Dreamcatcher has an amazing discography with so many genres. It really surprised me and I look forward to seeing what you think in the future. 🥰 Vision was one of my favorite eras and it was honestly another serve in a year filled with them.
dreamcatcher's title tracks are rock styled but their b sides are super varied and they have some incredible music

Your fave is our Wolfie Siyeon 🐺. One of the best female voices in KPop. And one of the top performers. Also, Queen SuA 🐥is the main dancer and the loudest KPop idol ever. She sings and dances, and then goes on to be the mom of the group.
The last two DC albums were produced by Edanary, the production company behind Ateez. Leez, Ollounder, Madox and others have all worked producing for both groups. Finally, Fairytale is an amazing song, made to commemorate Dreamcacher's first show wins. A heartbreaking story of how it took them 5 years to achieve this. From Minx, their former group disbanding, to an incredible 2021-2022, where they placed in the Top 10 of female KPop groups. And this last few years feel like a fairy tale for the girls, so they made a song out of this.
Some of their b-sides may be even better than the title songs, and range from J-Metal & NuMetal to R&B and Funk. Their discography is insane. 6 hours full of incredible songs. It's one of the things that make Dreamcatcher amazing. And then, behind the incredible performances, their strong vocals and choreo, these girls are just a likable, lovable bunch of funny dorks, who absolutely love what they do and each other. Their behind the scenes videos and the fan videos (like Insomnicsy's channel) are so entertaining.
Everything you said is on point. Their discography’s strength is why I’ll always go to bat for them, they may not be as domestically popular as the other GG’s, and no hate to other groups, but I really do think DC’s discography as a whole runs circles around bigger more popular groups. They also are insane live and so likeable outside of their performances too
Absolutely agree about the b-sides! Took me a while to get to them because of the other groups I stan but WOW now my kpop playlist has mainly DC songs because all of their b-sides are so good
@@criticorn663 It's the same for me. I listen to other songs, but most groups I like have 2-3 good songs I listen to. Dreamcatcher has 6+ hours of amazing songs and they're also the bulk of my playlist.

they also have a It's Live performance of Vision and Some Love and girl, the VOCALS!!!! It's so worth watching, my sisters ate that!!
and Rainy Day is a beautiful ballad, one of my favorite bsides of the year, for sure!

YAAAASSS MISS MAM! I'm fully encouraging a deep dive into Dreamcatcher's B-sides! They are so diverse but they all FEEL like Dreamcatcher still, ngl one of the best discographies in K-pop. PERIOD.
You gotta do a Odd Eye stage witness their immaculate stage presence. And do Deja Vu plz if you haven’t already 🙏🫶
Glad to see you checking out more Dreamcatcher! As a long time fan, Vision is my fave title tracks from them since Odd Eye. That being said, they always kill it and let me tell you, this song performed live is even better!
I got lucky and saw them in Paris a few weeks ago and girl i can't describe how much of a crazy experience is to see them performing live, i was astonished of what those women are able to do on scene. They gave us everything, powerfull dances, crazy vocals and so much fun. I really hope you'll get to see them live cuz it really is someting else, btw they start the concert with vision it shows you pretty well what the rest of the concert will look like !
Dreamcatcher has some DIVERSE b-sides. their title tracks are actually the majority of their rock sounding songs. they like to experiment with sound on their b-sides. not saying they don't have rock flavor but it's not as hard.
even if you don't react to them here, i still highly recommend them!

Woo! Dreamcatcher! I was legit anticipating you getting to this. Incoming wall of text: Thank you again for showing them "Some Love". Get it? Ba dum tsss. I'll see myself out. Anyway, I wholeheartedly agree with you about "Vision". 100% BOP. I may or may not have had it on repeat for several days at work...the entire day. I'm a software dev. Zoning out to music happens a lot. 😂 You'd be surprised by a lot of their b-sides in general. They do still have plenty of rock b-sidies, but in general they are all over the place regarding genre. It's a fun adventure. I like how someone else described the b-sides on this album. If "Vision" is a warning about what our world could become if we stay on our current path, the b-sides remind us what we're fighting for. Also, their ballads are so damn good since they all have powerful vocals. Dami sang in her higher tone a bit in "Odd Eye", but you've yet to get a legit verse with her singing. It's beautiful. One of my top tier ballads from them is the on from their previous album, called "Always". It can be a tear jerker...literally. They performed that as the first song during the album release online/offline concert thing. It was their first time performing in front of InSomnia (fandom name) since the beginning of the pandemic. I was crying, they were crying, I'm sure the audience was in the fetal position on the floor crying. Also, the solo songs from that album are really fun. You definitely get a good feel for each member's tastes.
I do hope that you one day get to take a deeper dive into the group and the members themselves. Their music is fantastic, but once you learn about where they started, the journey they've taken, and where they are now, you'll have the craziest amount of respect for them. Each member has born superstar energy. It's pretty neat that they are all rather unique in personality as well. They have a small obsession with MBTI. I'm not sure about this immediate moment, but they've touted that they all have different MBTI. They have a close relationship with their company and other staff based on mutual trust. Because of this, they end up having a lot more freedom to be themselves. Plenty of rather entertaining, and sometimes unfiltered, moments have happened due to this. There are plenty of guides out there. A few made this year are pretty darn good. However, if you ever want solely character content, the TH-cam channel "insomnicsy_인썸닉씨" is the popular place to go. She has put a dumb amount of work into providing content to the international Somnies via creating various series, vlive translations, etc. The "This is ___" series is a good place to start. There is a 2020, '21, and '22 version for each member. All 3 for each member are fantastic. Anyway, point being, they will hook you. I'm still relatively new to k-pop, in my opinion (a year and a few months). I did not want to get or plan on getting attached to a group like I have them. They're a pretty great group of ladies, for sure.

I know it was a summer release but if you get a chance to check out WJSN’s Last Sequence they’re another group like Dreamcatcher that has a really unique sound and style and they’re also crazy underrated!

I knew you were going to be surprised by the highlight medley.
While all of DC's title tracks have that rock edge to them, their b-sides are, well, let's just say that their discography is THE most diverse discography I have ever heard. And I mean that literally. Their b-sides run a veritable gamut of genres, from electronic to jazz to funk to even a bit of reggae and so much more. And yes, ballads too. I'm not really a ballad guy but even I can admit that their ballads are immaculate.
Their tree of language album has 10 different song on it (plus a Siyeon solo which is a must listen) and I don't think they repeated genres once.
You got just a small taste of this from the highlight medley. I suggest, no, I implore that you check out some of their b-sides in the near future. Not only be not disappointed, I'm positive that you will be very impressed by their versatility and the diversity of their discography.
Seriously, you already know that they are very talented, but you won't truly understand just how talented these women are until you delve into their b-sides.
