I think we all owe George a beer for this series. The man's an absolute legend. That trailer is a work of art. I cant wait to see the boat finished! Top work guys, quality FNQ products right there!!
I dunno what I’m gonna watch once you lads are finished. I think you should stay there Timmy and film more boat builds. It’s been my favorite series of videos to watch for a long time. George is a bloody good bloke to be giving all this time and effort in for you Timmy.
Some artists use paint and brushes. George uses Alloy and a welder. To learn all of George's knowledge and techniques you would need to do a ten year apprenticeship or more. He is such a highly skilled hard worker that takes no shortcuts. Very impressive.
TT that trailer is something straight out of Mad Max. Max wud be more than happy to tow that trailer behind his Interceptor. well done George n TT. Milly has me smiling hearing the ball bouncing.
George !! From start to finish, boat to trailer, your attention to detail and your “cut no corners” approach is second to none. Have met some red hot fabricators in my time, but you take the cake. Thanks for sharing the tips and tricks, and Tim for filming the whole process. ( honestly think there’s a new channel opportunity for the builds?) Congratulations Tim and thanks George and crew for all the content. Brilliant 👍
This build series has giving me the bug to build my dream. Timmy thankyou for this journey from pipe dreams to now, George's workman ship needs to be shown as he is a true master at his craft. Hopefully get to see this in real life 1 day. Cheers
Awesome boat and trailer champions!!! Good to see some fellow Aussies knocking it out of the ball park!!! Hats off to all involved and please buy some shoes next time Timmy!!! Can't imagine the shavings you have stuck in your toes and feet!!!
I have never watched a series like this before, not even keen on boats... i like making things but.... George is worth his weight in whatever that is more valuable than gold!
We all watched you build a timber boat by hand years ago in your garage. We’ve now seen you build a world class boat and spectacular trailer with some extraordinary tradesman. The generosity shown by all is testimony to Timmy’s love of the sport and character as a man. Please get around all of Timmy’s sponsors and I’m sure George will be flat out with new boat and trailer orders for the next few years. Great work mate.
Thats a one off grand trailer to bring years of smiles and great adventures not to mention show casing all of the talent n sweat equity of goerge and crews talent including ur own, plus that swing down spare is just one grand idea of goerges inventive mind.glad youll soon be able to take us all fishing on epic journeys.from a humble wooden boat to this has to bring a tear to ur heart.enjoy and pay homage to all who got you on this juorney.happy fishing timmy!!love watching the build.snookie pa.💥👌👍💥
Ask George to put a cutout in the bottom step for the jockey wheel as it will prove to be a problem in the future. You have one of the best series I have ever enjoyed here Timmy. Thank you to both you, George and all your sponsor’s. .
Learning so much about fabricating from George, and I have been building stuff for decades. Love the series, feel like I could build my own after watching! Tight lines from Vancouver, BC
this is such a great series.. making me wish I would have decided to restore an aluminum boat instead of fiberglass.. not that it's easier or less work, just so much more straight forward.. thanks for this detailed content!!
TImmy T, please get us an indepth interview with George. Off site and On the record! Where's he from? What was his childhood like growing up? Does he have a big family? What other jobs might be have had? How did he get involved with welding? With Aluminum? With Boating? Married? Kids? Hobbies? The man is as patient and kind as he is talented. (At least on camera 😉) So take him out for a huge steak & scrump dinner and let's get into Georgie's head!!! POST YOUR QUESTIONS FOR GEORGE: ↓↓↓ BELOW ↓↓↓
That’s a work of art, the amount of time and effort put into the build and get an end result like that, 110% top of their craft, I’d like to know a ballpark figure as trying to guess could be too hard. 👌👍
I tell you what Timmy, what George and his family, employees, sponsors have done for you on this boat and trailer project is better than winning the bloody lottery. PS I love George’s modesty on being the best boat builder in Australia 😂
I have absolutely smashed (and loved) this series Timmy. Probably the best/most detailed build series I've seen. I'm pretty sure George has done (or at least thought about) it, (he seem to think of everything), but I couldn't tell if there was a breather on your water filler cap. Might pay to ask George if he thinks you might need it. It is going to get red hot inside those water wells when you get into areas like the Pilbara in WA. And seeing as they are also your main chassis stringers I'd hate for such a piece of art to be compromised because of it. But WOW! Best looking trailer mate. Full custom 👌
