the "Red Forest" area is roughly right where it is in real life, the DUGA radar array is also roughly in the right direction, although in the game it's much closer and oriented differently to the CNPP, so my guess is in order to be more corresponding to the real thing, they had to make some concessions (for instance having the Swamp way over West didn't make much sense since the Pripyat River is flowing East of the CNPP, so they had to move around some territories for consistency's sake). So if you check the map in Stalker 2, Limansk is situated way over West/North-West of the CNPP (you can actually check the clouded area at the Center-North of the map is the CNPP, some parts are visible and matching the real-life satellite images/past entries's map), so the Hospital route from Clear Sky would just lead further away North-West from the CNPP. But I guess they can still mix and match territories and places further however they want in a future DLC.
@OnePlayer480 just want to say, there is no Spark Base. When you meet with Scar in Rostok he and the other Sparkers there tell you that. They even mention how funny it is that Wardens and SIRCAA are "looking for a base that doesn't exist. The zone eats anything that stands still."
@@MatadorShifteryoutube just love being the shit pile it is. my previous replies with direct links to stalker subreddit got deleted so you must google it youreself. it's "Cut locations from Stalker2" on r/stalker
According to the lore, Limansk was never evacuated after accident in 1986, so poeple have been living there to the moment when the Zone has appeard in 2006. I think forrester talked about it in Clear Sky (im not sure). These voices of agony could be people struck by the first emission which gave birth to the Zone. Absolutely terryfing.
So, do you think the signal is some kind of psi-imprint caused by the First Emission, or maybe some sort of recent leakage from the hole in the Noosphere as it expands that manifested as radio waves? To add credence to this theory, it seems to make the same sound as when you’re affected by psi energy at the beginning when you interact with the radio, if I’m not imagining.
Its the sounds or radiowaves passing through spacial anomalies, like in clear sky group of mercs could pass through space bubble very weak radiosignal, calling for help. Scar also were asked by forester to find suitable highground to be able to receive their message uninterrupted
@@dhwwiiexpertThe radio institute was located there and may have been assisting with the Brain Scorcher project at the time. Limansk was also a Secret City so they were probably already being experimented on before the first emission. I wouldn’t be surprised if C Conscience did alot of their research there given Monoliths heavy presence.
This is what stalker is. It's not a game where you mindlessly wander around blasting bandits and mutants. I always try to avoid short range combat for more immersion. Stalker for me is exploring the secrets, more like asking; What happened here?
I know and understand your feeling but with Fallout instead. Mainly New Vegas and its vaults. What sort of secrets each vaults has within was truly fascinating.

This is what stalker is. It's not a game where you release it in a finisged state, it's a game where you announce story DLCs 3 years before the release, before it's even halfway finished.
I remember playing Clear Sky as a kid, Limansk was so creepy. And there was a children's playground where you could go in and hear children's laughter with creepy ambient. I was really creeped out by that.
I loved that feeling so much. The first time I played SoC when I was little I was absolutely terrified of the controller in Agroprom Underground and I can vividly remember that encounter and how much it freaked me out.
I played SoC non stop throught the weekend right after it was released (bought ultimate pack cause everything else was sold out at the time when I was returning from work) At Monday I was freaking out of stray dogs on the streets on my way to work, so deep was my dive into the game... I remember that controller and squeaking emergency light in the tunnel till these days... I feel I'll tell my grandkids about that
@@Scyldcynn For me it the first time entering the Red Forest in Shadow of Chernobyl, a really subtle and creepy ambient score and nearing the brain scorcher and the worsening hallucinations, you could cut the air with a knife
I thought the Chornobyl-2 town was this game's Limansk/Dead City into one, seeing this makes me hope they might actually add Dead City and Limansk into the game! Limansk is littered with Space Anomalies by the time of Clear Sky, I hope they further explore it with a more kind of Silent Hill style atmosphere like the Mist anomaly.
