“If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that we were made for another world.” ~ C.S Lewis
1 John 2:15-17 ESV Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in Him. For all that is in the world-the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions-is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.
Amen. CS Lewis and I both believe in another world where because of Jesus we will be in paradise. I am not of this world. Jesus is my Lord and Savior 💟✝️
Narnia will never lose its magic for me. Every single time I watch it, I get the goosebumps, get carried away to another world. And the older I get, the more I see the meaning behind it, the more I understand the characters, and the more I cry
You and me both!! Good to know there are like-minded souls connecting to it with the depth of emotion and understanding I have found with Narnia! For Aslan!!! ***phew, I just teared up typing that
Did you know that the Lion Aslan represents Jesus and Edmund also represents as Judas who abandoned Christ & Edmunds family. When Aslan is killed, he’s on the stone table, then he comes back to life just like Jesus did! So that’s why I love this movie so much. I hope you understand that I’m trying to say. Thank you 🙏🏻
I’m crying listening to this music. I’m 24 years old. So much has changed. And it will continue to change. I don’t want it to. I want to go back. I want to feel the magic and innocence again. I’d give anything to be little again.
You cant go back time and you can't stop changes, but changing doesn't mean that you will stop believing in magic or stopping being innocent. Magic and innocence it's in your heart, those who believe in magic will always find it.
go sit and watch the film again. for that short moment in time, you'll feel that all again. go sit in a dark room with headphones and watch it with a soft blanket around you.
Everything was both easier and less bland when we were kids. As you get older, the world expects you to leave magic and innocence behind. But deep down, they are still within you. Who said that you can't feel them when no-one's looking? Or when you're among friends or family, or whoever you believe is dear enough to appreciate the real you?
We all have the chance to go back to Narnia but we get there a different way in our world --"In your world, I have another name. You must learn to know me by it. That was the very reason why you were brought to Narnia. That by knowing me here for a little, you may know me better there."-Aslan (Jesus)
Just listening to the first seconds of the video and I'm crying. I feel like a little girl again that fears nothing. There is peace and happiness in my mind.
"Wrong will be right, when Aslan comes in sight. At the sound of his roar, sorrow will be no more. When he bares his teeth, winter will meet its death. And when he shakes his mane, we will have spring again. " Thank you for this amazing video. Truly well done!
My Maiden name is Bray. I am so proud of my Parents. My Father was a Sargent Major in Gibraltar where I was born. My Father is in heaven. God bless him. I really miss him. He Saved me at the age of two. He is very special
It's incredible how certain movies have connected so many of us together across the world. We are all strangers here, connecting and feeling nostalgic over music of certain films from our childhoods. May God bless you all. Amen.
Is it not incredible? This beautiful human bonding with one another via this magical musical pathway. May our God be pleased in how his people find ways to connect. That we are blessed - we are. Amen.
@@2516김한성 Narnia is a Christian series, C.S. Lewis was a very prominent Christian author. His book Mere Christianity is an interesting read, because it explains Christianity from the ground up, and it was based on a series of radio talks he gave targeted at the British people at the height of World War II, i.e. when they were suffering the most and had the least reason to believe in anything. Narnia makes a lot more sense when you realize Aslan is Jesus haha
To the person reading this, Good Luck! Don't stress, everything will be fine. No matter what difficulty you are facing right now, you can overcome it! You are strong and brave.
Fun fact: There's actually this place in Tennessee that is completely dedicated to Narnia. I went there when I was younger and It's absolutely stunning as there is a trail right behind it that just looks magical. It's in Warriors' Path State Park. Would highly suggest visiting there if you're ever in the area
When I was younger and scared of the dark I always had a picture in my head from reading these books, that if I ever was scared just imagine laying warm in the freshly fallen snow under the Lantern of Narnia, and I would fall safely asleep. This is awesome.
Awww, that lamppost is iconic, it's surprising how a whole universe was created in such a small amount of pages, there's so much in each one of those books!
What wonderful sentiments! This was a joy to read. The warm lantern light fighting off the darkness, the soft snow rounding off every cruel sharp edge and the kind and majestic lion standing watch over you. Lovely.
'We spoke often of Narnia in the days that followed. And when my cousins left, after the war was over, I missed them. With all my heart. As I know all Narnians will miss them, until the end of time.'
