I'm not even 20mins into the episode and I already love Steve's sister, she's awesome!! If either one of my younger brothers looked at me with as much admiration as Steve has for Cindy, I'd know I succeeded in being a great big brother!
i dont think ive seen steve so relaxed as much as this podcast. You can tell he really looks up to his sister. and he even looks like hes enjoying letting his sister take the wheel of this podcast :)
It's so sweet 😌 I love this episode so much!! I've heard the clown college story so many times, it's lovely to see the girl behind it all after all these years!!
I love hearing Cindy talking about how great Steve is. And telling him how not messed up he was and how not a loser he was and is. I loved hearing them talking about their shared interests and history. Truly one of the best episodes of WildRide.
Mary I'm also a very good fellow, some say I'm on par with the fellowship of the ring, but my issue is polora big bass polora caught it in the dessert in 1988 big jacked Kinnikinnick caught me and we'll you no the rest.
It's not difficult to treat people with respect when you're living in a state of joy. All it takes is dissolving the ego and suddenly everything and everyone is joyful.
Truly a delightful woman. It’s always fun to see “regular” non-celebrity people on huge podcasts talking so comfortably and openly. Relating and empathizing is great. The future is strange and rad.
It makes me chuckle how "normal" she is and yet her brother is steve-o lol the wild shit she's seen and done and yet she looks so casual and just a typical mom 😂 she's so cool haha
This has easily been one of my favorite episodes of the Podcast. Steve-O and his Sister talking about their Mom and getting through the hard times together... I can very much relate with that. I lost my Mom a few years back and I could not have gone through it without my Brother. Him being there during it all really helped me. Siblings are great!
To have a sibling like Cindy who supported and supports you unconditionally, and proud of your success no matter what you chose to do, must be a great feeling. Seems like such a great woman. And the appreciation he has for her is heart warming.
I agree, this is the best one. She's so awesome and sexy, not in a weird way, but in an intelligent, super mature way with an awesome comedic side. I love her. She needs her own podcast 100%
It’s really appreciative to see her tell Steve how proud she is of him. And how he may perceived himself as “lesser than “but she was always his biggest fan
The discussion about what your mom went through and how you and your sister made me cry. My mom has been on a ventilator for the last 3 weeks from covid. I’m going through a lot of the same things you guys did. Hearing how hard you fought for her and that she made it out of the hospital is inspiring and gave me a sorely needed boost of optimism. Thank you.
1:03:59 She didn't let go until she knew you were going to be okay. So touching. The way Steve-O's sister says it. So touching for me. So touching to see two siblings who really care for one another. I had to youtube clip this part.
This was really good. Steve seems to RARELY ever talk about his sister and when he does it's usually just a quick statement. It was cool to see her for the first time and hear her stories.
This was heartwarming. Cindy reminds me how much I miss talking to my siblings. Steve O is so lucky to have Cindy in his corner. Cindy is a gem. She is a class act as a human being. If only all humans had as much compassion as her. This world would be a much better place.
One of the absolutely best episodes of this podcast and I've seen nearly all of them. Cindy's a great guest and seems like an amazing person aswell. Love hearing more about the details of the family situation, both then and now.
I was raised by my grandmother and we lost her to cancer very quickly. It destroyed my sister and I. Now I'm coming up on 7 years clean and it just makes me wish I had a sister like yours Steve-O, or a brother like you. It hurts so bad every day and I appreciate this window into your family. It makes me feel like i have one, just for a second.
Dude, I feel u 100%. I have no siblings. I'm sober and have been for a while, but it's just taking me a long time to accept how bad I fucked up. My mom cut my throat. You get it, shit is tough, but I AM trying to do things right this time. Steve O's podcast, in general, has been a ray of sunshine in my life. This episode, makes me long for an unconditional bond like this, but it's beautiful to see.
Congratulations on 100 episodes! Keep them coming. I love Cindy. She seems like a very classy lady and great big sis. She doesn't seem to harbor the anger that comes from the years of stress of having an addict sibling. I hope to be like that someday. Thank you for promoting foster care. We are all so proud of you Steve-O!
