4.75/5. I wish the colors individually popped a bit more, but some angles are POPPIN, and the subtle overall Mauve tone is sweet. How much of a pain is it to spray this process with the flex and auto motive paint? Much harder than a regular dip?
Color is absolutely stunning, but just to be clear. This product did not work with dyc topcoat? And what we see is automotive basecoat, not dyc? And you guys are gonna test other dyc topcoats in the future?
The colors are amazing. The blues, purples, reds, and ambers really pop. You always make it work no matter if you think you screwed up. Great job guys!!
Imagine if this car was in an accident, eye witnesses from different viewpoints would not be able to agree on what color it was! “It was a blue car. No! It was purple. You’re both wrong, it was orange!” Amazing color shifts! HOC does it again 😊
Solid 5 - rich, beautiful coverage, it looks fantastic. Good ol' Gabe Eagle Eye on spotting the clumps in the first batch. I guess the occasional fail is part of the experimenting you do, it's good that you don't hide the problems that you have.
One of the best end products I’ve seen you guys spray so far. It’s really smooth and seems to have laid down really nicely. House of Kolor is my go to. I’m glad to see them entering into this segment of the market
OMG! 🤩 The color shift, the shining! 🤩🤩 I wish some heads of states would drive this, not just boring black, grey or silver! 🤭 *Can you shoot in HDR please! Presenting colors in a limited color spectrum is a huge mistake!* 😵💫
I really love this and I better because I've been rocking it on my bike for the last 23 years had it painted not too long after they developed their chameleon lines of paint
Well that answers one question I always had which is "can these guys actually paint a car? Or are your talents limited to plastidip? You guys can definitely paint, that car looks like glass 😮 and the colors...AMAZING 🎉
5+...😍... awesome that Gabe spotted that it didn't mix the way it should but the end result is amazing ❤...i see some beautiful amber, reds, blues, purplish pink and black colorshifts... beautiful end result ❤❤
4/5. I love the blue to orange shift, that’s a fantastic range. But I think it could be better over something other than black. Like a darker blue, or a burgundy red.
Straight 🔥 5/5 This has definite game changer potential. Dave is an asset 2U ALL DAY Fonzi!! His "careful" "subdued" & even "overly-cautious" personality saved this upload from becoming an application NIGHTMARE! Tomahawk steaks and a high-end German IPA should be his reward!
That look is WOW. I love the broad range of colors.I wish you would spray the speed shapes with different base coat colors so we can see the differences.
👍🏽 listening to the gut, usually, cruise the right thing to do. Investigating further saved the project. Definitely a five and very successful. I love it.
Good call Gabe! I love the color.😎 I like how it turned out very very chameleon.🦎 I think too it was just the Autoflex. I think it'll do fine with all the other top coats. Would like to see that video if you make one of all the top coat mixtures.
Great save. Looks beyond amazing. Love the muted red shift that almost looks more root beer. Love the fact that you are not afraid to spend profits weekly doing these videos showcasing various combinations. You should do another series with teaching someone to do a car, but surprise them by not letting them pick the color. Do one of the bags of unknown.
Nice guys but this isn't House of Kolors first time in the Kameleon color shifting world. they just discontinued their older product a couple years ago which was a ready to spray and revamped it into the FX pack series where the painter can mix a combination of different Kameleon pearl toners and ground coats to get your desirable look of the color shift they are after. Btw, I almost cried when I saw those two bottles wasted, that stuff is not cheap.😆
First, let me say thank you. Filming the whole thing and sharing the first part was incredible. You essentially showed one of the what to look for things that all of us wonder about. A, how do i know if it's going wrong, moment. Then the car looked fantastic. You guys are the real deal. Thank you for your time and efforts in these videos. The car is a 5-5 and you guys 10-10. Tell Gabe thanks for having a keen eye and unfolding his arms. (Well,at least the keen eye part😂) be blessed and stay safe.
Wow, that's what I would say is a perfect result, it's stunning, now I want to see more of the other colors, love this, it has almost a chrome like shine.
Good catch Gabe, but after seeing the finished product, I'm gonna need a moment to compose myself. 😍 I've always wanted my bike to be candy black, but I think I have a new leader in what colour I want it now. That colour is something special for sure. 5/5 just doesn't do it justice in my view.