I'm 20... And yet I don't want to stop dreaming like a little boy to one day walk into such a special place. EDIT: Geesh that's a lotta positive comments! Did this magic do some work? xD
I read the Narnia books for the first time when I was 8 or 9. I'm 42 now, and I still think "what if" every time I open a door to an unknown room or cupboard for the first time. Don't ever stop believing in magic. Just a little bit of it can make the world a much more tolerable place, no matter how old you are. :)
When I was in second grade, back in the mid 80's, I had this old school teacher, one that brought me to tears when I found out the summer before that she would be MY teacher in the coming school year. All I had ever heard about her was how mean she was. Today, at the age of 38, I am so grateful for Mrs. Gilman. That year, in her classroom, I fell in love with Narnia, as she read us the entire series. It lit my imagination in such a beautiful way, and the beauty of those novels have never left me. She WAS stern, no doubt. She wouldn't hesitate to haul a naughty boy down to the principals office by the ear. But it was always with a lil smirk and a twinkle in her eye. That year Mrs. Gilman also realized that I was struggling to read. She gave me double reading homework all year, which my mother faithfully helped me with. By the end of that year I was a avid reader and totally in love books and literature of all types. Today, I am a homeschooling mama. I have a daughter who loves Narnia with the very same passion I had as a child. We have done read alouds, audio books, and the movies. And this year she will embark on reading The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe independently, for a literature class. She can't wait! Thank you Mrs. Gilman, wherever you are. You certainly helped shape me into who I am today and I pass those traits along to my daughter.
All is grace. Such a wonderful way to honor a teacher. I hope that her other students have honored her as well by sharing knowledge she imparted to them to others. She made a difference and hopefully someone shared that with her. That's why I wanted to be a teacher. GOD bless.😀
I’m only 13, still very young. I feel like i’m much older and it scares me, All the pressure in school, beauty standards, and insecurities. I felt like the spark inside of me started to fade... But then I remembered... Narnia, Lord of the rings, Harry potter. It just gave me so much hope, I finally feel like life is worth living again. I'll never stop dreaming (: I'm 15 now, and the spark is shining just as bright, if not brighter. Thank you all for the comments, reading them in my dark times brought me comfort when I needed it the most ♡
This is coming from a 23 year old girl who was just like you. I believe you will find your true self sooner or later but certainly. Books helped me to find myself, especially Harry Potter series. Don't worry, people are different and you don't need to be like others at all. All the best!!
@@xolotl._ I can tell that you are a person that brings good and light to others. There are others like you. You will find them, but just remember you are never really alone. Christ is always with us.
Hey, I felt like you in many ways at that age, and I know it can feel lonely and scary. These stories meant a lot to me too... The one thing that is better than reading stories like this, is to actually create and live them, so if you never heard of Dungeons & Dragons, give it a look;) It is an amazing thing to do with your friends, or find new ones in the community
Hold on to your childhood for as long as possible, my dear, because once you become separated from it it's very difficult to find your way back. You are at that age where childhood begins to recede and the mundane, adult world begins to take over, so hold tight to the magic and always keep it near your heart and mind ❤
@@jjvandenheuvel1335 J.R.R. Tolkien is the one who finally got through to Lewis re: God and Christianity. They were very close friends. I haven't read TLoTR series -- I know, that's awful-- but my understanding is that God is hidden in a lot of that, too.
I used to listen to this playlist when I was studying for my college exams two years ago. It was a time of a lot of anxiety and uncertainty for me, and listening to this playlist while I studied gave me such a sense of calm and escapism. Now I'm in medical school studying for mid-terms and this will forever be my comfort playlist. I grew up watching and reading Narnia, and when adult life stresses me out, I always find myself going back to Narnia.
I understand completely. Narnia and its music melts away my anxiety and makes me feel strong again. I hope your studies are going well, you sound like a wonderful human. I have an interview for vet-school in about a month so I'm hoping some of my uncertainty melts away with the snow next spring. Wish me luck! 🩷🌷
Susan, was a wonder. She might seem horrible in some eyes, she is a lost angel. Her life continues without her siblings, she suffered and remembered what she took for granted. She had so much to handle and was hurt. Her eyes are like the reflection of the stars in the ocean. Her hair is like a gentle breeze. As she went on she learned more, and remembered more. No prince fit for her, only herself is worthy. And she knows she is a queen. Although, everyone in Narnia hated her for forgetting so easily, deep inside she believed. Peter was loyal, brave, kind, strong. He deserved everything he had. His life was shaped by narnia, nobody could be such a great leader. Sadly, he does not get to continue life. His sword is his life, he fights for the greater good. His death shocked many, peter was different after narnia. Edmund was strong, he just wanted his siblings to be happy. Narnia changed his perspective and he will forever be a king. He was young and wanted but equality. He knew he had to fight for everything and everyone. Lucy is brave, loyal, she never gives up. She is a leader , a Queen. She fought for everyone, once she wants something she fights. Young yet brave. She made her siblings who they are today, she didnt have to die. She wanted a different life, but she learned that being her was the cause of everything that happened. Everybody has a purpose, and has true potential. Never give up.
"They turned and saw the Lion himself, so bright, and real, and strong that everything began to look pale and shadowy compared to him," -C.S Lewis This movie was a prevalent part of my childhood even when I didn't really understand what it really was talking about, then I read the "Magician's Nephew," and I began to understand who Aslan was representing. C.S Lewis represented Jesus/ God in such a beautiful and pure way. The way he created Narnia, and sacrificed himself for Edmund who'd served the evil Queen. Just like we strayed from him, only for him to send his son to die for us. When I read all of the books of Narnia, even though I was barely 10 years old I had a better understanding of the Christian faith, and it was only a few years later that I fully understood and gave my life to Christ. Now I find that this is one of my favorite books and movies of all time.