I think Dead City is mostly inspired by Chernobyl 2 i was a bit disappointed they didnt add it in the main game along with CNPP... which i still cant get over
@@Strellok100 By Chernobyl 2 you mean the Chernobyl City? Its quite weird how all three didn't feature or mention anything about the city itself. Maybe by Stalker 2's time, the city would've been a SIRCCA/IPSF base with heavy security.
it was marked as a possible location in the leak maps, but ultimately they cut it , again. dead city that is. It would have been wedged between Burnt forest and Lesser Zone, on the south end. there's a lot of locations that were marked for DLC locations that will probably not come to pass. considering those leak maps, have regions that suggested Iron forest and CNPP would be in the game, and were removed as visit-able locations. so who knows what will actually be DLC Limansk is mostly a lock, as for the other one, Cold Island, North of SIRCAA and the Cooling towers is the most likely, Option 2 is the Sandy Dune or Pripyat Outskirts, which were northeast/north of Pripyat
There's a theory that the previous game's Zone was split up into sections as the C-Consciousness created space-time anomalies in order to prevent conventional travel within the Zone. With the Zone seemingly back to a "normal" geographical state, what if Limansk is "trapped" and those stuck inside have gone mad?
I believe that every location currently clouded will eventually be revealed by a future DLC. Limansk was unfortunately a very rushed locale in CS, only memorable for perhaps the biggest fight in the series with multiple factions vying for control (Clear Sky, Monolithians, Renegades, a detachment of Spetsnats) over it. The Anarchy Cell design document - the original plans for the game that would become STALKER Clear Sky - details much bigger plans for the location. It should be noted that Limansk is, despite the absolute lack of mutants and absence of large anomaly fields, a very unsettling location. Perhaps that's due to its backstory and what the Forester tells you about it (a fascinating character in his own right) - I think it's a good example of liminal horror: The buildings are surprisingly intact it has all the bits and baubles of a small town, but it just feels like there's something missing from the town besides its people.
the way you describe it is exactly my impression. Almost as if what happened here is more horrific than the broader zone because there's no evidence or trace of it. Limansk feels like the feeling when the forest goes quiet.
I REALLY hope they bring back Limansk. I found this scary signal all on my own and the callback to Clear Sky had me feeling chills. i’d absolutely love to go back there as DLC but it’s also strange that CNPP is on the map yet we never go near it or the other cloudy section of the map by it, only the Generators map in the endgame which is 1 out of 3 of those cloudy portions… plus allegedly we are getting a snowy anomalous area DLC from what i’ve seen online (I.E. the collectors edition map has an area with snow? drawn on it kind of in the SIRCAA area of the map)
@ I wonder if the fact that the Cooling Towers exists as a pointless area of the map currently is an indicator that it will be used in the future to allow us to go into CNPP or the alleged snowy part! i’m very excited to see what we’ll get
@@lesterschild1065 no, that’s only partially correct. you go to the Generators during the endgame, which is only 1 out of the 3 clouded portions. there’s still a lot of map in that area we don’t have access to, AKA “iron forest” as someone as pointed out as their map glitched and gave the name for the CNPP portion. the Cooling Towers is the closest that we can get in the base game, but I haven’t really explored that area because it gives me creepy Jupiter vibes
The locked door was used by Strelok to escape the Clear Sky and Scar in the previous games. If I remember correctly that section was actually blown up by Strelok so Scar had to improvise a bridge above the river, so (if I'm correct) there's a weird rettcon there. Limansk itself was an "on a rails" section and wasn't very interesting. Maybe there's a DLC that will use better the map and make something more interesting. (As someone else pointed in the comments, there's speculation that some sort of mind control experiment was made in the area, so that mixed with more horror would be an AWESOME DLC).
Yes, you got that right. Strelok blow up that tunnel when Scar gonna enter it, and player must run into safe distance. Scar decide to use that crane/makeshift bridge to cross the radioactive river & pursuit Strelok via Limansk then Abandoned Hospital
Limansk was previously a major Monolith strongpoint, as it was the location of one of the routes to the Chernobyl NPP. It was also connected to the Dead City, which in Anomaly was the main headquarters for the Mercenary faction. But officially, Limansk was swarming with Monolith and a lot of spatial Anomalies. As for what happened to the people who originally lived there, nothing else is known. As for that locked door, that originally led down into what seemed like an underground garage containing a couple of BTR-70s, a lot of boxes, some electrical Anomalies, and not much else. It was never locked or sealed like that before though. SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING'S IN THERE!!!