The color looks nice but Fonse I want to talk about what a great painter you are! Dude they way you spray the car with no runs and done just right laying the coats of paint! I'm just amazed that no one has even noticed your painting skills!
Definitely a finish reminiscent of HOK colours, velvety smooth transitions and bright, saturated colours at both ends of the spectrum! Beautifully done, gents!!
Yeah. Like this. Nice colors. Round about a 4. Not as red as I thought it might be, which is a plus. I think I’d go for about 1/2 to 1/3 the load, just because I tend toward subtle.
Side by side, the flow of the colour shift and finish achieved makes older videos look like they where filmed in low res. This is more than just next level 10/5
That is a beautiful job.. I knew the house of kolor did great stuff, but that turned out way better than I was expecting. Everything is so saturated and bright. Very good job.. I love the videos
This is the absolute best shine/reflections I have seen one yet and that color change is soo very clear. I have watched a ton of your videos and some how missed that you could use regular paint and clear over and still be pealable?
I don't know who the very excited guy in the red shirt is coming out of the building in the beauty pass, must be one of your neighbors at the industrial park, but I'm with him. It looks dope as hell.
The vibrancy is of the charts. It's incredibly rich and looks like it came out of the factory like that. Excited to see you guys cook up some more experiments with HoK stuff!!
Now this is more of what I'm wanting on my Triumph, Can I ask more of how and what this mixes with please, I've only ever sprayed cellulose. Always enjoy your vids, glad you managed to rescue this
I really like deep blue and purple but it is the ambers that really make it for me. They are almost an easter egg hidden away in the extremes of the colour.
This is amazing! Just like the end results to the red to black/blue to black color shift video. I have that on my car and see it every day :D love it! 5/5
Always a mind blowing video. you never know what the hell you end up with half the time so cool. It’s getting closer to spraying out the 57 Dodge town wagon. DYC happy trails.
Hey guys just caught your video tonight I've already watched about a dozen.. I got started painting cars with my brother-in-law when I was about 13 or so did a couple years at a Vo-Tech Dan ended up at a dealership for a couple years as a painter's helper. What's funny is his name is Gabor Kinal. Hungarian, parents are straight from the old country.
Fantastic looking finish, execution and yeah HoK products simply can't be beat. Had a Ducati SuperSport sprayed in candy orange flame and the thing gloooowed. 5:5 from me!
It’s top ten imo, but all I can think about is what that would look/sound like when peeling it… although that spray job does deserve to exist for a bit. Had to be expensive. Cheers DYC!
Guys- a trick i learned with liquid pigments & colors: store upside down. Gravity keeps it easy to get "all the good" out of a can or bottle. Lovin' the 'casts. Thanx. Rating: gotta be a 5.
*Close call.. thoughts on end result?*
very nice 4 from me
it really suits the BM
4.75/5. I wish the colors individually popped a bit more, but some angles are POPPIN, and the subtle overall Mauve tone is sweet. How much of a pain is it to spray this process with the flex and auto motive paint? Much harder than a regular dip?
5
Color is absolutely stunning, but just to be clear. This product did not work with dyc topcoat? And what we see is automotive basecoat, not dyc? And you guys are gonna test other dyc topcoats in the future?
5 for sure
That bronzey-orange color at extreme angles is awesome. Really feels like you're looking at some sort of fantasy sunset. Easy 5/5.
Kinda hard to believe that's peelable, very deep shine & very vibrant. Big ups DYC 👊🏻💜
That's what I want to know, what is this process! Because THAT shine is spectacular! I'm not a fan of the dull shifts. Movement needs radiance.
As they say: " AutoFlex Basecoat is the fastest, smoothest and strongest professional peelable base on the market"
I’m thinking it’s not peel-able, he said that’s in automotive paint not the DYC product unless there’s a DYC base coat underneath it?
@@jasoncampbell4723Its peelable even without DYC product.
Maybe they should use the HOC top coat?
Hard Hard Hard 5 out of 5. Totally awesome !!!!!! Thanks for the content as usual !!!!!!!!!! WOW
Wow! They weren’t kidding. The finish is superb too. Outstanding!