I read The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe when I was ten as well. I didn't have access to the others. I didn't really know what it was about, but it pierced me. The sacrifice of Aslan made me really upset when it happened in the story. My reaction was out of all proportion for a "fairy tale." I felt it very, very strongly, and thought about it for years afterwards. Even when I knew it represented Jesus, I still could feel what I felt when I first read that story--without "knowledge" of WHO it was really talking about, and WHAT it actually meant! It is a spiritual book, and it speaks the gospel!
This takes me back to when I first read The Lion , the Witch and the Wardrobe as a child. This book changed my view of the world and I still remember the wonder and magic it made me feel. Every time it snowed afterwards, I would walk in the fresh snow and be in Narnia, still feel the same to this day and I am now 62. Isn’t it amazing how a book can affect your life, yet there are some people who would prefer that books are burned and children never get a chance to experience something quite magical.
I read them all. I'm 45. When I found them, I was 12, doing time in a Troubled Youth camp. A lifetime ago it seems. The books took me away from all the chaos, and brought me to Narnia. After that, I read as many high fantasy series as I could find, from Robert Jordan to Stephen R. Donaldson and beyond. I cherish the memories, dark as some are.
❤😊 sigamos distribuyendo la lectura. Y que la imaginación no siga llevando al mágico mundo de Narnia, y con nosotros también, a nuestras generaciones futuras. Saludos para usted y mis respetos desde México.
I felt your words. I envy your childhood. Keep the magic alive. At least you have something enchanting to reminisce about and bring you momentarily to a place where wonder, curiosity, silence and peace exist. No, I haven't been to Narnia. I am just imagining at this moment, based on your words, creating magical memories I never had.
I have only watched Narnia movies, but I have this idea of getting the book and read them while listening to this music on a cold day sitting in front of my window....with some chocolate
Do yourself a favor and get the whole set! He was a brilliant writer! It is a boxed set of 7 books... Not expensive and will give you many years of joy when you read them over and over again!
I was forever changed by the novels as a child, years before the movie came out, I recommend listening to the audiobook of the lion the witch and the wardrobe by Michael York, it was what I listened to when I was young, and is the best rendition of the story in my experience. York as this way with CS Lewis, incomparable light, airy, playful, introspective
Bless you, I needed “❤️”that today. I wasn’t looking for affirmation, because I mean that saying I posted/created (-Singed by Love- not God is good, All the time, because God indeed, is. But God is also Love eternal. I was t looking for affirmation or kudos of any kind. But it felt very nice to be appreciated. Thank you. 🙏🏻😇
She stood chilled in the cold, the frost nipping at her, when all a sudden out of the beautiful white blanket and scratchy trees came a most peculiar creature, carrying packages and an umbrella. This brings me back through the wardrobe and into my childhood. Thank you for bringing back such a beloved memory ♡
I found this vid Winter of 20/21. I was in the middle of 6 months of weekly chemo and a global pandemic. It became a haven for me. I’m a Summer Son…the Winter is often a trial for me. But this reminds me that beauty is not seeing what you wish, but how you behold what you see. May you all have a beautiful day!
"In your world, I have another name. You must learn to know me by it. That was the very reason why you were brought to Narnia. That by knowing me here for a little, you may know me better there." That is 1000 volts of ELECTRICITY!
Ever since i saw the movies as a kid, the music and sounds just give me peace. I instantly become calm and warm. I guess you can say the movie has a way with touching the soul of some people.
I can't express the emotion that I feel right now. It's a bit of sadness, happiness and melancholy. This mix makes me feel like a feather, blown away by the wind in this immense world. It makes me feel calm. And it is good. Remembering these stories in a totally different world. The imagination world where everything is possible. Anyway ... thank you for this mix : )
“Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool." Isaiah 1:18 God, who made the world, who made you, who knows what we want, and more importantly, what we need, decided to make a way for us to feel "light as a feather" again. That lightness is what happens when you come into the presence of God - cry out to him, and he will redeem you. He wants to.
Beneath the blossoms with a pot of wine, No friends at hand, so I poured alone; I raised my cup to invite the moon, Turned to my shadow, and we became three. Now the moon had never learned about drinking, And my shadow had merely followed my form, But I quickly made friends with the moon and my shadow; To find pleasure in life, make the most of the spring. Whenever I sang, the moon swayed with me; Whenever I danced, my shadow went wild. Drinking, we shared our enjoyment together; Drunk, then each went off on his own. But forever agreed on dispassionate revels, We promised to meet in the far Milky Way.

And here I am again. Listening to the memories of my childhood. Feeling so peaceful but hurting at the same time, because now, I am older. I can't do whatever I want because I know it would have consequences. So now, I cry. Because this innocence, this magic, I lost it.
It burns in my heart also,a burning desire for another place, rich, full & free, yet wildly fantastic...a holy place of Aslan's rule...it comes from a real place...a hint of Heaven & the Promise Land of Jesus' Rule...the once & future King is coming to make this earth, His mighty Home with us who believe!!!
