You are reading a lot in previous Leinster Toulouse semi finals. Maybe not paying enough attention to the specific circumstances : all semi finals played in Dublin, extra time against munster with 6 days turnaround, 2 yellow cards, early injury forcing Dupont to play 10, etc., difficult position in the Top 14 preventing any squad rotation, etc.. But in any case, this is the first time Leinster will play a Toulouse that are top seed, best attack averaging more than6 tries, etc. You’re fantasising about Gibson Park tearing apart Toulouse defence, most neutrals would consider Dupont picking apart Leinster new rush defensive system to be more likely. Seems as difficult as ever for Irish fans to get rid of the arrogance that been their hallmark for some years - even though their team are fast becoming the new Clermont
Leinster have put 40 points on them both times. Last year all we heard from the Toulouse camp was how they were rested and fully fresh for the game unlike last year, and they took an even better thumping then last year. Leinster are a better team, and way more homegrown than Manchester City Toulouse. Not sure how many of that Toulouse 23 came through the Toulouse academy, probably less than 5 per cent. @@eoinh3816 leinster inability to accept Ross Byrne isn't a top quality out half is really hurting there brand and has cost them atleast two major trophies! You need a proper boss of a 10 when it comes to finals rugby he just isn't it!
