Never played football in my life and I'm playing for my first time this yr and its tackle still got no idea what I'm gonna play but this was super useful
Coach! I love your videos and I want to know if you can make anything on Tight ends. I try and look up things for tight ends but the videos are a lot older, and not really that useful, and you make things a lot easier to understand and teach in a way I can learn, so if you think you can make a video or something like that Covering the tight end position, that would be great! Blocking, running out for a pass, catching, route running, All of that.
I got you- I’ll make some content. Thank you very much for the feedback! And giving a clear description of the video that you want. A lot of guys just go “give me a TE video” and don’t really give me much to go off
This is going to be my first time playing football because I'm from jamaica and we play mostly soccer there andbecause im a smaller guy I will be playing kicker but my coach also put me at running back
honestly my football coach makes us do oklahama drills with no leg pads, and in fact there is helmets cracking and popping and people getting the breath knocked out of them. but im not saying you are wrong abt anything because my team does need to get better at tackling. i think i actually got a broken rib the first day of padded practice
Coach! I love your videos and I want to know if you can make anything on conditioning for football especially for the summer conditioning We have during football workouts.
Hey coach it’s my first year playing football in general. I missed spring ball and will be the last to get my pads. We have a camp in two weeks and we will be going to pads. Should I ask my dad to buy some or should I wait just in case I get some decent ones?
I would get some cheap ones so you can practice in them. If you want to spend money I would use those at school- it’s likely that the school pads may not be the best quality
I’m 21 and jus wanna play walk on bc I jus fell in love with the game and been studying it like crazy I learned every single type of coverages the differences between them the strengths and the weaknesses of each coverage and I also learned the best time ti scramble depending on the coverage what positions to throw to in each coverage that have the highest % receiving it so due the mental aspect I’ve feel like I’m very knowledgeable but I’ve never acc played and I wanna be a Qb jus wondering if u think it’s too late or should still make a Strive for it
@@firstdowntrainingfor sure I’m going for my first real training td on the field I’m tryna master my throwing mechanics b4 anything else bc I feel like once you master that the other stuff with being a QB jus comes with it what do you think how should I first start training?
Going into 8th grade, first time in tackle (former flag player). im 5’5”, 125 pounds, 4.9 40 yard dash, 160 pound max bench, 37 inch vertical. And anywhere from 5-8% bodyfat. What position do you think would fit me the best so i can prepare for whats coming up.

Yeah man, I would honestly contact your high school coach and explain that you’re a soccer player etc. I’m sure he would love to have you. You will pick up on the rules very quickly
As an over aggressive soccer player, I’m thinking of trying football in my sophomore year bc I already signed up for soccer as a freshman, what position should i play? I’m also speedy
I'm going into 8th grade at 160 lb and im playing QB and outside linebacker and my max squat is 200 lb and my max bench is 130 what should I do to get better
I would maybe try to purchase a really cheap one from a store with a return policy, and just use it for as long as you can and then return it when the school gives you one or team
Coach im trying to make it in the nfl as a reciever/db (i can play safety and corner) in going into the 8th grade at 5’7-5’9 125 lbs devonta smith type build im very quick and fast good tackler my max bench is around 70-75 lbs 😭 with crisp route running what should i do training wise getting reasy to make varisity in my freshman year
Work on your speed for sure and catching. If you have good routes those would be the icing on the cake. We have a great workout plan you can do on our site! Here is the info www.firstdowntraining.com/product-page/elite-wr-training-package
Not much to talk here, also going to 8th 5'3 and 100 pounds with an 85 bench but i think right now your main focus should definitely be strength training with wr train along with that of course. I played 7th grade ball as a wr btw