But you have gained so much more too! You have gained strength and muscles and finesse of fingers to make beautiful things or cook beautiful meals or plant some veggies, raise chickens. Your voice can be heard now and since it is not coming from a little body anymore it can be respected and listened to better. You have gained so much, don't run away from adulthood. That is what they want you to do. No responsible adults with sparks in their hearts from the times they were little- no change in this dark world.
You only lose if if you let it be lost, imagine walking through the back of your wardrobe to this magical world where time stands still look to the sky and just dream your mind will take you there.
They do like winter. It was a winter of oppression though. The trees and and plants never got to bloom or grow. They weren’t allowed to celebrate Christmas. They were never given the chance for festivals and party’s where they’d dance and frolicked in the warmth of the sun. Many of the creatures of Narnia have a time that they thrive so many of them longed for spring and summer.
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe has one of my favorite soundtracks and remind me of when I was younger. Now I'm in college, and I have to be in the hospital right now due to issues/rejection with my transplant kidney. This music is helping me a lot and transporting me back to Narnia. Thank you.
"In your world, I have another name. You must learn to know me by it. That was the very reason why you were brought to Narnia. That by knowing me here for a little, you may know me better there."-Aslan. I pray that God brings you peace in your situation and healing. I hope you are feeling better by now!
Praying for your complete healing. It's possible, the Lord is the source. I've seen many healed, with my own eyes, even the animals on my farm, from utterly impossible situations.
I used to listen to this music when I was pregnant because my baby would move a lot at night. Now he's 8 months old and is going through sleep regression and separation anxiety, it's been really hard to make him fall asleep, usually takes more than an hour. Right now we are both listening and he's asleep, it only took him 5 mins. This soundtrack always reminds me that God is right there when we most need him just like Aslan. Have a blessed day ❤️
Jesus can bring life and innocent back into your life. He loves you so much, He most certainly can be represented as Azlan :) please, give your life to Jesus. He can remove all pain, all hurt and all regret and restore peace and bring the joy of life back into you. The invitation is yours, He’s with you:)
Being a grumpy 15 year old teenager turning 16 with a mind full of worries about my future, i really need music like this to keep me grounded and warm. Thank you xx Hope everyone is well and safe in quarentine xx❤️
One of my favorite moments in the movie is when Aslan breaths on the frozen and they come back to life. I get chills every time. Jesus is the life giver. And when Lucy is standing right there holding her breath with childlike faith and anticipation of seeing her long lost friend come to life again.
CS Lewis loved people so much he gave us these books so that whoever reads them may have hope. Why did he love people? Why did he write of hope? Because God so loved [CS Lewis, you, me and everyone else] that He gave his one and only Son so that whoever believes in HIM shall have eternal life. (John 3:16 paraphrased) 1 John 4:19 New International Version (NIV) "We love because he first loved us."
Im 16 and I still listen to this everytime it’s a snowy day. Im so glad my mom raised me on this show growing up. I hope to keep my childhood imagination with me as I get older
"Are -are you there too, Sir?" said Edmund. "I am," said Aslan. "But there I have another name. You must learn to know me by that name. This was the very reason why you were brought to Narnia, that by knowing me here for a little, you may know me better there.”
The Chronicles of Narnia is probably the very first fantasy film I watched. And all I can say is that I'm glad that I was once introduced to this universe... I was only 10 and now I'm 19 and I'm very happy with the fact that I still keep these memories...The music in this film has always been perfect, it calms you down and gives you a chance to plunge back into childhood when you first get acquainted with this amazing fairy tale...I am very glad that these films are remembered and loved as much as I am, even though we are strangers to each other, our love for this universe is the same ❤ Those who are introducing themselves to this universe for the first time, I really envy them... I really do... Remember that Narnia is always open to you and is waiting for you! For Narnia, for Aslan!!!!
@Dark Fire Please don't end your life. We are all imperfect. You are not worthless. There is good and evil in all of us, but it's the side that you choose to cultivate that wins. Please don't ever feel that you are not worth it or that success eludes you. Don't ever stop trying, because once you end your life, it's over and you can't come back. You may think you don't want to come back, but those who do not accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior will beg to come back to Earth if they go without knowing and accepting Him. You are worth living because you were created in the image of God...mind, body, and spirit. Choose life and to live it abundantly. Sometimes you have to speak life to yourself. Proverbs 18:21 "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." I wish I could be there with you to help you through your pain, but since we don't know each other personally, I would highly recommend a therapist for you...especially a genuine Christian therapist. I know it's so hard to find a genuine person and even harder to find a genuine Christina now, but they are out there. It would also help to join a Bible-believing church, but just remember...no church and no person is perfect so best of all, speak to God out loud and tell him your troubles. He knows all about them and is the only one who can really fix it. He won't take your troubles away, but He will surely help you through them. I know it seems like He should take them all away if He's all powerful, but trials and tribulations builds strength and character. The next thing you know, you'll be able to help someone else who is feeling similarly to the way you feel right now. Just always remember Psalm 46: 1 : "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Give Jesus a try...if you already have...try again, but please don't end your life. You are way more precious than you know. God bless you my friend. I will lift you in my prayers tonight.
