@ 6:50. That’s not a tram OR a trolley bus. It’s a bus. Pure and simply. A TROLLY BUS is a full sized bus that operates via overhead wires (like a tram) so is run on electric but can move freely anywhere on the road, has rubber tyres and round other cars and doesn’t use metal tram tracks. Look it up.
I would wish for a tram system rather than the current LRT too. But Sg lay its power cables, data cables, water pipes underground. A lot of digging is needed to move these cables and pipes away from underneath the roads so that maintenance will not affect the tram rails that are on the roads. Problem with the BPLRT is that it is added later after the town is built. Which explains the twist and turns, ups and downs that give passengers motion sickness. Building LRT above ground level is also due to space constraints. We just do not have that luxury of land.
Singapore definitely need trams. There are places where people wanna go but bus service is unjustified and MRT is too expensive and unneeded. We need a inbetween. (and not LRT because waste of money)
I'm speculating that CRL1 will have an additional station between Defu and Tampines North to serve the redeveloping PLAB. Also to connect with this "possible" tram rail.
I think it will be so inspiring. Wait, a tram? But it is not possible in Singapore unless LTA says so. Is this an animated train? Or real. Can't wait to watch tonight.
Exactly. 100%. Said the same above. A trolley bus is a hybrid between bus and tram. Doesn’t use tram tracks but uses the same overhead electrical wires and connectors as a tram but is like a bus on rubber tyres and can move anywhere on a road round obstacles as long as the over head wires are there.
I don't think there will be Trams made By LTA. It will be impossible because it may cause more traffic jams if trams are on road. This means trams will never come. I meant the rail.
I personally feel it may be impossible because of traffic congestion, but in some countries, roads converted to trams are either downsized the number of lanes on the roads or pedestrianise the entire street, which it might help for LTA when it comes to achieving car-lite estates. Personally myself having visited in countries with trams, I do see certain street which was once used by motor vehicles are now pedestrianised with the introduction of trams.
Bus 169 too many DD due to replace bendy bus with DD bus. They don't want to reinvent the system. can consider put 169 DD on bus 860 as I feel it covers more residential than bus 169.. 169 second floor mostly empty

Tiny fishing village to a country with tons of MRT lines

really?
I feel an additional station at PLAB will be needed
Definitely. The area is HUGE. As big as Changi Airport. A tram line is needed and a MRT station. @@aehighfmcolinchin
I think tram is good and convenient but compared to MRTs it quite slow
I think it will be so inspiring.

Or real. Can't wait to watch tonight.
you will find out if you watch the whole video
How did you make the train animation? can you tell me how to make it?
Oh, I never know that Singapore have this before
I preferred Singapore to have tram cuz is Low-floor & accessibility
Do you know that I saw the R151 train testing on Tuas Link to Tuas West Road. I am not sure when it will enter service.
really? you saw in your own eyes?
I think it would be a amazing video
HECKER FROM DISCORD

Hopefully a new tram will be built
oh hopefully it will
That's not a Trolley Bus. A real Trolleybus has a trolley pole and a dual overhead wire.

It more like a minibus
They will build the universal studios Singapore tram lines

Tram travels on roads
@@aehighfmcolinchin Yes. In Hong Kong and Croydon in London, they have trams on road. But in Singapore, it is a bad idea.
If car drivers in SG complained about our bendy buses, i doubt we would ever have Trams.
@@Irfan_TheFNFVoidFan well in the video, theres proof that trams will be build in sg in the future

If i established best metro system, south east asia award goes to Singapore
Isn't the jurong region line a new lrt line correct me if I'm wrong
A while back, it was announced as a proper MRT Line. Construction of the stations should be underway soon, or has most likely started by now.
It's no longer an LRT.
@@aehighfmcolinchin yes. but still an LRT train
Bus 39 needs DD. Actually bus 68 no need DD but hope it could cover Abit of kaki Bukit to relieve bus 58.. they don't want give 39 DD cos of 85..

Maybe there’s a possibility of having a BRT system ?
possible but unlikely
