I could listen to Doug talk all day, which is why the premature ending of this documentary is frustrating to say the least. Where's the rest of it?

"Imaginative English film director Stanley Kubrick..."?! Kubrick was American and was raised in the The Bronx in New York. When a documentary makes such a basic error in the first few minutes, it loses me.

You know what Douglas Trumbull should make an attraction ride at Universal Studios Hollywood like Star Trek The Ride Attraction Not The Simpsons Ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At seventeen minutes Doug talked about how the Imax 3D and binaural sound will allow a shorter experience, due to their impact. I just watched Man of Steel in 3D, and felt a bit beat up by it's length, and that was due to the scale of the film. The most dramatic scene in Man of Steel, (for me) was the tornado sequence. Extraordinary. I might mention Diane Lane plays an older character, but there's a shot of her in the back seat where she just hammers her glamor right at you...very short.

I thought it was a film 3-D was used well in Man of Steel . I was following him and his cinematography of how films should had been and the studios don't like having people tell them how things should be , they ditched his idea and down sized theaters all to make more money .

First, I check my own films here on youtube, and then see how deep Cameron went today, then top off with some Film Noir scenes, maybe some boxer (dog) videos, but then I always finish up with some Doug Trumball.

That was quite interesting how he hooked up the audience of his test film to see if they simulate the human brain and it did . Makes you wonder what they do with video games .

You see the way the "audience" was throwing their hands up and covering their faces in teh Luxor scene? I can just imagine some sort of advertising director at that filming "OK, now let's see some ACTION people! You're traveling in a space ship and you're about to HIT A WALL! Cover you face!!" or some other stupid crap. It's so forced. It's so sad.

This would be much more impressive if it didn’t look like it was shot through a pair of pantyhose.