@Dark Fire Sometimes even I do feel that, to end my life or to just run away as far as I can go, but, That won't help, you'll end your life, you will get hurt, no one else will, that's a regretful decision dumbo, don't you have any dreams in your life? Your dream, your passion, then you have to live! You have to survive in this dark world, and once you walk on your own path, you'll slowly start to see the end of the tunnel which you were waiting for, you'll surely get what you want if you truly want that to happen, remember, If you don't have difficulties in your life then you're life is already ended, difficulties get those who are a little different from others, unique and totally special, come on girl/boy! Get out of your bed, throw those wet tissues which were soaked by the tears, from today, Don't listen to the people who were bullying you, don't just stay quiet and listen to their rumors about you, you have to speak friend! Speak for yourself! Don't show any more of your weakness to the world, I know you're very strong, you just don't know how much you are, have time for yourself, not just only for others who doesn't even care about you, they don't even deserve you, be a savage and straightforward girl/boy to them, And, Your new life is starting from today, yes! From today! Now enjoy listening to some songs, cool down, look at the sky, and say, My new journey is starting from today and I am not going to get hurt by anyone nor by myself! Yeah! That's the spirit girl/boy! Best of luck my friend! I am praying for you to God for you, now live your life! Enjoy!
@Dark Fire Don’t end your life- not just for your families sake, but for your own sake. There’s so much more to come, whether it’s heartbreak, or overwhelming joy. If you left the world right now, you wouldn’t be able to feel that joy that fills you up so much that you want to laugh and cry and sob and scream all at the same time. For me personally, believing in Jesus caused me to lose my depression- God have me the strength to go on when I felt I couldn’t. He gave me comfort when nobody else could pull me out of my pain.
That's just like my neighbourhood near Banff, Alberta , Canada. It is really quite marvellous. You must dress warmly and have some hot coffee or chocolate with you. And may find a place to build a campfire. God Bless!
For a short window of time we lived in the hills around Fairbanks, Alaska. Just after the first heavy snow in early September, the roads and trees looked EXACTLY like this! Fairbanks only typically gets one wet snowfall each fall-time. It's magical in many ways, up there in the 49th state, and its much easier to see God's hand in all of creation there, to be certain.
I was Muslim and converted to being a follower of our lLord Jesus Christ..I prayed to God one time with all my heart and asked him to show me if he’s real then Jesus came into my life. The holly spirit is guiding me and I will start preaching in God’s name one day to bring this gift of true love and happiness to less fortunate and lost souls.Amen ❤❤❤❤🙏😇
Truth sets a man free. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. False religions are slavery in this life and eternal punishment after for rejecting the truth. To believe the truth is not popular these days; to live by truth will bring adversity, but it is only temporary and those who are dead (separated from God) are in no way worthy of envy though it may seem sometimes that their way is broad path of avoiding trouble.
If you find your peace in doing so there should be none to question you brother. But as a Muslim I'd suggest you to not base your whole identity around being an ex Muslim. Sure, the charms of islam may not touch you anymore but don't be a mortal fool who mocks religions.🐼
this music just takes me back to being an innocent wide eyed 8 year old who saw the world as full of magic and opportunity who was convinced she was gonna find narnia in her backyard in the rain
Samee.. I was so into magical things and my first ever magical movie that brings that to me is Harry Potter.. Narnia just made me wanna wonder around just to be able to find those secret doors or even to just be able to see it with my own two eyes.. But as i grew up, my mind and perspectives changed as well.. I still love magical movies..but idk, its different now hahah, the eagerness is fading i guess ...
My mom just loved this film. I watched this in theatre with her. After all these years it brings back tears to my eyes everytime I hear this music because of the emotional/nostalgic effect this movie has on me plus I listen to this to pay tribute to my mom. Hope she was with me to enjoy it again and again. Rest in peace dear mom.
I’m sorry to hear about your mom but my mom and I just binged this series the other day and it’s always one we can count on to escape the world for a few hours together like they do in the films. They are able to leave for a bit and forget about the outside world
You are lucky that you got to see the Narnia films in a theatre, I missed out on my opportunity because of my toddler years, now I'd give anything just to be able to feel for myself how you must have felt when you saw all three films in the early 2000s.
Sadness lifted, calmness and peace descending rapidly...all is well. Close your eyes and let the music wash away your fears and let the music touch your soul. God is in heaven, you are so loved and blessed. Truly, only good will follow me the rest of my life.....light and love dear one. 🕊❤️
"God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our conscience, but shouts in our pains: it is His megaphone to rouse a deaf world. -C.S Lewis, I hear god whispering through this music and book
thank you c.s lewis, for making me believe in a world were trees hum songs and that you taught me even in the coldest of winters with Gods sword, spring will come again, thank you C.S Lewis for giving me hope that even a old rusty wardrobe can contain beautiful worlds inside and thank you for giving me narnia, the book that ill forever keep close to my heart
Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take them to heart what is written in it, for the time is near.. (Revelations 1:3)
I am listening to this while writing a book and this is the perfect music for it; it is so calming and inspirational. I read the Narnia books when I was 8. I am 16 now and the books are still one of my favorites. Chronicles of Narnia and all other books are literally an escape into a world that's purely ours. That's the thing about good books, no matter where we are, how we are, they will always be a part of us.