If i'm not wrong, gsc had plans for a mutant called "the creature in the mist" wich had psi powers (like those we already in the game) the mutant would live in this area, but it was cut...
I believe they’ll add some sort of Hunter/Trapper DLC too as in Rostok there is another Trader stand, full decked out and ready to go just missing its merchant. Maybe this will be how we make money off killing mutants in the future? By harvesting their hide/heads, etc.
As someone who has played STALKER: Anomaly, having a system where you can harvest parts from mutants to sell sounds like a good idea. For all that standalone mod's flaws, that system is one of the few that is actually pretty good.
Consideting that Mutant hunting/looting was cut content it would make Sense. The Mod Mutant loot allows you to actually loot the mutants but the vanilla Price from the mod are busted
Awesome that I immediately recognized the area from stalker clear sky just from that building with the snork, it's cool they paid attention to that. It also had a tunnel collapsed because Strelok detonated explosives behind him to escape and block off his pursuers. We have also heard those demonic screaming sounds before multiple times in Stalker, you can hear it randomly in the distance even in Stalker 2, but this was the most clear and loud version with the most screaming. Even the game Half-Life has the same screaming during the level "On a Rail". Sounds like otherworldy screams of the damned
The Locked door is a part of the main mission and you need to go to that location to find an object to get into Pripyat. During the main mission the area is surround by Mercs which talk about Lymansk and so does a NPC inside the tunnel for the locked door.
the tonnel was used in Clear sky, it was exploded by Strelok when he was runnig away from Scar and Clear sky group. And yes, in leaked S2 build from 2023 zone map revealed that there are 3 planned DLCs, including Limansk
Interesting, they might be also foreshadowing it in the beginning location, there’s a radio station where you kill two bandits and on the radio frequency it mentions that a guy looking like Forester was spotted
yeah, heard it too played at 2 am and thought I don't event want to know about it lol thought it's part of the main line cause I went there relatively early (before Monolith's comeback) there's a stash nearby btw, if you go to the left after facing the bridge to Lymansk and then on the edge of the ground when you get close to it a snork will jump on you from the higher ground
Limansk is slated to be one of the three DLC areas along with the "Cold Island" which is the X-6 laboratory north of SIRCAA, and the "Santy Plateau" which is an area north-east of Pripyat. Wild that the CNPP was cut (east of Yaniv, south of Generators) and the "Steel Forest" (east of Red Forest, south of CNPP) from the final game. There's also an area south-west of the Duga that was cut too called Korogod, it has a crashed plane in it. So, STALKER 2 is getting anywhere from 3 to 6 DLC locations.
GSC CEO talked about their plans of adding in cut content and going even further than the original planned content due to how STALKER 2 over-performed in terms of expectations and more than made up for itself monetarily. It was in the same interview that revealed GSC is in talks with Netflix to make a STALKER show/movie. Chances are high that as long as STALKER 2 keeps printing money, GSC is going to keep throwing content in. This is their dream project.
That location was the enteance to Limansk. I remember playing clear sky 10 years ago and it definitely brings a tear to the eye. Scar and Clear Sky had to fight bandits there. Its awesome to fight alongside scar but its also sad to see what happened to clear sky.
I hate what gsc did to my boi scar in Stalker 2. He is a homicidial hippie troll/clown. I had to put him down. And when Strelok said he is not feeling sad, I wanted to kill Strelok. He is a bad guy anyways. Should have went with the doctor.
I remember there being a massive duty military group that went missing in Limansk. It was speculated that they got sucked into a time anomaly were a horrible altered reality of the zone was played on loop for years till they died. I believe part of the group was found in the 2nd expansion of the og stalker game. Near a science facility that looks like an amphitheater.
I hope they add more Mutants to the game via , I was a little disappointed on the lack of mutant variety, I was hoping they would add more of the cut mutants from the original trilogy but we only got the cat.
@@coltthemac962 I thought so too. There's so much concept art of stuff like walking tree-people, long armed humanoids, even troll-like mutants. I'd absolutely expect more mutants in the DLC
@@Sgt_Kane I expect more weapons too. Different grenade types(I miss the smoke grenades, stun grenades). More assault rifles as we are stuck with 2 choices(Kharod, Dnipro). I am not mentioning AR416, AKs and the rest, all useless, not enough penetration and such. Early game they are good choices, but later stages of the game, all become useless even with max upgrades. I expect more weapon variety with DLCs.