I'd love to know what this beast of a trailer, aka art piece, weighs. That thing is so over-engineered it ought to never break or bend on the road to anywhere your truck will successfully tow it to. 😍🤯
My Hats Off to you George and Pauly. Simply amazingly impressive work you guys have done on this Trailer. A question are you able to build an off road ally trailer for my boat here in Darwin ? Im super keen for you guys to build it seeing the quality and absolute passion you have on building a genuine beefy no bullshit proper real offroad Boat Trailer George. Well Done mate.
What and epic boat build love it been watching it evry night and evry break at work till the end. How do I get a samurai shirt that your wearing at 14:28 to support George id buy a boat if I could so a shirt will do😅
cool build series. what did the weights of the boat and trailer come out to? there is a shit ton of work and material gone into both the boat and trailer. nooiice work
Timmy, you mind letting us all know the weight of the trailer..... reckon won't be light. Great build videos mate. Hope life takes you where you wanna go and if you're ever in darwin look me up.
That would have to be the most overbuilt expesive trailer I have ever seen ! Awsome though. Even useing the frame for water storage . Even made of alloy , what would boat/trailer weigh? What will you tow it with?
I reckon you were onto something with that bottom step blocking the jockey wheel from raising up higher. Not just for on the beach, but you'll find times when the ground will rise up where you want to drop it down and you won't be able to lift it. You'd probably have to trim both sides of the step to keep it symmetrical, but it don't think the bottom step needs to be so wide anyway.
@@mungbean84 Looks like he has a new welder in this one? No duck tape wrapped around the line? You could use a spool gun but they limit access quite a bit. Aluminum is soft and cant be pushed very far through the line. looks to me like he's using Push /pull which means there are drive rollers at the machine and at the gun. He is also running pulse machines. you can research the benefits of those.
Wondering if since this series of big boat build and trailer George has had a lot more business come his way seems to be a packed shed or is he normally just busy
I love the series Tim ,and I don’t want be a stick in the mud but the amount of rocks and shit coming of your wheels will probably smash your little sprinklers they need shielding or be made from metal, brass or something Great job though , very special trailer Cheers from down south
They're on the other side of the chassis, but I guess we'll see in time if they are in the firing line. If there were that many rocks bouncing around in that space the bottom of the hull is gonna get pummelled too, so probably a bigger issue than the sprinkler heads. If they fail rapidly, George could always weld up the holes and just drill new jets with some little drills to make it a more robust setup.
Yep, I agree. The plastic sprinkler heads will be the first thing to fail as they will not hold up to road debris hitting them. Metal ones will be required, and hopefully the water pressure in the system is able to flush all the dirt and mud that will accumulate in them. Great system, and with a few tweaks after the first few trips and it'll be great. Rest of the build looks schmick. Just wondering if something better could be done to the fold away extended draw bar. All that work for about 1m extra distance from the main coupling seems like a poor reward for all the effort. Won't be many situations where the extra length will assist in launch/retrieval. I guess dropping the spare, detaching the trailer and pushing the whole setup into the drink will be the best way for shallow beach launches. The only upgrade the trailer doesn't have is a self drive option where you deploy the jockey wheel, detach from vehicle and electric motors on the wheels drive the trailer in and out of the water with no car needed. That'd be the ultimate beach launch setup.
George is an absolute legend….. his patients and skill shows in his craft.
I think we all owe George a beer for this series. The man's an absolute legend. That trailer is a work of art. I cant wait to see the boat finished!
Top work guys, quality FNQ products right there!!
I love it. No CNC milling, just hand cut everything! Old school, precise and excellent! George, you are great!
Mate that’s the best looking trailer build I’ve seen to date ,, well done Timmy and George A.k.a MR Miyagi
I dunno what I’m gonna watch once you lads are finished. I think you should stay there Timmy and film more boat builds. It’s been my favorite series of videos to watch for a long time. George is a bloody good bloke to be giving all this time and effort in for you Timmy.
Mate - George is probably the benchmark in this beautiful country 👌👌👌
Absolute masterclass , I reckon George could build the space shuttle in his workshop .
Some artists use paint and brushes. George uses Alloy and a welder. To learn all of George's knowledge and techniques you would need to do a ten year apprenticeship or more. He is such a highly skilled hard worker that takes no shortcuts. Very impressive.