I can’t wait to see what else you come up with. It’s a 5 from me.
THIS SHIFTS/LOOKS JUST LIKE THE R34 MIDNIGHT PURPLE!... EPIC AF!...
One of my favorite colors ever. Deep and mysterious while still having some flash. Would love to see it on speed shapes, including a purple.
It’s odd seeing Gabe say “yeah more” 😂
Holy cow!!! That shine is ❤!!
That is outstanding! The shift from blue to purple to the bronze is incredible. Most definitely a 5
OMG! 🤩 The color shift, the shining! 🤩🤩
I wish some heads of states would drive this, not just boring black, grey or silver! 🤭
*Can you shoot in HDR please! Presenting colors in a limited color spectrum is a huge mistake!* 😵💫
Wow need my TT mk2 v6 in this colour it SICK
I like the outcome, I've wanted to see you painting a red shift on a green base to initiate the old $100 dollar bill paint from the past.
4/5. I love the blue to orange shift, that’s a fantastic range. But I think it could be better over something other than black. Like a darker blue, or a burgundy red.
This one turned out great. I’d give it a 4.5. Also is there a silver to black hypershift? I’d love to see you do that combo over a silver base.
5 of 5 The depth and clarity of the shifts is spot on!
That look is WOW. I love the broad range of colors.I wish you would spray the speed shapes with different base coat colors so we can see the differences.
5 our of 5. It's absolutely beautiful, and thank you for being honest about the difficulties you had.
Despite the mishap you corrected, this turned out amazing!! This is a solid 5, I would love to see more of these HOK kameleon concentrates.
👍🏽 listening to the gut, usually, cruise the right thing to do. Investigating further saved the project. Definitely a five and very successful. I love it.
I love this end result right here! Just beautiful! So glad that Gabe caught what was happening with that first round.
Good call Gabe! I love the color.😎 I like how it turned out very very chameleon.🦎 I think too it was just the Autoflex. I think it'll do fine with all the other top coats. Would like to see that video if you make one of all the top coat mixtures.
Awesome result! Thanks for the 'experiment' showing the Good, the Bad and the Ugly! Definitely a 5!
Love It!!!!! 5/5 I love the pops of color, Purple, Red, Orange, Bronze, Blue at the angles as the car moves.
Good save Gabe and it looks GREAT.😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 The color shift looks SWEET.
Love how vibrant and rich it is…and SO MANY COLORS!
I don't own a car, I will never dip a car, but the paint mixing and pouring segments of your videos bring me inner peace.
Holy Moly, beautiful in every way! It doesn't really look like a dip color but more like a real paint job!
5/5 result. Looks amazing. I watch all your videos, love to see these experiments and the ups and downs. This one was totally worth it in the end.
5! WOW ! That is amazing shifting of color ! I love it ! I'd like to see a shift in a bright color scheme for a video also !
I think this is THE BEST thing you’ve ever done! I want this for my car sooo bad! ❤❤❤❤
Has that Midnight Purple Nissan vibe… I love it!!!
Wow, I love those colors. The blue is so saturated and the red is gorgeous!
Excellent work - Great cut for the way out - Color is OK - High expectations didn;t get there - The shine was wild
Really beautiful! So glad Gabe saved the day on this one! 🙏👏
This is absolutely awesome! Definitely an easy 5 out of 5!! This may be my favorite shift I've ever seen. Love the shades of color
I think that works very well with that car. A lot of time I see your colors and think color might be okay on different car but I think this worked.
Love the end result, I'm glad you caught what was going on.
LOVE! 5out of 5. Burgundy, electric Royal Blue, Blood Orange, what's not to like? And the high sheen rocks!
Wow, that's what I would say is a perfect result, it's stunning, now I want to see more of the other colors, love this, it has almost a chrome like shine.
OMFG!! I love it! That’s awesome! I love how smooth the transition is. It melds vs being grainy. 5/5 for sure!
5/5 yup like you said it is very crisp looking for colors. Love how sleek it is too and great color combos
That's beautiful! 5/5! Solid looking colours that don't shift too quickly and that orange peaking at certain angles instead of always is money!
5! Gonna need to adjust the rating scale up for this one! That is the best looking shift! So deep n rich! Love it!