Narnia and Middle earth will always feel more like home to me than the one we experience when we pull our nose from between the pages. Writing is an art that takes a lot of patience, time, and invariably cradles a piece of the writer's soul between the pages. Good luck with your book, new worlds to explore and fall in love with will always be needed.
god this brings back such nostalgia and amazing memories I can’t even put it into words. Growing up, THIS was my childhood. Before I ever discovered lord of the rings, Harry potter, etc. This was my fantasy world, what I dreamed to go to as a child. Nothing will ever top my love for this incredible series. ❤️
Aslan tells the children they must search for Him in their world in the movie The Dawn Treader. Nothing material in our world will fill that Aslan-sized hole. Seek and you will find.
First and foremost I am a person of winter, ambient music and reading good books. This is a trifecta for me thank you for this video, I definitely love this whole genre.
I am A winter's love, oh autumn also, (not so much summer to hot ) this is also with music I love the soft that helps me sleep sleep does not come easy
My very first introduction to Narnia was when I was a small child, and, turning on the television at my grandparents' house and seeing a girl peering through a wardrobe door with a magical, wintery world on the other side. Immediately, I had recognized the story as one I had been waiting for my entire life. My grandparents bought me some of the books for the following Christmas and I was hooked.
Just imagine standing in the snow looking straight up into the seemingly never-ending sky. At the white and browns of the wintery trees as an aura of magic twirls around in the chilly air. A small smile on your face with a mind full of awe and wonder. A twinge of melancholy in your thoughts, thinking you might not be able to see such a beautiful sight ever again. A fairy tale through and through.
The other day I took a walk in the freshly fallen snow, through some woods and over a hill while listening to this music. I hoped to find a way to Narnia. Unfortunately I didn't, but I did find some peace of mind. And regarding the current events, that's worth a lot.
Do you know that hearing is the last sense to go before you die and you can hear even when you are in a coma ? Play this when you need to bring a loved one to have peace and see the stress go . We are brought into the world with music like this. Music can heal the world
As an adult, I have bought the entire Chronicles of Narnia. And let me say, I have never felt more like a young boy, experiencing the splendor of Narnia as if it were the first time ever. I can't wait to embark on this adventure again. It's what my heart needs right now.
I just passed the final exam of my law studies - I used to watch this while studying when I was worried or stressed. Thank you for uploading and good luck to all of you studying right now!
Boba AsianTea .. the professor in the house was Aslan. The true King and ruler. That's why he didn't push them away when they thought Lucy was a little mental. They were the ones he had been waiting for. So the story could be finished. He's the Lion.
Shelia Cruz you are such a liar, that is Diggory, and if you had actually read the books you would know that. Next time think before you spread misinformation.
@@sheliacruz3502 he isn’t wasn’t Aslan. he’s diggory kirke, who was the main boy in the magicians nephew. He built the wardrobe made of wood from the tree from narnia. you should definitely read the series, it’s amazing!
He said that? I realize language changes with time, but still - Christianity is the worldly designation of the Kingdom of God on Earth. Maybe it's just me that has trouble with it though.
Found this gem after meditating under my favorite tree. Perhaps a gift from him to me, to wash away all the sadness and confusion within me. Reminding me that winter will turn to spring and I will laugh again. I will begin to live with child like wonderment not afraid of what will be. Don’t wait, cultivate, nurture and create your own Narnia today. Namaste.
God bless you!! Although I agree so much the lord gave you that beautiful message , which I love!!!! , I however, do not advocate use of saying things like “ namaste” if ppl truly were to know the origins and practices, which go against the lord, God... ppl so readily say things in passing , only thinking to be Sharing things of peacefulness, pleasantness, innocent kindness and uplifting heart involved, but some sayings and practices That on the surface seem to convey such harmless aspect, from a common theme so many say without thought or any malice involved can be presumed to be nothing more than some upbeat message with kind intent , but that particular phrase has roots among the spiritual , however it is not just some generic greeting or phrase,, it is not something representative of anything that’s giving glory to the lord at all, but so many ppl commonly now especially, will use random catch phrases and sayings , in keeping with whatever trends etc but the origin of all that & where That Word comes from and represents isn’t of God at all. And I do believe that the lord God is the one Who put the rest of what you’d Bn saying ,, where in his glory, love, mercy and Grace And again, utmost love for you, as he listens to your hearts cries, concerns and needs and knows your tears , your every need, thought and feeling, in just my heart of hearts I feel that the lord blessed you with such a message ... but the namaste , that is not necessary at all to say.. ppl now just utter that type of phrase etc. about Just anything but for me, I’d def say pray and meditate on that, asking the lord to reveal to your heart his truth and wisdom, understanding and discernment of such things.. I am not always able to put into words exactly as I’d like to, so i hope no hard feelings or anything :)... if by my words I’m unable to as clearly convey what set the heart, I’m trying to express, I hope that my words don’t come off negativity or confusing in anyway. Only from a meaningful heartfelt place where I hope that Is understood and without any confusion or negatively lol. Take care and God bless you and continue To be near to you and to speak to your heart, anytime there is a need or concern. Very much, do I trust And believe that the message u received and shared was from the lord God, just minus that part, as I said.
