Fantastic first video!! Great pacing, great narrative! Your voice sounded spectacular, and it was shot beautifully! Hope you really keep going and create a whole arsenal of historic game guns like this!

I would put a Raspberry Pi in there and add all of the sound effects from quake 3 like "quad damage", "denied", "humiliation" , the firing sound from the RL, you have enough space in there to add a fairly big sub woofer and a big battery...
In some of my later projects I planned some built in microcontrollers, with some fancy features. This rocket launcher were my second 1:1 gun replica, so the focus were "only" on making, painting, and testing different techniques :)

Railgun is nice, but I'd think the ASMD Shock Rifle is more interesting. The UT99 may be a bit simple by todays standards, but the UT4 model is awesome. Very much based on the 99 version but modern at the same time. Probably kinda hard to get a hold of with the game being abandoned though.
@@theshinken hehe shock rifle sounds also good indeed. As long as you create more weapons and videos, I will be happy no matter what weapons you choose! Good luck!

That's correct! I spent countless hours with UT '99 back then, so it was a real nostalgic trip making the Flak Cannon.
