I fell in love with the T7i when I first saw a review on it. But the price point got to me lol I'd been deciding between these two... but the T7i keeps calling my name.

This is honestly a great quality camera for beginners with DSLRs. I learned how to use it super easily and the picture quality is great!! The app however is pretty crappy.

The T6i and T7i are both amazing cameras and the T6i is more than plenty for most people's needs. However, it seems to me that if you're gonna shell out that much money for a T6i, you might as well spend a little more and get the newer model. Awesome video too, btw. How do you not have more subscribers? I just ran across your channel today...
I wish the t7i's lens had a smaller aperture buy it also has a bigger iso
I have a t6i, have had a t5i, and have rented the t7i, and the low light on the t7i is awesomely better. I had keeper photos on a recent trip where the t6i would have failed miserably. The digic7 processor appears to be providing a lot less noise in low light images.

Maggie Bear The 80D. It has a headphone jack for a microphone. But not to forget the price difference!
The 80D is much heavier, weather-sealed, and suited for more videographers since it has a headphone jack like he^ said. Those are the main differences. Image quality should be about the same.

I had a Canon SL3 with the 45 point focus system and I couldn't get it to focus well. So I doubled down and got another one and it was the same way. I sold them both and am very happy with my T6i.

Two heart attacks got me retired from the media industry when i was at my best as a tv ads director, 3d animator, postproducer, VFX supervisor, musician, voice talent and DVD author 15 years ago. I lost everything. I even lost my wife and 4 children. I will be 50 years old this year and diabetes is consuming me very fast now. I don't wanna die without making my own movie. Hey TbonesTech, I watch all your videos and you have taught me so much. I don't want to beg like everyone else in this comment section so I am going to be honest. I love photography. The only problem is I don't have a camera...This would solve all my issues and give me a great way to start. I want the T7i as my next camera. I have outgrown my 100d(SL1) Can you tell us more about the differences between the new and the old 18-55mm kit lens? Apart from the slightly slower maximum aperture. This is the first I have heard that it has been updated!
