Fun fact: this design isn’t an error but actually inspired by a historical architectural technique used in colder regions centuries ago. The main entry being through the central chimney ensured that cold air wouldn’t rush into the living space when the door was opened. Instead, the rising heat from the two fireplaces on either side acted like an ancient heat screen, just like the air curtains we use in modern buildings today. Practical and cozy
"Cold, the one thing my Village knows in these past 3 centuries, not a day we wake up hoping for the snow to stop, only to go outside and gather woods, in order to ease up the bitter shivers in our shoulders, by the end of the month, a blizzard comes along to make sure our people stays inside their houses, laying in their beds telling scary myths and stories to make sure you'll sleep early in night, but when the light comes on, we goes to hunting deer, making a soup is all we know other dishes like roasted horse beef is a rare occasion, this is what my home is like, welcome to Colerdia, Town of the endless Winter, in the region of Edvillaren..."
Sounds like fake place, it doesn't snow 24/7/365 anywhere on Earth. Not even viking named Greenland. I don't believe people chose to live in such a place, and even if they do, nobody is that tough and will die young. No sunlight, no fresh fruit, even without cold will get you sick real quick.
@@hoseokiesdimple2070 "another blizzard " my father tired mutterd as we are preparing for hunt, "but seems like a weak one" i added as i look up and observed the skies, he look up and nodded, as we gather our hunting gear, the birds from the woods flock away from above and went to the mountains, it was no surprise, blizzards are always strong in our area, but never recorded such as death or destroyed houses, either way we will be having deer meat tonight as my father once spotted a big one roaming around our yard, we quickly followed its tracks, and upon seeing it we noticed that it's antlers are rather glowing, as if it's on fire , we brushed it off aside, hunger and excitement was all our thought, and so we attacked and killed it...
My D&D setting has a region where the culture takes heavy inspiration from celtic and gaelic influences and myths, so music like this is perfect for when my players eventually end up going there!
The whole concept is unrealistic. Homes this grand would not have been in a “village,” they’d either have been on an estate or in a wealthy part of a city like London.
Que lindo!!! Gostaria de viver uns dias aí.❤

This is the kind of music I want to hear walking into a village or an Inn.

So you walk through the fire to enter the house, badass.
@@lcc6149Indeed. The true Celtic way!
Thanks for sharing!
It's an interesting thought. Do you have a time/country this was done? I couldn't find anything online on this subject, but I am willing to learn :)
When I first started reading this, I was picturing a Santa Claus entrance through the chimney.
My spirit is truly lifted by your music! love song

The melody feels like a warm embrace from another time-such a beautifully crafted piece of music! 💚🎻
I'd like to live in this village.
No indoor plumbing dude.
@@Clydesirota My Argonian servants take of that.

Awesome! No ads to spoil the moment. 👍

I LOVE this music.
It's beautiful, like something you'd see in Skyrim, or Zelda.
Yeah but in Skyrim, this would be a city xD
Beautiful ❤
Gotta love those “medieval” streetlights. 😂
So beautiful ☺️
Hail all Hyperboreans, Merry Yule to you ! ✨✨
Thank you for the beautiful video.❤🎄❤

Love the image, but also intrigued to know how the fireplace in or over the front door works. LOL😄
Probably an AI image since that chimney doesn't make sense at all
lol! Well. There is that, isn't there! 😆
Absolutely shattered the moment I was having, but did so making me laugh, so thank you... sort of lol
maybe the fireplace is on the second floor, and the structure just continues over the door
ela pertence ao segundo andar.... talvez
i came here to say this exact thing. But i am going to try and model this house in Valheim and see if it works on the second floor
I can see a group of adventurers riding up to accept a quest

This is 18th and 19th century architecture, though...
That first portion of the music is a straight up cover of the Coraline main theme 😂
You’re sooooooo right. How funny 😂
Considering they only really had candle light at this time period, the amount of light in each window would suggest the room is on fire..

It's so beautiful both the music and the image. Who is the owner of the image? I would like to create something similar in 3D. Thanks!

This looks more like an 18th century village in central europe, rather than Celtic settlement of old. MURahhhhhahhh.
being a resident of tropical region,,this type of village and climate seems way too dreamy
Places like this still exist, but they don't much like new people....
