The feeling you had when you saw the classic lego space box with toys r us price tag, i had that exact same feeling when i bought in 2014 not 1 but 2 lego classic 7722 train! I remember waking up one 1986 morning with that 7722 near our bed.. that box! OMG!! I had it and played with it as a child but lost the box when we moved. Good ebay deals came up so i grabbed them, yes 2 of them! Incidentally, u also bought them as shown in this haul.

We used to call that place We 'B' Toys when I was a kid, and when I recently got a trove of old, boxed toys with those stickers it brought back memories of walking through those big shops. You have inspired me to go through boxes and boxes of Lego sets from 1985-1992 that I saved that were my little brother's. He died at age 11 in 1992, but had ALL of the pirate ships and pirate island series from those years. He also had the space station and the castles too. All the sets are perfect and complete with boxes, instructions, catalogs, etc. I am not sure what to do with them, but it would be neat to look through them all!!!
Gosh, I'm only 16 and some of this stuff brings back memories. I miss early 2000's LEGO sets.

The way that light and sound set is packaged is just really aesthetically pleasing for some reason.

I like Bricklink hauls from Jang because they lead to MOCs and classic space builds! Personally tho, I think that one box should not have been used to package that train set. Reusing boxes is great, but if there were holes in that box, which is very likely, parts of your train could have fallen out! Sure hope it works out and nothing is missing, Jang! :D

I know what you mean with the nostalgia. That is the main reason I buy LEGO. To relive that awesome feeling from when I was a kid and got a set. To get an old set from my childhood just makes my heart go kaboom. Great video as always man!
Love, love, love those catalogue videos! Looks like you got some 90s era ones, a lot of my honest-to-goodness-was-actually-there-as-a-kid Lego nostalgia comes from that era so I can't wait for videos of them!
I know exactly how you feel. When I first got Lego ninjago 3 years ago it felt magical and now buying them that feeling comes back and hits me hard and I'm filled with so much joy I almost want to cry.
This brought back memories. My kids inherited my Lego but the manuals are all gone so I don't even remember what the stuff were supposed to be. I have hordes of Lego that dates back to the "yellow" knight castle (1978) and up to the mid/late 90's.
Ooh...you got that light up spaceship too...mine came opened without the inner tray...did an inventory and went crap...this looks brand new! It has been stashed for a very very special rainy day.

Growing up in the sticks, I saw a Toys-R-Us for the first time when I was 12, thought I had died and gone to heaven.
This is exactly why I only order new sets from Amazon because I don't really want to play with old, tattered lego parts from other people, and God knows what they've done with them! Plus, it feels pleasant to cut open a lego box, dump out the contents, open the bags and feel and examine the fresh, new pieces.

Those idea books with sticker sheets gave me lovey dovey feelings too! I remember I used to be so much happier and positive that I could build everything in those books with my parts.

If you want sticker, you can also buy a printer and some sticker paper. I know it would not be the orginal sticker, but if one goes wrong or is missing out of a package.

I have that same feeling with TRU price tags! I still have a couple sets and other toys with them still on. Also have the same feeling with old school Software Etc, Electronics Boutique, or Waldens Software games!

we had a lot of sets the space, the wildwest, the knights, the pirates and the colonist and some of the city sets but sadly one of our cats mistook the box with the plans for the cat potty (and they were all destroyed)