No scrimping buy nice or buy twice. I think George is in my future when I move up that way ha ha.
Now I think of it, I don’t think I’ve ever seen Timmy with a pair of shoes on!
Great work George ❤
Wow! I'm glad I watched this before building my second boat trailer. You have expanded my horizons! Thank you!
Absolutely EPIC build. Well done lads and great to see good Aussie products being manufactured here by quality tradesman.
Wow! That is an absolutely brilliant piece of craftsmanship to produce the Rolls Royce of trailer’s, well done lads.
I have never watched a series like this before, not even keen on boats... i like making things but.... George is worth his weight in whatever that is more valuable than gold!
Little tips like that angle iron straight edge on pipe are drops gold! 🍻👍🏼
George's attention to detail is outstanding.
That is awesome. Built in water sump for washing the trailer and boat fresh off the beach... Amazing
This trailer is one of the most fantastic bits of fabrication I've ever seen. It's an engineering marvel!! Well done to all involved!
George, you need your own channel mate love your work
Fit for the queen Mary Top job George keep up the good work Peter

You blokes thought of everything, amazing build.
Learning so much about fabricating from George, and I have been building stuff for decades. Love the series, feel like I could build my own after watching! Tight lines from Vancouver, BC
Haha tight lines from WA, Australia ✌️🤙
George is a true artist, I would like to see him design and build a boat housing all his great tallent.
That’s one beast of a trailer, I would add a coffee machine and it would finish it if perfectly 😂
Looks like George is a fan of flight of the navigator trailer, with those steps.
Top quality job from the Master boat builder, Million Dollar looks.
Timmy, it is a work of art! Great job to you, George and his team!
Great looking boat & trailer George has done a great job 👍
incredible trailer. Fantastic work. George you are a dime laying legend!
Incredible trailer. I was glued to the screen
All i can say is that is the best boat trailer ive ever seen.
it so good that he makes boats and trailers that are bullet proof the attention to detail is next level
Work of art well done George 👏
A beautiful boat deserves a beautiful trailer…. You guys don’t disappoint !👍👍
That trailer is epic.
That’s all Class Timmy.
Absolutely amazing built.

I heard George could weld before he could walk, true or false?
very beautiful work guys, again
I was a bit luke warm on the washdown system - now I'm sold.
All you guys are very talented and have shown me some really neat things to do on my boat. Thanks for all your hard work, your video's are the best.
That spare tire mount pure genius.
That’s a work of art, the amount of time and effort put into the build and get an end result like that, 110% top of their craft, I’d like to know a ballpark figure as trying to guess could be too hard. 👌👍
$500,000.00
Here to see suspension work! Be back after watching
That trailer is out of this world!
I tell you what Timmy, what George and his family, employees, sponsors have done for you on this boat and trailer project is better than winning the bloody lottery. PS I love George’s modesty on being the best boat builder in Australia 😂
The trailer's looks nicer than the boat. Just playin mate, good stuff.
That’s a piece of art!!!!
Mate best build series on TH-cam so far 👏🏻
Damn that’s awesome…
Your a lucky man Timmy

What a great job 5 stars.
All I can say Timmy is F#&$ing WOW 😮😊 George has absolutely nailed this build mate from bottom to top mate looks killer 👌🎣👍
Thanks for showing us this George. You need to take him out fishing or drop him off some nice fillets once a week for the rest of your life.
That is gonna be the best looking trailer at the ramp
That trailer is cooler than every thing I own, is that boat ramp at Taylor’s beach
Awesome fabrication. Trailer looks epic.
Excellent job. In fact it will be a one off. What are you going to tow it with. It will be a good advert for George and his mates.
You should tell George to get a TH-cam channel going to show his builds and make some income with the subs you would throw his way.
What and epic boat build love it been watching it evry night and evry break at work till the end. How do I get a samurai shirt that your wearing at 14:28 to support George id buy a boat if I could so a shirt will do😅

You got a licence to drive this thing mate? This boat is gonna be huge. Nice work lads
Well done can't wait for your first run
One other little thing. Pull the pin in the winch hook and flip it so it doesn't gouge out the roller when you winch it over every time.
Awesome trailer mate
Smick Trailer CHEERS🍺
Love the build series, what’s the total weight of the trailer?
Looking like a bloody good rig for fishing.
Timmy, you mind letting us all know the weight of the trailer..... reckon won't be light. Great build videos mate. Hope life takes you where you wanna go and if you're ever in darwin look me up.

Bad ass auto-washing system!
Mate that is top notch 👌👌 credit too you boys for sure
Looks sick timmy! 👍
Awesome build lads
Great review
Would it be possible to get a run down of Georges welder.... like does he use a spool gun?
Earlier vids of the boat build covered the welders he uses.