Considering the lore behind lymansk especially about people going crazy over some radiowave experiment could be a great opportunity to finally bring SIN into the stalker series god I hope that is true
There is a stash if you follow the concrete wall on the left side of the bridge. I think it has a blueprint in it. Anyway, with quite an area under fog on the map, I think there is really enough room for a DLC here. There will probably be another badass gunfight at the construction site again. Or a base? Man I can't wait!
The dead city Lymansk has always been a hell hole. even in mods that brought it to life in the original stalkers. its most likely going to be a bloodsucker and snort hell hole. in the previous games it was a battle zone between monolith and mercenaries.
Limansk is also connected to Dead City, which is basically home for me for like dozens of playthroughs of Anomaly/Gamma so man I'm looking forward to go home.
@@EdTheDragonSlayer dead city is very intriguing to me also. Never played anomaly or gamma, my experience with stalker extends only to SoC and HoC. 1st thing on my list now is going to Limansk and the dead city and learning more about those areas
That tunnel with the locked door was once used to reach an underground - collapsed at the time you make it there - that leads directly to Lymansk. It is radioactive as hell and adds more to the mystery than it provides answers - that much I can say without spoilers.
Bruh when I heard for the first time it was like 1 o'clock at night minding my own business went up the tower an went "oh whats this I wonder" and then shitting myself as I looked across the water saying "oh hell naa" and booking it out of there place is creepy dude.
I would like to see something looks like a elder controller which is very powerful and he made a Lymansk his home and bring with them army of zombified people. There is a lot of space to make this city the scariest thing in Stalker. I think he deserves that because of his reputation
Well that tunnel originally was blown up by strelok in clear sky, so it’s rather odd that the devs of stalker 2 didn’t make the tunnel broken or smh like this
hate to kill the suspense, but there is a story mission right next to the radio inside the tunnels. also on the other side of that bridge are just a few floating yellow houses and miles of empty forest. once you cross that bridge and walk north towards prypiat, there is a whole area of prypiat that is usually inaccessible. if you continue north, you will eventually come across an actual developer test field with assets from the game lined up for testing. again, sorry for the immersion kill.
I hope they add it in the future, as well as mutant skinning, nvgs, more guns, placing your own stash backpacks, and I really hope someone is working on Misery mod for Stalker 2!
I found this today and thought exactly the same. I really hope we get to visit Limansk and something horrible and perhaps a new enemy (mutant boss?) appears.
1:41 may be able to open that door with a grenade through the window. Whenever doors have locks on them, padlocks specifically, if you can break that, like with using a grenade, it will allow that door to be opened.
>which states that nobody knows what happened to the residents of Lymansk They were cut out when the game was rushed to the release date/when they decided to sell limansk as a DLC 2 years before the release
@murkyabyss973 Re-reading my original comment, I can see how that could have been worded differently. I've never been to Pripyat. I was visited this location in game while playing in the dead of night.
The whole population of Limansk got burnt during the first disaster and their bodies became shadows on the walls. The city also had a miniature Duga which could have been used for mind control, as the population of the small city was acting strange and the people who entered it felt ill.
@@pannik_lucas that is interesting. I'm glad mine spawned in the hazmat seva model, it gave me the impression that they barely understand what awaits them and saw it acceptable to send an underequipped, lone investigator.

I mean I haven’t played the previous stalker games so I’m not sure if the map looked like it does in stalker 2. I took a look inside the metal door, using a cheat, something really useful is in there. So I think it will be part of some quest or the main story. I left everything there waiting for developments.
I accidentally glitched to Limansk without being aware of it, I thought I'm still on the "right" map. I wandered around Limansk and I came across levitating buildings. I thought that it's a fucking awesome anomaly but then after inspecting them I realized they have no floor and I must've gotten myself out of bounds lol As for the locked tunnel door, you get them open later during the story, not long before entering Pripyat.
