Absolutely love what you said about LinkedIn. Networking is soooo important and it has granted me access to spaces I would not normally get access to as an undergrad student. I have the privilege of having mentors in and outside my field, i.e. tech, who are doing amazing work and I think this attests to what you said about having a sound reason to form a connection with someone on LinkedIn. I am published researcher, an award winning mentor, a fellow for an American School exchange programme and none of this would have happened without LinkedIn. So to any student reading this, please take initiative, network and drive your career!

And also, how do you get speaking opportunities at schools?
Hey, so I'm the person asked about that question and if I can answer as well, personally I go an reach out to these schools and bring a drafted proposal to the principal and I present my idea to them and that's how I've started my finance project anyway I also wanna know how Lesego does it though
I sent emails to a bunch of schools that included a brief of what I wanted to do along with a business proposal attached and I kept following up. Connections also help. I made sure that the schools I reached out to had buy in so that schools bought my credibility 🙏🏽♥️
I notice on LinkedIn you've been getting some speaking gigs ..♥♥ How long did it take you to build presence on LinkedIn?
I’ve been using LinkedIn since 2020 but actively using it after I passed APC because I needed to find a job 😂 but then I started posting some inspirational content and people found it relatable. My reach only increase from December of last year so still fairly taken aback by the growth 🌸
