@@javi_4evaYou can get a 2022-2023 (Still brand new unsold). 300HP/295TQ EA888 gen 4 engine from MK8 Golf R. VW DQ381 7-Speed DSG, 4Motion and same exact steering box as found in MK8 GTI/Golf R. Stock performance: 0-60 4.7 seconds, quarter mile: 13.2 seconds @103MPH. You don’t need EU market Arteon R. We already get it here. Plus you can do a stage 1 mod and be at nearly the same power as the car in the video.

Is it an actual awd car or is it just some sort of diff that sends a bit of power to the rear wheels when taking off the line ?
It’s an AWD car mate. But there are some other tools which can make you decide how much power you want to each diff, brakes, throttle and some other things. It’s called Haldex Controller. It’s plug & play 🙂
@@vwarteon68 so it's FWD, abd the haldex sends some power to the back when front is losing traction, it's not like a subie or an evo awd where it's permanently available
@@riadbenkabba8441 No. the 4motion is always active. If you want to play with the settings and make it FWD or RWD car, you can buy the Haldex Controller.
On all MQB (modular transverse toolkit) models with the 4MOTION all-wheel drive system, power is distributed between front and rear axles on an infinitely variable basis by a multi-plate clutch. Normally, power is mainly transmitted to the front axle, which saves energy. However, in the event of an impending loss of traction, the rear axle is activated in a fraction of a second. This is why 4MOTION is considered to be a permanently engaged four-wheel-drive system. The distribution of power to all four wheels becomes active before wheelspin occurs. A loss of traction is therefore virtually excluded. There is no fixed distribution of power. Power distribution is continuously adjusted to actual driving conditions. However, should any wheel slip, power is immediately transmitted to the wheels where it is needed.
Arteon R does not use Haldex!!!!😂 it uses the same vectoring torque AWD system as found in MK8 Golf R. Haldex (4Motion) is offered in standard Arteons

Where did you get your exhaust tips and rear diffuser? as that isn’t stock
It is original. Exhaust tips comes from the Arteon R. Rear diffuser is from Maxton Pro Street.
I just purchased an r line arteon 2019 and it doesn’t have those tips. I’ve only seen 2021 and above have those tips

Yeah here in the US just bought a 2023 SEL Premium R-Line and it doesn’t have the exhaust tips. I don’t think any here have those tips. I don’t care much for it as I won’t have to polish all the exhaust fume particles since it has a fake exhaust tip but those do look really nice though I’m not gonna lie. Beautiful car! Definitely nicest Arteon I have seen.
@@Jenny_Thalia those tips are not fake. It’s completely open and welded to Milltek cat-back.
If this front-wheel drive it’s makes no sense 😢 stock a5 will better
It’s awd with a rear diff. So it has no problem oversteering
@@PapiAndrey and even then, A5 is still a worse choice. S5 would be the only option for a 5 series over this.
@@ojdidit84 Debatable. As far as the awd system, the A5’s is better and you can make it completely rwd in less than an hour.
Engine is the same if you get one with the gen 4 ea888.

@@PapiAndrey Oh, the A4 and higher Audi's AWD is miles and away better than VW's 4Motion AWD. No debating there. But if you're looking for an actual performance oriented car, just as I mentioned above, neither the Arteon nor the normal A series should be considered. You lose out on DCC/performance oriented options & power plants. And that's not even considering that the A4/5 aren't even in the same size class as the Arteon which makes the comparison pointless anyway.
When it comes to choosing between an Arteon and an A4/5, I'm taking the Arteon any day as a mid-range powered, spacious highway cruising touring car (what the car actually is) over the others . If I want an actual performance oriented car, just like you, I wouldn't choose any of them.
@@ojdidit84 Audi’s AWD (Quattro system) is the best. No need to debate about that. But you can’t just compare basic “A5” with an Arteon (R). The only Audi i would take above this Arteon would be the A7 from 2018+. The Arteon has already aggressive and sportive look and the interior looks so good
