The E323 was my first keyboard, I used it for years and I started to study music and piano in middle school with it, in 2011. At that time I looked at it as the most complete and beautiful keyboard to ever exist, with hundreds of sounds and rhythm styles, and it could layer and split sounds too, with much envy from my classmates. So much fun and good moments with it. Even now that I upgraded to workstations and synths I look back at it with beautiful memories
I've had this piano for 11 years now! (Since I was 5 years old) The piano sounds so good with headphones and it has alot of functions to experiment with. What I miss though is that the keys have too little resistance making it much more difficult to play on acoustic pianos when you're used to it. And unfortunately I never had a sustain so to make it sound better, I usually change the reverb settings to hall3 and reverb level to 80 - 90. Besides that, I love it!
Yep, I think almost any yamaha starting with PSR-E is an ideal beginner keyboard because they sound good enough to be realistic but they have fun features to keep learners entertained and interested :)@@jerryx2000
Nice demo - Yamaha did a good job with their pianos in their PSR series. With touch sensitivity on, you can hear not just the volume change but the filter changing too, a brighter sound when keys are pressed harder. And I much prefer their phone-style keypad layout (123 on top row) versus the calculator keypad layout (789 on top row) used by some keyboard manufacturers. My finger muscle memory is easily confused!
Same. It’s more common that 123 are on top. That’s what I love with these budget yamaha/casio keyboards that touch sensitivity isn’t just volume change. Unlike those super lower end keyboards. I had those like 50$ keyboard and for me that was unplayable even “touch sensitive” because of its shitty sound.
A very enjoyable video, would it be a good choice for a beginner, my granddaughter wants to start, also can you play the majority of songs on it. Cheers Kim.
I'm pretty sure you can change octave on the 363. There are so many options in the function menu, it's very easy to miss. If you hold down function and press +/- it's a little easier to navigate through the system. Hope that helps!

Wonderful!
Gearfacts I really like the sounds on the yamaha psr e 323 keyboard
Wow back when the Yamaha e300 modules didn't have the fabric covered speakers I bet the metal covers are so much better and easier to keep clean.
Totally agree, fabric is dreadful
I have this keyboard since my school days... it's really nice :)
Good reference, experience talks. 😎👌🏻
Still sounds great 😊 I enjoyed it.
I'm glad!
@@gearfacts Hi again, i was just curious if you did a review on the psr e333 also. I was looking for one from you but didnlt see it.😀
@@heroknaderi Hmm, I don't recall doing the 333. I wonder how many PSRE models there are now? It must be close to twenty!

Yep, you've gotta stick with the instrument that makes you smile - that's how the good music happens :)
YOO SAME, when i was 7 tho 11 years ago
You can actually turn on sustain via an option in the function button.Hope that helps.
This keyboard is still very decent to be used as MIDI sound module. Very reminiscent to MU50, MU80, and TG300 modules from the 90s
Absolutely

Can the different instruments be played on a DAW with MIDI?
Yep
Is there any way to connect it to laptop and record the music ?
ebay - "6mm jack to USB", about 1000 rupee.
plug it into the headphone socket->laptop.
@@JaseBDaley Thanks a bunch. I'll try.
Wow. Maybe these features are in PSR-E363 as well? Or are some features removed? I can’t see the M. Octave option on my E363

@@gearfacts ohh yes I saw it, thank you. I thought it was gone on E363.
what pedal were you using for this? i have this keyboard but I don't have a pedal
Just generic sustain pedal, you can get them for about $15
Many thanks this! Is it possible (and how) to connect this to the computer, kind of like a midi player?
Yes, you just need a mid-USB adapter cable, about $15 from online stores.
How can I get the learning function?please tell me,thanks.
Im trying to find a plug for this keyboard, do you know anywhere i could get it?
Or at least what type of plug it uses?
Anyone know of a nice carry case or bag that suits this keyboard?
If you search eBay for 61 key keyboard case, lots of good options, come up
Gearfacts and same with the yamaha ypt 320 and the yamaha ypt 220 keyboards
How can i make my own styles and make a loop in this yamaha psr e323??
a query those sounds as spatial do you make them with an extra accessory or are they from the keyboard by itself? Thank you
Just a standard keyboard sustain pedal, about $10 from a music store.
@@gearfacts Is the sustain pedal connected to midi or can it be used directly connected to the keyboard?
@@gearfacts hello the E223 keyboard is the same as the E323? what differences do they have?
@@dracva it connects directly
Gearfacts should I get a uesd yamaha keyboard from 2014 or 2015 or get a brand new yamaha keyboard
@TheBradge do you really buy keyboards from gearfacts Facebook
Are those keys touch sensitive?
Yep
Here’s the demo songs from this keyboard: th-cam.com/video/G0ISob_S9v8/w-d-xo.html
@Dawn R I’m not the one who uploaded that video though.
Dawn R And I have the psr e353 and the clavinova clp 230.
is this worth using without a sustain pedal, or should i wait till i have one?
You can set it to sustain, even without a pedal. Just keep pressing FUNCTION until you see the sustain option
Did you use an midi to usb cable to record it live?
No, I connected audio direct to the camera.
Which yamaha psr have octave shift? E303, E313, E323, E333, E343, E353, E363?GREAT VIDEO!!!
All of them, it's in the function menu.
I have this piano, yet it up a half key, can anyone tell me how to fix it?
Keep pressing the FUNCTION key until the screen shows "Transpose". You may need to adjust it.
Should I get this in 2021?
Only if you want to save money. There are going to be some BIG releases in 2022
does this have touch sensitivity?
Yep