Cool, though i'd like to add, for jnformation purposes only, the video paints this area as somewhat "hidden" but you have a mission there lol I actually saw this radio, changed it's frequency, but didn't even pay attention to the sound, i thought it was something to do with how Monolith communicate.
And quick tip if you're planning to play Stalker: Clear Sky: DON'T PLAY IT IN VANILLA, like seriously you will go through all stages of grief playing this game in vanilla. I can recommend to install mods like Sky Reclamation Project or Legends Of The Zone vanilla update (you can install both if you want) they won't hurt game expirience in any way but only improve it, like fixing many many bugs this game has and fixing problems like gun ballistics and game economy.
My favorite easter egg so far! Listen carefully to the human screams in the background, being overshadowed by mutant squeals. I believe its intelligent mutants that are doing their own experiements on humans, or caging them up as a food source. The humans there seem to be in a constant state of agony, but why?
That is a good theory. Personally, I think it is one of these things: 1. Horrific hallucinations from the psi-emissions, or 2. The feelings/consciousness of many suffering humans and mutants influence the noosphere, and these screams are coming from it/the zone itself. I don't think it's truly humans screaming/tortured with mutants there, because we hear these types of screams at random times in the zone throughout the original trilogy and Stalker 2. I think similar to the "whale noises" we hear in the zone, it's not a real animal, but it's the zone itself grumbling, or distant psychic frequences or signals affecting us. This transmission gave the loudest, most clear blast of these screams, though. So it seems something crazy is going on in Limansk, something with intense Psi-emissions or noosphere activity, perhaps.
@@anthonychase6906 In Clear Sky Forester said that Limansk was a scientific-oriented city and there was a Radiowave research facility along with a weird antenna installation that looked like Duga. Countryside people who visited Limansk were complaining on headaches and saw that the city's population was acting weird. And finally, the city wasn't evacuated in 1986, after Chernobyl. It seems there was some experimentation going on with early psi-installments developed by early Project "X". What we hear now are probably the results along with anomalous activity.
this area look like the place where SCAR chased after Strelok in STALKER CLEAR SKY. where STRELOK blow up the doorway and escape. in the original game, the bridge was not collapsed and lead to dead city
I wonder if they'll do something with SIN faction, seeing as it was cut content from the original games. Perhaps they could impliment SIN as sentient, zombified inhabitants of Lemansk, or a cult who worship the screams and voices from the former villagers or something.

@@Mr321asdcan you tell sth more about it? I troed to Google what you said but nothing came up
@@MatadorShifteryoutube just love being the shit pile it is. my previous replies with direct links to stalker subreddit got deleted so you must google it youreself. it's "Cut locations from Stalker2" on r/stalker
The locked door is part of the main story, that much I know.
Yep main mission story much later
According to the lore, Limansk was never evacuated after accident in 1986, so poeple have been living there to the moment when the Zone has appeard in 2006. I think forrester talked about it in Clear Sky (im not sure). These voices of agony could be people struck by the first emission which gave birth to the Zone. Absolutely terryfing.
that is very interesting and terrifying
So, do you think the signal is some kind of psi-imprint caused by the First Emission, or maybe some sort of recent leakage from the hole in the Noosphere as it expands that manifested as radio waves?
To add credence to this theory, it seems to make the same sound as when you’re affected by psi energy at the beginning when you interact with the radio, if I’m not imagining.
@dhwwiiexpert Could be both actually but it's super interesting. Cannot wait for Limansk DLC
@@tyj4195 playing FO3/NV as a lone stalker with hardcore survival mechanics is THE way to play. Hell, you can kinda get away with it in Skyrim with all the burial mounds and draugr crypts around
imo they should make a dlc about duty and freedom taking lymanks and the winner becomes one of the major factions in the game once again
Lmfao that’s literally all that game is idk why you’re trying to say it’s not.
I played SoC non stop throught the weekend right after it was released (bought ultimate pack cause everything else was sold out at the time when I was returning from work)
At Monday I was freaking out of stray dogs on the streets on my way to work, so deep was my dive into the game...
