I have a brain Aneurysm. My surgery was on July 1st. Unfortunately the Aneurysm couldn't be treated. Thanks God still 5 mm. And has not ruptured. Now I have to consider one of these options. My Mom had an stroke, she had 4 Aneurysm back in 2003. She got the clipping surgery. They put 3 clips on her brain. Now she is 64 years old living her live.
Good to know this type of treatment is available. My mum died from an aneurysm 25 years ago and my dad had one in 2015 but survived. I expect as both my parents had them there is a good chance I will too.
I've just been diagnosed with a brain aneurysm and this treatment at 1:03 has been recommended by my neurologist. Thank you for the detailed graphics that explain the procedure and the comforting words at the end of the video.
Thank you for this informative video. I shared it with my mother whom is scheduled to undergo procedure. My mom is now confident and knowledgeable in her treatment. Due to your comprehensive explanation in simple terminology. You are much appreciated !
My mother was rushed in this hospital the 30th of april. She underwent surgery, and still has no bone flap as they are still waiting for her brain to decompress. She's till unresponsive at this time. I hope my momma will still be able to get back to her normal life. Im so thankful to God, for blessing doctors who did her surgery. 🙏🙏🥺 i hope she recover soon
She is still in the nursing home. She can open her eyes but she still doesn't show any response. She cannot talk and she cannot follow commands. Pls pray for my mom
My father had an aneurysm this summer when we were on vacation in malaysia. He had a stroke and we went to a hospital. After tons of missdiagnosis we were able to travel back to sweden several weeks later. The doctors in asia gave him a 20% survival rate. However they didnt perform this surgery. Back in sweden they dis this and just hours later he was back to normal. Home
I'm still confused about the risks. To me the coils sounded good but i seen what happens when they don't work. That's the scary thing for me. Why couldn't you just use the tube thing ?

The body covers the coil with epithelium (tissue which lines openings of the body). After that, the material no longer has contact with the blood stream. Also platinum is a safe metal for implants. It's an amazing procedure.
I had a AVM (Arteriovenous malformations) which mean bleeding my brain. The Doctor try go up my brain using catheterization but he couldn't so he put it and the left brain for 1:20 hour. The other doctor. It took 10 hours and 5 hours. Total 15 hours or my brain. This is 13 years ago when I had a stroke.

If internal elastic lamina can't restore its elasticity and flexibility, it's impossible to really cure brain aneurysm. Due to calcified brain artery, aneurysm does generate. In other words, those AGEs (advanced glycation endproducts), MG (methylglyoxal), etc. should be cleared from internal elastic lamina. God's mercy nano-medication should be the last-ditch treatment for brain aneurysms. All glory belongs to God !

Can i ask, what is the best treatment for a giant aneurysm, is it coiling or clipping? Thanks.
Coiling is really good treatment, but only in case of small aneurysm. If we talk about giant aneurysm, clipping is better.
Coiling.

wait they send platinum coils onto the aneurysm? is that safe? i mean what if the coils dissolve and the contents of the metals gets into the blood?
That's why they use platinum. Because it doesn't disolve or react with anything in the body
The body covers the coil with epithelium (tissue which lines openings of the body). After that, the material no longer has contact with the blood stream. Also platinum is a safe metal for implants. It's an amazing procedure.