Half way through and I’m loving this so far. My brother passed away last April 2021 at age 31 and we had a relationship similar to this… unconditional love. I was also the big sis like Cindy in our relationship. Your stories made me smile and remember the good old days with my little bro and first best friend. ❤️
I totally understand what Cindy is saying when she's talking about her mother's age versus her age and surpassing that milestone of active time her Mom had. My paternal Grandfather died at age 63 from an aortic aneurysm, and my Dad is now 70. I remember once my Dad turned 63, I was acutely aware that he was now the age Grandpa was when he passed, and it felt like I, for lack of a better phrase, "held my breath" that whole year. It was a strange feeling for sure. Much love to you and your family, Steve-O!!! 💙
I totally understood this too! My uncle died at 28 of a massive heart attack (he was an alcoholic and smoked like a chimney) and I remember when I turned 29, I thought "I beat my uncle." It was a sobering thought.
I had that experience with my day he was 35 when he died, I am now 37. I have and continue to think wow I made it past him… be it with less mental health problems, or at least better resources to cope with them
Most of the men in my family pass from heart issues in their mid fifties to early sixties and that’s the age group my dad is currently in. Last year my dad ended up in the ER with heart attack symptoms and it scared the sh*t out of me. He was extremely hypertensive. Watching your parents age is so difficult.
Cindy seems like the greatest older sister/sibling ever. These are the best to hear about Steve's past from the people he grew up with. Fascinating to see the love and support
Somehow this weirdly completely made my day. Listening to people looking back and reminiscing is actually so calming. This episode showed me how lacking that can be in culture. This felt like a family get together. The overall feeling that I took away from this show could be described by the phrase "the kids are alright". Beautiful episode. Love ya both. Made my work day much less shit.
Congratulations on your 100th episode!! This is hands down my favorite podcast and I loved this episode. Your sister seems just as awesome as you are but in her own way. She’s extremely articulate and intelligent. And you can tell she’s just so proud of you.
You can immediately tell how much they love each other and mess with each other from the get go. Steve-O knows Cindy doesn’t like her full name and she knows what embarrasses him. This podcast has been wonderful.
Seems like Steve-O has a great relationship with his sister & it sounds like she's a pretty big reason why we get/got to see all the crazy shit Steve-O does/did!
The most encouraging, warm and endearing and humbling podcast to date! Such a beautiful connection you have with your sissy! It's pretty inspiring and empowering to reconnect with family! Thanks for doing this and sharing the awesome memories and history of your family!
Cindy is now my favorite guest. What a great GREAT episode. She's amazing and so are you! I've been a fan since your early MTV days and it's so beautiful to see where you are now. Congratulations on 100 episodes! Can't wait to stick around for many many more.
Every podcast I keep saying to myself this is the best one yet, what an amazing story you guys told. The rainbows after snorting the ashes... just beautiful. Thank you
Epic podcast. all they've been through, they're still standing and talking to each other. Weird but his sis seems more like his dad and Steve-o seems more like his what his mom must have been like. hey, we wanna see these two talking 30 yrs from now!
Glad you had your sister on your show. Amazing background stories, and certainly impressed with your sister's unwavering support from day one. You have been truly blessed.
I just lost a loved one to cancer at 19 and I'm being torn apart inside. This was the realest and honestly the best hour of my life this whole week.. thank you so much...
You can tell steve really looks up to her. And cares for her deeply. Great to see. Ive seen her pop up here in there in random footage idk, and shes always seemed confident and intelligent like she does now. Shes great!
I've listened/watched quite a few of your podcasts and this one is hands down the best one of all. So sincere. So honest. Your sister is incredible. Not that you don't know that already. Keep it up!
Cindy seems like a very nice person and her and Steve-O have a great relationship. You can tell how much they care about each other just by how they look at each other. Great episode!
What a great relationship they have. They both come across as such great people who've had each other's backs throughout their life which is a really special thing to have with your sibling, something I've never had :(
Wow. Steve and Cindy are an incredible team and I’m glad they were able to rely on each other during various life challenges. I wish I had that with my sibling.
I loved it when she said in reference to the crazy things that Steve-O does “that’s the O part”. Steve-O is an entertainer. Steven Glover is just a stand-up guy who loves and supports his family 💕 Love them both!!