I think Dead City is mostly inspired by Chernobyl 2
i was a bit disappointed they didnt add it in the main game
along with CNPP... which i still cant get over
@@Strellok100 By Chernobyl 2 you mean the Chernobyl City? Its quite weird how all three didn't feature or mention anything about the city itself. Maybe by Stalker 2's time, the city would've been a SIRCCA/IPSF base with heavy security.
it was marked as a possible location in the leak maps, but ultimately they cut it , again. dead city that is. It would have been wedged between Burnt forest and Lesser Zone, on the south end.
there's a lot of locations that were marked for DLC locations that will probably not come to pass. considering those leak maps, have regions that suggested Iron forest and CNPP would be in the game, and were removed as visit-able locations. so who knows what will actually be DLC
Limansk is mostly a lock, as for the other one, Cold Island, North of SIRCAA and the Cooling towers is the most likely, Option 2 is the Sandy Dune or Pripyat Outskirts, which were northeast/north of Pripyat
@Kastrenzo74 Where can I find the leak map? I wanna see the cut locations too. Also, isn't the Iron Forest in game?
@@Strellok100 Actually Dead City is inspired by Poliske, Limansk is based in Chernobyl-2.
There's a theory that the previous game's Zone was split up into sections as the C-Consciousness created space-time anomalies in order to prevent conventional travel within the Zone. With the Zone seemingly back to a "normal" geographical state, what if Limansk is "trapped" and those stuck inside have gone mad?
like a myst anomaly ?
@@Sgt_Kaneотсылка к siren Blood Curse?
I saw the same annotation, really interesting stuff. it said "Snow?", I believe, just to the right of around SIRCAA
@ I wonder if the fact that the Cooling Towers exists as a pointless area of the map currently is an indicator that it will be used in the future to allow us to go into CNPP or the alleged snowy part! i’m very excited to see what we’ll get
@@candideoptimism8775 You go there for the final quest, but i really hope it's opened later by modders or by GSC
Last year, in leaked game build there was markers about Limansk DLC. They created Limansk as DLC idea from start, so yeah, waiting for more
The locked door was used by Strelok to escape the Clear Sky and Scar in the previous games.
Exactly that's how i remember the bridge to limansk part
SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING'S IN THERE!!!
ur able to go in there its a bunch of dead snorks
The locked door is for a later main quest.
If i'm not wrong, gsc had plans for a mutant called "the creature in the mist" wich had psi powers (like those we already in the game) the mutant would live in this area, but it was cut...
Dead City canonically is the mercenary headquarters too, its mentioned in SoC multiple times
I believe they’ll add some sort of Hunter/Trapper DLC too as in Rostok there is another Trader stand, full decked out and ready to go just missing its merchant. Maybe this will be how we make money off killing mutants in the future? By harvesting their hide/heads, etc.
Don't quote me on this, but I believe that stall is supposed to be inhabited by Trapper, but he never appears there after In Search of A Guide.
There's a closed teleporter room in Prypiat in the hospital basement. And also Jupiter plant is 70% modeled.
Where's the Jupiter plant? I was super excited to visit it again but I literally couldn't find it anywhere on the map
@unreal1019 it inaccessible without noclip and theres radiation death trigger. Just fly to the left from Prypiat and you'll find it.
The Locked door is a part of the main mission and you need to go to that location to find an object to get into Pripyat. During the main mission the area is surround by Mercs which talk about Lymansk and so does a NPC inside the tunnel for the locked door.
In limansk there is also the theory of a time travelling machine. Wich would make a cool plot for a DLC
i wish stalker had more paranormal stuff like metro with actual ghosts and shit.
I can’t wait to explore Limansk again it’s such a spooky city and the urban combat is top notch
the tonnel was used in Clear sky, it was exploded by Strelok when he was runnig away from Scar and Clear sky group.
The area is currently for a mission only really, a singular mission
yeah, heard it too
played at 2 am and thought I don't event want to know about it lol
thought it's part of the main line cause I went there relatively early (before Monolith's comeback)
there's a stash nearby btw, if you go to the left after facing the bridge to Lymansk and then on the edge of the ground
when you get close to it a snork will jump on you from the higher ground
On second thought, let's not go to Lymansk. 'Tis a silly place
THE DEAD CITY
maybe they will make a Silent Hill like DLC.
