Man, every time I think I'm going to get to see more than two linked turns, you switch camera angles or skid your body on the ground without the edges engaged. What a bummer, only one guy in the middle of the film links 5 or six turns without going straight legged and stiff as a bread stick, so at least I can say "thank you" for that. I also see that more riding toes to the nose, and that is good too. I know you guys can do it, so please worry less about the cinematography, focus on capturing footage of linking multiple turns, using the strength of your core and leg muscles instead of the strength of your jacket's fibers. Mahalo and Aloha from a lifetime Hawaiian Surfer of both Ocean and Earth.
r a d a i r, Brammer, Sunapee . Not my best (hey, I was 55, and not 'in shape,' so.. Go ahead, tell me I Suck, I'm good with that, ..Somewhat ) . Yes, I'm mostly on R/A freeride boards that're vintage, and the Burton 'carver' is OLD & soft, too (actually, My first ride on it). Fine; whatever. We've got the cobwebs outa the way, then. "PSR"
this video is really good. been watching swoard videos in the last, mmm... what is it, 10 years? I only wish I could find such totally free and perfectly groomed slopes. At what time you guys go up there? at 6 in the morning? :)
I LOVE the segment, of (on the video clock) between 1:30 and 1:39. THIS IS EXACTLY what I told Brian, Neville and Todd was 'THE THING' about Hardboot Riding that made it better-than Softboots, in Turns. (not, not so, in Jibs! i can attest, Jibs are Softboot stuff!). Why? Pressure Management AS THE BOARDS FLEXES IN A CARVE!!! Without such (as many, way-too-many) Softboot carvers are just going at 60% of ANY board's POTENTIAL to Arc a Line. Oh, any Most Soft-booters have NO CLUE on Highback angles, nor 'wings' let-along a Top/Third strap. It's SAD to see AASI Devo MY Sport (hey! I was HERE B4 YOU, unless YOU started B4 '75,. GOT THAT?) into the Burton-mold of Jib (DONNA WTH?! Really? and do YOU JIB? IDTS) being 'the thing' to Promote. But, then-again, IF 'The OPEN' had lasted only 2 more years.... NONETHELESS, I'll be at S-6, for the 40th, with my Backhill I Raced Upon, then (still got the bib, Jacket, & pants, too!). 1982 was the Start of Carving Snowboards on MAN MADE Snow. (albeit, using 'Skegs'). I was there, am still Here. I watched ya'll Evolve before my eyes, and loved most every minute of it in it's PROGRESSION. Carry-On, despite Donna, please. "PSR"
1) find hella steep groomer run. 2) fall on side with arm up, on purpose of course. 3) catch edge & repeat on other side. Note: last step optional, you can just do a 3/4 turn and come to a dead stop. finally; you can use this technique to justify buying $3000 snowboard setups.
merci frangin
Il nous reste plus qu'à faire des videos dignent de ca et de notre niveau pour montrer de quoi nous sommes capables
Best carving video I've ever seen so far.

3:45 started music is NightCall (Cliff Martinez).
It's actually by Kavinsky, NightCall that is.
The song preceding it was Netherworld by LSG, a classic. Can't remember which mix it was though.
well done....
amazing
SUPER!!!

I have had to remove music on request from youtube to continue to broadcast the video as blocked worldwide since 2 years ago ;(
