Iroh deserves a spin-off about his own life, from his time as General, to his son's death, to his time in prison and being at the spirit world, there's more than enough story to be exploited
Not to mention that he is arguably the most beloved character of the show.
They should do a movie or something off the Netflix series that would be awesome!!! ❤️
My wish for the live action is an episode purely about the 600 day siege of Ba Sing Se. It would provide crucial Iroh backstory and give us a full-scale live action battle.

Not exactly an inspiring quote per say, but a powerful line that just shows lengths of how much Iroh truly cares for the people he loves. He doesn't turn to anger whenever they make mistakes. Instead, he is sad for them and will most likely attempt to help them correct those mistakes however he can, even if it seems hopeless like with Zuko when he betrayed him at the end of Book 2.
The unconditional forgiveness here is why Iroh is the best!

Iroh reminds me of a mixture of Yoda and how Darth Vader could have turned out had he lived. Or maybe that’s Zuko. I think Zuko had to betray him and experience the life he’d been wanting to realize that he had made a mistake and that his destiny didn’t lie with his father and tirany.

I couldn't make it through this list without crying. Iroh and his voice actor Mako were both incredibly great and I miss them dearly.
Iroh is easily one of the greatest characters in Avatar. Such rich history with his character and nobility with his wisdom( never limited to just firenation) but for all to learn from.
The wonderful life of Mako we enjoyed; From Aku the master of Darkness to Iroh, the master of Tea and Wisdom. We just love him so much!

Why did this pop up after I was researching Mako Iwamatsu? I miss Uncle Iroh.
Probably because Mako was the first voice actor for Iroh. So all the algorithms that TH-cam uses to tailor their recommendations would’ve picked up on your research and made the recommendations based on that.
