The Rogue/Storm combo to get all the benefits from Rogue's events is actually easier than you lay out. Storm can get Aerial from her cape, meaning if Rogue touches Storm she gains Aerial and Stalwart, and Hurricane can give her Retaliate.

I never play solo. But, admittedly, the sweet-spot feels like 2-player. I love the Star Lord + Quicksilver idea! Recently, I played my She Hulk Justice (Heal Tank) deck with a Drax Protection deck. Justice + Protection? These two are a blender together.
My recent favorite pair is Magik and Colossus, who I dubbed the Status Twins. Between the 2 they are able to reliably apply stun & confuse nearly every turn. It works well with Colossus who can safely flip each turn, and also preserve tough status. Usually Magik in justice and Colossus in leadership or aggression.
Cable is a real beast, no joke. Even true solo, he just has the tools to clean up almost any mess you get into. Great hero and he works even better when he's helping other heroes power up.
Nice job for suggesting great combos for me and my GF to try out. I read War Machine and Psyloche synergize really well with shoulder cannon and float like a butterfly.
Star-Lord! Woo! Is he still my favourite? Probably! But Cable and Psylocke are hitting the table more often right now. Love seeing Cable here too - how could he not be? 😁
Loving the 2 handed content from you and VillainTheory! Solo is cool but this game really shines with more heroes imo.
I had fun with Iceman+Cyclops and Rouge+Storm, I'll have to check out Cable+SP//dr this weekend!
I just finished the AoA campaign with Cyclops and Cable both in Leadership (inspired by your Father's Day team up) and it was great. Usually went Build Support first to grab Uncanny X-Force, and then Cable's side controlled the board while Cyclops handled the missions.
Plus, very thematic to have the leaders of X-Men and X-Force defeat Apocalypse.
A little expensive, but it might be worth using Shatterstar for that Vision/Nova combo as well so you can grab minions that engage Nova. I find it especially helpful for tough minions or minions with a little more health so you can get them into Nova's kill range.

That storm combo is awesome!
I think Cable may be the ultimate support. I really like War Machine, but in general he's just really bad. Had my son play support Cable with War Machine, and he was actually pretty solid with the accelerated set-up which always hurts him so bad.
I really like any mutants who like to flip, especially in 3 player games where you can be a bit more cavalier about it. One we've done a few times is someone runs Danger Room, Moira, X-Bunker, etc, and everyone runs all the training upgrades for their aspect, and a fair number of those cards can be triggered by any player, so everyone can pump up their allies. Then the justice and aggression players can run Team Strike and Mutant Peacekeepers for some insane turns, especially if you add in a leadership Cyclops!
I play 75% of my games with a friend, so I really appreciate this video. Can't wait to try the Iceman/Cyclops combo.
Miles and psylocke! Her confusing the enemy and miles stunning them makes miles incredible!
Love Cable
My partner had a lot of fun with a combo of Quicksilver leadership sidekick deck (I think it was one of yours?) and X-23 in justice, against Unus! Between all the readying and stacked allies out on the table, it was a very fun game. You can play upgrades on each others allies to help pump them up and Unus had no allies to take out since the goal is to not really chump block- took him down fairly quickly!
Buff and ready is my favorite MP combo.
Similar concept to SL & QS, but it's not limited to them.
Any hero with an L deck running Research Team and Mirale Boost and combined with any hero that can ready a lot.
Captain Marvel & She-Hulk is my classic favorite with this combo.

Good couple you chose. Quicksilver is one of my favourite heroes too: PoolSilver is amazingly fun to play. I prefer solo play vs two handed 'cause is more challenging. Two handed games have too much interactions between heroes so that the game become too easy compared to solo plays.
Just wanted to shout out a combo I blundered into; Rogue and Cyclops. Rogue's Touched can easily just switch on Cyclops' Optic Blast from the get go.

I was just thinking about this so the timing is amazing.
I am useing Sp//dr (protection) and Iornheart (justice) together. Still tweaking it but I enjoy using them.

I don t play 2 handed or multiplayer but i would really love to see a Venom / Psylock Confusion Lock Butterfly or maybe a Cyclops / Captain america allies deck. Wouldnt mind a Wolverine / Weapon 23 Autodamage Galore theme deck

I like what you were saying about using Storm and Rogue together. However, doesn't Clear skies give Stalwart to all characters? So Rogue still wouldn't be able to stun an enemy.

8:27 if clear skies is in play how could she stun an enemy? With clear skies everyone is stalwart right?
Good point - someone else pointed out that you can put touched on Storm after she has her cape in play to pull it off!