This is incredible! It looks insane! Those shifts are mind blowing! Absolutely beautiful! 😍
Yeah. Like this. Nice colors. Round about a 4.
Not as red as I thought it might be, which is a plus. I think I’d go for about 1/2 to 1/3 the load, just because I tend toward subtle.
Pretty! The tail end of a magnificent sunset
That’s beautiful. Don’t know WHAT the first attempt would’ve looked like, but this definitely worked out 👌🏼
Side by side, the flow of the colour shift and finish achieved makes older videos look like they where filmed in low res. This is more than just next level 10/5
Gabe with a last second save. Game ball 100%
That is absolutely gorgeous guys definitely a5/5+++++. Love the shift of burnt orange purple and blues with the hints of red!!!!!!!
That is a beautiful job.. I knew the house of kolor did great stuff, but that turned out way better than I was expecting. Everything is so saturated and bright. Very good job.. I love the videos
This is the absolute best shine/reflections I have seen one yet and that color change is soo very clear. I have watched a ton of your videos and some how missed that you could use regular paint and clear over and still be pealable?
that color is sick AF !! and the shift is just AMAZIN how it pops
5/5! Stunning look with the finished car!! 🔥🔥🔥
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful colors and that shine.... love that shine.
You guys nailed it way to trust your guts. BEAUTIFUL, SUCH A NICE CLEAN CLEAR FINISH. 15-5'S
After the last two weeks, this is jamming the awesome up a couple of notches. Really look forward to seeing other experiments with these.
Usually I don’t like hyper shifts but this one is a solid choice
Now that is pretty! I’d give it a 4.8- and a full five over a lighter color: blue, purple, or maybe even red!
5/5 !!!!!!! Wow that's beautiful I'm glad you guys managed to save it! 😍
I don't know who the very excited guy in the red shirt is coming out of the building in the beauty pass, must be one of your neighbors at the industrial park, but I'm with him. It looks dope as hell.

Beautiful. 😻 I love how rich the color is.
I really like deep blue and purple but it is the ambers that really make it for me. They are almost an easter egg hidden away in the extremes of the colour.
At first I wasn't crazy about the bronze...but it grew on me....
I give it a 6, the shine and depth give it an extra point!
Great save, VERY pretty! the changes are subtle blending between shades. 5/5
This is amazing! Just like the end results to the red to black/blue to black color shift video. I have that on my car and see it every day :D love it! 5/5
What a beautiful finish that car has. One of the best so far. 5. Great job Gabe.
Just love it the shine blows my mind ❤️😍😘💕😻🤩💞😁
Always a mind blowing video. you never know what the hell you end up with half the time so cool. It’s getting closer to spraying out the 57 Dodge town wagon. DYC happy trails.

Now one of my favorites. I especially like the finish. It is so smooth and shiny.
Fantastic looking finish, execution and yeah HoK products simply can't be beat. Had a Ducati SuperSport sprayed in candy orange flame and the thing gloooowed. 5:5 from me!
Well done HOC. This looks glassy, smooth, and very nice
The best result I’ve seen so far, I would love this on my own car!
Definitely a big 5!!! The colors and the shine are amazing!!
It’s top ten imo, but all I can think about is what that would look/sound like when peeling it… although that spray job does deserve to exist for a bit. Had to be expensive. Cheers DYC!
I like this more than I thought I would. A sneaky shift in the best way. The finish looks great. It’s a 5 for me.
Guys- a trick i learned with liquid pigments & colors: store upside down. Gravity keeps it easy to get "all the good" out of a can or bottle. Lovin' the 'casts. Thanx.
Rating: gotta be a 5.
I love them all , I just need to choose one for my Jimny when ready and am about to purchase the rim dip in red and black pending 🎉🎉❤5.5
Great save … outstanding result amazing
I think this is one of the sexiest results yet! good job Fonzie and Gabe!
Love this!! Its such a rich, moody feel. 5 for me
That looks great. I like it. Excellent job.
That is absolutely stunning. The shifting of the colours is next level compared to the powders you would normally use. Awesome. 5/5
Fire, absolute fire. Amazing 👏
This is something special here. Gorgeous colors and the shine is next level. I'm curious if this would work matte too? 10/5❤