I’m 38min in and have started to get emotional. Damn they are such amazing siblings. The way he looks at her, and the the loving way she talks about him like he is one of the most amazing people on the planet and always lifted up, helped him and encouraged him. Beyond wholesome
Loved this podcast. Steve your sister is amazing. Thank you for being a foster parent and for putting the message out about the shortage for foster parents. **Steve you're awesome too - but sister wins this. lol
I would love to hear more about your sisters foster mom journey. The way your sister looks at you can just feel the love and how proud she is of you Steve. You’re lucky to have such a loving supportive sister. I really enjoyed this episode and don’t know how I missed the original post date but thanks for sharing!
What a lovely sibling relationship SteveO and Cindy have ❤️❤️❤️ a few times they brought me to tears talking about their life and mother. I love how much she is so proud and happy for her brother, and WOW she sounds like an amazing woman herself!!! No lie, I was driving around while listening to this episode, and when SteveO was telling the Cheetos joke, a semi was driving past with the Cheetos Cheetah plastered on the side of the truck 😳
Talking about loosing your mom was so heartbreaking & felt so familiar to my mom & my situation..i still believe loosing a parent is one of the most painful experiences ever & literally changes your life to go thru it. If you’re reading this & your parents are still alive, appreciate them, ask questions now before its too late & try to prepare yourself for the day that it happens
What a deep revealing conversation , dude im amazed of how strong Steve O is , like his sister is so insightful with the details kind of give us an idea that although they grew up wealthy they did deal with some hard times, shot to Steve O Brazil loves you , we know you lived there and for us you are a percentage Brazilian.
I love their relationship and especially love her description of how adorable and charming Steve-O’s is during the story about their mom in the nursing home. There’s just something so sweet in this.
So glad they have eachother. I really love his sister. Loved how she protected Steve. I'm an only child, had to fight the bullies myself, & my parents was divorced. My Dad died from a brain bled & I had no one to help me get through it. It sucked & I tell my Mom, 20 years later, how I felt when dad died. I have no one to lean on if she passes away & it's going to suck. I tell her now w/my health problems I might go before she does & it upsets her to here me say that. So I've stopped for her sake bc she tells me it would break her heart if something happened to me. Glad I had 3 kids so they can lean on eachother when I go see the lord.
Dang man…This was the first ride where I kept tearing up. You guys talking about your mother really reached home man. I could see how hard it was to talk about it. My mother also had an aneurysm but unfortunately was instant. I’m am only child with no one to really talk to or to understand what I go through. I still have her ashes in the closet too not sure what to do with them. But thanks so much for your content man ✊ We’re all moved
Hey man, same here, my mom passed 6 months ago after having a brain hemorrhage and stroke, she fought and stayed alive for 2 and a half months in the hospital until she left, she had told me years ago that she wanted her ashes to be spread on a mountain, so I'm waiting until her birthday 5/23, when the snow melts, to make the trip up a mountain and spread her ashes back to the earth, and that'll be that, full circle Stay up man, I feel what you're going through 👊✌
@@FifthCornerRecords I’m truly sorry to hear man. That sounds so beautiful what your doing with her ashes. Here for ya to talk whenever! Hope you stay strong too 🙏
Cindy was my Government/Econ teacher in high school. Honestly one of the coolest teachers I ever had. Much love for her.
Cool!
How cool!
That’s awesome!!!
She seems so cool. But reasonable, n intelligent.
Did you get to meet Steve-O after winter break or were you one of the cool kids who skipped lol
The way that steve still looks at cindy like shes his hero is some heartwarming wholesomeness that the world needs more of currently.

It's not difficult to treat people with respect when you're living in a state of joy. All it takes is dissolving the ego and suddenly everything and everyone is joyful.
I was thinking the same about Steve-O’s mature way of handling that. I would have been more like the sister.

It’s amazing that both of these voices come from the same genes.

Hey man, same here, my mom passed 6 months ago after having a brain hemorrhage and stroke, she fought and stayed alive for 2 and a half months in the hospital until she left, she had told me years ago that she wanted her ashes to be spread on a mountain, so I'm waiting until her birthday 5/23, when the snow melts, to make the trip up a mountain and spread her ashes back to the earth, and that'll be that, full circle
Stay up man, I feel what you're going through 👊✌
@@FifthCornerRecords I’m truly sorry to hear man. That sounds so beautiful what your doing with her ashes. Here for ya to talk whenever! Hope you stay strong too 🙏
Love this! I love your sister. Steve, you are blessed to have such a great family. 🥰
This episode just flat out made me smile!!! Yeah dude!!
