Enchanting as always☺️ and been obsessed with the Van Gogh Pokemon since it came out. Managed to purchase one of the pikachus😅😅😅 he’s so flipping cute! Thank you for sharing. You’re work is magnificent.
Thank you so much Bianca!❤️ And I’m so happy you got one of the pikachus, everything was basically gone by the time I got there haha. Thank you so much for watching, I’m so glad you enjoyed it💗
Screamed when I saw your video upload pop up in my notifications 🥰! Such a beautiful video, happy to see such detailed videos of your process! Your paintings bring me so much joy 😊! I love every floral painting you’ve done so far, they’re stunning 😊!
Thank you so much Hayley, it always makes me so happy to see your incredibly sweet comments! Thank you for following along and I’m so happy you enjoyed the video and the paintings 🥹🥰
but the flower though!!! im not sure what the bloom is (carnation?!) but painting flowers is so difficult to do well or believably since the values are so compressed yet the colours are so chromatic; what you did was incredibly impressive. like a more diffuse fantin-latour
Thank you so much! Yes it was a carnation, and I found it so unbelievably hard to do, since it’s just so difficult to make it not seem like a big pink blob lol. You’re so incredibly kind, thank you 💗
I really like how your voice and Sargent's seem to merge on your canvases. I was a little bummed that the huge canvas project didn't pan out and lost steam, but we've all been there. Have you thought of maybe doing some small "zero-draft" studies for the layout of the final painting?
Thank you so much! I felt the same way, but sometimes it just works better for me to start again or try something different. And I will try with those studies for my new idea! I think that will definitely help simplify the process and help me to get going again. Thank you for watching ☺️

If you don’t mind me asking what brushes do you use? I oil paint and the current brushes I use are giving me the hardest time