Aslan's name still sounds so beautiful for me. When i see this name i remember about Narnia. I was just 7 years old when i found very old book "Chronicles of Narnia" , there were 7 different parts. I was so sad when i finished "The Last Battle". I remember that at that time i lived in small village (only 100 houses) in Siberia beside lake Baikal with grandparents and had only 10 classmates in classes. When i came back to city and started to live with parents i was 9 already. And then i just saw a movie trailer in theater, it was The Lion , Wardrobe and Witch! I was so happy! Because i knew whole story about Narnia already and then saw the trailer which was beautifully completed with my childhood imagination about Narnia. I really believed in Narnia and in another books with different worlds. Still im trying to keep my mind open and believe. But its so hard. Now i see all cruelty of this world and what hurts the most - see how desperate people are and there's no mercy to weak people. I don't understand why we are trying to be so mean and offensive to each other. Its painful to understand that only just few people in my country still having a good heart. To be kind - it doesn't mean to be weak.
Every year, when it snows for the very first time, I put on this ambient music. Right now in Bulgaria, the snow outside looks exactly like the scenes from your video. I feel a warm twinkle every time I listen to this music, for me it's the real spirit of the winter season. Thank you for bringing it to us!
This should stay at zero 'dislikes' for all time! Great scenery (many people in the world don't get to see such white landscapes that snow can bring!) and the music is wonderful.
I have always loved the Chronicles of Narnia. This just amplifies my love for it. Now its something I can share with my daughter as she grows. Thank you.
You think you’re getting old? I remember reading the books. A good while before any movies were made lol. Those books were the best. First, I remember a teacher reading from them , set time each afternoon and I would drift off into imagining everything as she read about it. That for me was more special and cool just with the way the imagery was able to captivate my imagination and the way it was in such detail , was like the movies had no way to compare to that Which was already put within my own mind ! I rem. Wishing that the film could’ve captured that same element and as well made as they were, I did enjoy them very much, nothing compared lol but no, I do understand What it feels like, seeing things once part of your childhood, gone and seeing so distant, yet not so far away, either.. can make one feel old and nostalgic. .. just gotta live in the now , thankful for every blessing God truly gives. Every day and moment allowed is a gift!!! We will often look back and see that time has escaped from us much quicker than it felt upon anticipation looking forward into the future, but every time has its place , every place it’s time ... one day we may all hope to have wisdom that we can trust knowing that from every Aspect of our lives and ourselves , we will have gained so much , as our years go by... we aren’t guaranteed tomorrow And we always have a predisposition that allows us to look back upon our past , where we never really realize that when we’re in the now , we may very well be in the best times of our lives , that will one day become some of our most cherished , fondest of memories to treasure , or the very good ol days , so often reflected back and spoken of .. life’s def. a journey lol and gaining age and wisdom can be downright surprising at times , but it’s a blessing none the less ! We get so much to look back on and be thankful for where ever we’ve been and that we’re able to be here in the now still , where even if we do get older and feel our age against the times we look upon , we can still be so thankful to the lord whose brought us here to where we are and for everything gained and able to be known and witnssssd along The way ... God bless u!!! Take care !!
@@breAnnasmama Based on what you said I highly recommend the channel Into the wardrobe if you love Narnia. It’s a beautiful way to escape to Narnia or think about it for a few minutes!

I cannot hold my tears while listening to this and reminiscing my childhood, when i was reading all Narnia's book. I was so scared of darkness but these books helped me out, they inspired me to see beyond my fears. The best childhood books I've ever read
This music has helped me so much. I have really bad anxiety so falling asleep at night can be very challenging. But whenever I put on this music I can just escape to Narnia for a while and I’m extremely thankful for the creator of this audio for that. I hope everyone who is reading this is doing wonderful and why don’t we go have some tea with Mr.Tumnus :)
"I've come at last," said father Christmas. "She has kept me out for a long time, but I have got in at last. Aslan is on the move. The Witch's magic is weakening." 😍😍😍
I'll tell you an interesting fact about "Aslan". It's very interesting. #FunFactForEveryone Did you know "aslan" means "lion" in Turkish? And did you know the "aslan" was literally an animal, "lion" in Narnia? Did you know the author of Narnia was a fan of Turkish culture? Did you know the reason why Jadis served the kid Turkish delight in the first movie? You should search those up. That's really interesting and historical, so deep. I was shook when I found it out.