That would be cool, actually
YES! WE NEED DEAD CITY WITH ZOMBIES AND MORE ❤❤❤
@@atonium2027rotting zombies though, not just brain dead fresh humans
Limansk and Dead city AND pripyat are all different lol
Near a science facility that looks like an amphitheater.
the guys at ,,amphitheater,, are actually the founders od Duty. They didnt have any ties to limansk
@@sulyokpeter3941hopefully they add in the an94
The brain scorcher is also located in the red forest in SoC. Makes me wonder if it’s been reactivated in junction with what’s happening in Limansk.
No the brain scorcher is moved and is in malachite and is visibly destroyed
In tunnel with locked doors is story mission.
Nice pfp.
@@ulfrick11 Thank you^
The door that's locked is related to the end game quests
Considering the lore behind lymansk especially about people going crazy over some radiowave experiment could be a great opportunity to finally bring SIN into the stalker series god I hope that is true
This gets me excited. I do want a dlc where it's just mutants vs the humans in the zone.
Like a horror theme
Tunnel is related to a main quest but it does not lead anywhere.
Reminds me of the signal in Event Horizon, or in Serenity when they have an open comm signal to a reaver ship.
I really cant wait for the upcoming dlc, hope its terrifying.
Limansk is the most unsettling location in the Zone. Always gives me chills.
I really want a Lymansk DLC, I want the world to be as big as possible to really get the feeling it goes on forever.
Been there, and heard that creepy radio sound too. Also, I found a flash drive upgrade there for a sniper I think.
First time I heard that scary stuff it immediately made me think of Event Horizon.
Someone has to try to anomaly jump into the city if no one had tried yet
That tunnel with the locked door was once used to reach an underground - collapsed at the time you make it there - that leads directly to Lymansk. It is radioactive as hell and adds more to the mystery than it provides answers - that much I can say without spoilers.
you have me intrigued, I'll definitely make some more progress with the story. I like to explore these games first and take story as a side mission
The Limansk DLC is mentioned on the leaked maps from 2022/2023 and it's called 'Secrets of Limansk'
The door is used later on in the main story
I'm still carrying Wolf's PDA around the Zone.
there is actually a story mission there as well which allows you in locked area but no lymansk yet as far as i know
I hope they add it in the future, as well as mutant skinning, nvgs, more guns, placing your own stash backpacks, and I really hope someone is working on Misery mod for Stalker 2!
This was my exact response when I came across this. Lymansk is too cool of a spot to leave out... I want my STALKER Stalingrad.
I found this today and thought exactly the same. I really hope we get to visit Limansk and something horrible and perhaps a new enemy (mutant boss?) appears.
I just found this yesterday and i was like ok well that was horrifying
1:41 may be able to open that door with a grenade through the window. Whenever doors have locks on them, padlocks specifically, if you can break that, like with using a grenade, it will allow that door to be opened.
>which states that nobody knows what happened to the residents of Lymansk
They were cut out when the game was rushed to the release date/when they decided to sell limansk as a DLC 2 years before the release
radio tuned into hell like the event horizon
Wandered into this at night, both in game and IRL. Freaked me the hell out. It sounded like the transmission from Event Horizon.
What do you mean IRL?
@Paturica8847 "in real life"
@@isthatyoursomnomnomyeah but you say IRL like you were casually taking a stroll in the Zone “in real life”. Care to explain more?
@murkyabyss973 It was like 2am when I was playing.
@murkyabyss973 Re-reading my original comment, I can see how that could have been worded differently.
I've never been to Pripyat. I was visited this location in game while playing in the dead of night.
I wish GSC bring back Limansk and CNPP in future DLC. Love the two location in Clear Sky and SoC. The devs could have so many ideas for them.
2:56 There is also one more radio station cabin near garbage..Two stalkers were in it...
The whole population of Limansk got burnt during the first disaster and their bodies became shadows on the walls. The city also had a miniature Duga which could have been used for mind control, as the population of the small city was acting strange and the people who entered it felt ill.
you know what is weird?i never found the shadows in clear sky game
@togurotoguro it's just a description from in game material probably not written by the level designers so of course things don't always match up
Hmmm, the Deserted Hospital is over there too, maybe it’s from there, it used to be a monolith place, perhaps the DLCs will include this 😮
Interesting, the Sparker corpse looks like it's randomly generated. The one I looted was the model of an exoskeleton
@@pannik_lucas that is interesting. I'm glad mine spawned in the hazmat seva model, it gave me the impression that they barely understand what awaits them and saw it acceptable to send an underequipped, lone investigator.
