    I just finished my d series head. Mirror polished exaust and golf dimples intake
    Minor downside of doing it myself, it took 2 weeks lol

    If you hit the valve seals with a blow torch for a few seconds you can pull them off with pliers in most cases.

    Phong! Use a torch and heat the individual seal up then I use spark plug plierswith rubber ends you can get at any local parts store. Will take you less then 5 minutes to do the whole head

    I found some long nose pliers that are curved on the end and realy grippy they work really well on honda stem seals grab the from the side and yank them out

    I just pulled the valve seals out with pliers. Took 30 seconds. Maybe harder to remove on j series compared to k

      Because a few reasons, people hating on phongs choices to be NA and stay different. He’s a bit more reserved so people are more judging of someone when they talk less they assume more about them. Also I feel it’s because people are racist too, not saying anybody here is ofc ; he’s a cool guy and deserves more spotlight tbh

    well we know the original J sat on limiter and on an insane 2step tune for over 5 min. this thing should breath so good, good to see more content from you

      Yeah, those Phong built heads were the difference maker in the Bat Rod's winning performance. Also may be the reason the boost kicked in so early when that motor was on the hub dyno. Phong built heads usually go on All Motor setups, not boosted ones.

    Hello, I checked all Junk yard J series heads, Used water and put sparkplug in, checked all the valve have weeping water. Do you after 150K mile, all the valve seat is not round anymore? even lapping won't fix that?

      @@402motorsports4 I lapped the valves in a k24 out of a crv with 160k miles on it and the contact on the valve was very large and high when I was done lapping. Maybe gonna need to cut new angles into the seat?
