great ideas, thank you! did you have a designated table in your room for small groups? my room is tiny and we don't have a specific spot for small groups so I either float around the room with my materials or take over the table game table. Do you have any ideas?
I have always done small groups as a separate time of the day, like large group. I don't try and do it during choice time. If it is an art project, we will do it in the art center, if it is a game, we will do it at the toys and games center etc. so I don't have a designated small group table.
I like the stick letters alphabet book idea! We made the stick letters activity in the fall...wish I would have thought to take photos of them making the stick letters! (Prob didn't help I had someone observing me that day 😄)