@@Sgt_Kane Good interpretation. I hadn’t thought about it that deeply since I ended up near that tunnel while progressing through the main quests. I suppose the Sparker I found adds to the eerie sense of wonder: what could have killed a veteran in such heavy equipment without leaving a trace. Goes to show the power of spontaneous storytelling behind the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. universe.
I mean I haven’t played the previous stalker games so I’m not sure if the map looked like it does in stalker 2. But I assumed that the more clouded areas of the map like the entire top right were going to be dlc areas. Like the space directly to the right of the red forest or the area to the bottom right of cordon.
@@SynapseFire I've played the very first one years ago, it's physically the same areas that are recreated perfectly - but the map has beem slightly remixed to be more accurate to real life. As far as we know that's true, there are some areas on the map that are marked with names or even fully built but inaccessible. Those will probably be DLC
I took a look inside the metal door, using a cheat, something really useful is in there. So I think it will be part of some quest or the main story. I left everything there waiting for developments.
I had enemies spawn in that area across the bridge. Not sure if it means anything but it’s something.
yesterday i see a heavy scuad of stalkers in other side of the river
Im interested in how theyre gonna go about it, cause that bridge is radioactive asf
The "Hell FM"
I accidentally glitched to Limansk without being aware of it, I thought I'm still on the "right" map.
I wandered around Limansk and I came across levitating buildings. I thought that it's a fucking awesome anomaly but then after inspecting them I realized they have no floor and I must've gotten myself out of bounds lol
As for the locked tunnel door, you get them open later during the story, not long before entering Pripyat.
The lock door is part of a main mission
Thank you for playing the game ❤. You are beast 🎉
Cool, though i'd like to add, for jnformation purposes only, the video paints this area as somewhat "hidden" but you have a mission there lol
I actually saw this radio, changed it's frequency, but didn't even pay attention to the sound, i thought it was something to do with how Monolith communicate.
Personally, I think it is one of these things:
1. Horrific hallucinations from the psi-emissions, or
Imagine if they do horror map, dark, horror town
Damn. I really should have replayed clear sky and call of pripyat before getting in stalker 2
There will be at least 4 DLCs on the merged stalker 2 map.
"the secret of Limansk" "Sandy plateau" "Yantar" "cold island"
Shadow of the monolith is a comfirmed dlc
you only go to there once during story quests and not to give any spoilers: “soldiers” says its a dead end and has lot of mutants inside.
Clear Sky nostalgia)
You can teleport there, it just some unfinished assets
Yeah, one of 2 possible DLC locations for sure
Perhaps that’s where the rest of the unfinished game is.
Locked door opened later through main quest.
this area look like the place where SCAR chased after Strelok in STALKER CLEAR SKY. where STRELOK blow up the doorway and escape. in the original game, the bridge was not collapsed and lead to dead city
That is definitely the place friend, you remember correctly
such a stalker moment
Sounds like a Controller attack.
Mb it's a promo to some Zomby mode (COD-like), so Limansk will be a separate location
If they give us Limansk, then they will give us Hospital and Pripyat Underground
I wonder if they'll do something with SIN faction, seeing as it was cut content from the original games. Perhaps they could impliment SIN as sentient, zombified inhabitants of Lemansk, or a cult who worship the screams and voices from the former villagers or something.
It part of short term quest link up with main but hopefully they make dlc worthy and I wand Ukraine pistol return
Could the Brain Scorcher be back online and on that radio transmission are victims of their brains being fried in real time?
The recording reminds me the Event Horizon movie.
Exactly my thoughts. Seeing how that movie turned out doesn't make me optimistic for whoever is in Lymansk
What happened in Limansk? Coming soon in dlc!
I hope we get the hospital in dlc, and CNPP
This is giving me Event Horizon vibes
Exactly what i thought!
You should play clear sky, the faction mechanics are fun and in my opinion far superior to 2 where they are an afterthought
