OMG, I have looked at quite a few TH-cam videos to program my GE universal remote. This video finally did the trick. I had been trying periodically for over a month to set it up. Thank you. 😊
Mr Mark Franks, your video helped us so much. We bought a used RCA TV from Goodwill without a Remote. Bought a RCA Universal Remote, got a Code List from the internet, no code seem to work. But watching your video and the Manual Code Search method. It worked as you explained. We only had to do the Power button sequence of wait 2 to 3 seconds, and by the 3rd time, and the Remote is working. Thank you so much. Best to you.

Thank you for this easy tutorial. We lost our Roku remote and we have this GE Universal remote and found your video upon searching and it works now with our RCA tv. I used the auto search code and it works perfectly.
Hey man I recently got the rca remote and tried programming it I searched for a lot of different tutorials but non of them worked except yours! Keep doing what you’re doing kudos to you!
None of the many videos for the RCA remote has worked for my Phillips TV, including this video
I even rebooted the remote with batteries out, press and hold the number 1 for 10 sec then put the batteries back in a push the power button. At one point I did have it connect just to power on and off but nothing else.
Easy to follow, no long bs intro that wastes time. Right to the point and solved the problem. A+++++

Do you have a code for the Westinghouse 32 in tv remote control. I saw code 0114 and 0143?. On that remote, do I hold down the power button (red button on the remote)
And what other button to connect to my Westinghouse tv to turn on and off??

When you say system for the GE remote are you referring to the system settings on the television or the word system on the remote only reason I'm asking is because I have a Samsung television an I have the black version of your sliver remote but the word system is not stated on the remote
