- I head out to enjoy the UK summer while it lasts and take the opportunity to test out the Sony Xperia 1 VI. We have the Sony Vlog Monitor and Bluetooth Grip in addition to this so plenty of video and photo samples for you to mull over.

That's the great thing about Xperia. I just hope next year they give us some sizeable camera sensor upgrades.

Hi, thanks for such an honest and straightforward review. Did you use the standard settings for video recording or tweak them as it looks a little washed out to me and like theres an overly white layer overlapping the video. Im no video guy so just saying what it looks like to a layman.
I've been away for a few years from sony and thought about coming back but i dont ever feel convinced each year i eagerly come to look at the latest models sadly.
Hi there. Thanks. It was using the S-Cinetone colour profile which does make it look more that way.
I'm taking the phone away on a trip soon and will have a more in depth review afterwards including more footage in the standard profile. Hopefully the new camera app update and Android 15 aren't far away.

I probably wouldn't have much use for it. I'm interested to see if we get any extra video features once the Android 15 update comes.

Why was the video so blown out?... I dial down the exposure compensation with 1 to fix it
I used S-Cinetone basically. I didn't make any adjustments to the exposure beforehand.
Much preferred the Videography Pro app.
Unless Sony starts marketing their phones and actually making them available in more countries I cant see how they will ever sell more photos.
I don't disagree. I feel they're going backwards in some regards.
Whis is the stability on your video not as good as my vlog? Possibly because of the half finished app on the 1 vi?
I didn't have the highest level of stability turned on.

@@GroundedTech bought a lovely gimbal. Try the Feiyutech scorp mini 2. It does phone and camera (up to 1.2kg in weight) I bought that after my vlog