Or their from a land down under, where sandstorm blow, bush fires are owned and ruled by Birds Of Prey, everything can slay you, The Road Trains are the world's biggest, and everyone in the outback is a part of The Australian Brotherhood, Women blow literal Thunder, and Kangaroo Roadkill is a delacisey, Gravity is reversed, and that's why they disliked.

@Dark Fire the bravest of all are those who choose to live over the easier options of not carrying on. I understand all too well not being loved for the longest time. Bullies and jealous teachers. But that doesnt make you a bad person or deserving of death. Find that something that makes you happy and hold onto it. If in the end you truly cannot stay with life, then there is nothing i can do from where i am and perhaps I'll meet your soul in the land of eternal resting souls one day
“If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that we were made for another world.” ~ C.S Lewis

Such a good quote. Thank you!
1 John 2:15-17 ESV
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in Him. For all that is in the world-the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions-is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.
So true! Christ is King!
Amen. CS Lewis and I both believe in another world where because of Jesus we will be in paradise. I am not of this world. Jesus is my Lord and Savior 💟✝️

You and me both!! Good to know there are like-minded souls connecting to it with the depth of emotion and understanding I have found with Narnia! For Aslan!!!

Thank you 🙏🏻
It’s beautiful, this story like other narnia books
"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened."

"They turned and saw the Lion himself, so bright, and real, and strong that everything began to look pale and shadowy compared to him," -C.S Lewis
This movie was a prevalent part of my childhood even when I didn't really understand what it really was talking about, then I read the "Magician's Nephew," and I began to understand who Aslan was representing.
Yes! Amen :-)
Yes! Ditto, except I’m 67 😄
Your words are beautiful. And what's more, you can play in the snow, thinking about Narnia. I live in Brazil🇧🇷, it doesn’t snow here.
The books...ARE. WAY. BETTER. Read them chronologically according to the history of the Narnian world and not how they were published.

When you feel the essence of God in a musical piece about a far away land that is closer that home.
I found this vid Winter of 20/21. I was in the middle of 6 months of weekly chemo and a global pandemic. It became a haven for me. I’m a Summer Son…the Winter is often a trial for me. Have you tried reading the books?
I can't express the emotion that I feel right now. It's a bit of sadness, happiness and melancholy. This mix makes me feel like a feather, blown away by the wind in this immense world.
It makes me feel calm. And it is good. Remembering these stories in a totally different world. The imagination world where everything is possible.
Anyway ... thank you for this mix : )
“Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool." Isaiah 1:18
God, who made the world, who made you, who knows what we want, and more importantly, what we need, decided to make a way for us to feel "light as a feather" again. That lightness is what happens when you come into the presence of God - cry out to him, and he will redeem you. He wants to.
You couldnt have described this atmosphere more perfectly. Kudos to you, quite an inspirational and beautiful way with words.
Beneath the blossoms with a pot of wine,
No friends at hand, so I poured alone;
I raised my cup to invite the moon,
Turned to my shadow, and we became three.
Now the moon had never learned about drinking,
And my shadow had merely followed my form,
But I quickly made friends with the moon and my shadow;
To find pleasure in life, make the most of the spring.
Whenever I sang, the moon swayed with me;
Whenever I danced, my shadow went wild.
Drinking, we shared our enjoyment together;
Drunk, then each went off on his own.
But forever agreed on dispassionate revels,
We promised to meet in the far Milky Way.

I'm sure that magic is still there inside of you. As you said, it may be lost but I know that it can be found again.
Narnia in winter is actually much more beautiful than in summer
They do like winter. It was a winter of oppression though. The trees and and plants never got to bloom or grow. They weren’t allowed to celebrate Christmas. They were never given the chance for festivals and party’s where they’d dance and frolicked in the warmth of the sun. Many of the creatures of Narnia have a time that they thrive so many of them longed for spring and summer.

“Children have one kind of silliness, as you know, and grown-ups have another kind.”
― C.S. Lewis
@Dark Fire Sometimes even I do feel that, to end my life or to just run away as far as I can go, but,
That won't help, you'll end your life, you will get hurt, no one else will, that's a regretful decision dumbo, don't you have any dreams in your life? Your dream, your passion, then you have to live! You have to survive in this dark world, and once you walk on your own path, you'll slowly start to see the end of the tunnel which you were waiting for, you'll surely get what you want if you truly want that to happen, remember,
If you don't have difficulties in your life then you're life is already ended, difficulties get those who are a little different from others, unique and totally special, come on girl/boy! Get out of your bed, throw those wet tissues which were soaked by the tears, from today,
Don't listen to the people who were bullying you, don't just stay quiet and listen to their rumors about you, you have to speak friend! Speak for yourself! Don't show any more of your weakness to the world, I know you're very strong, you just don't know how much you are, have time for yourself, not just only for others who doesn't even care about you, they don't even deserve you, be a savage and straightforward girl/boy to them,
And,
Your new life is starting from today, yes! From today! Now enjoy listening to some songs, cool down, look at the sky, and say,
My new journey is starting from today and I am not going to get hurt by anyone nor by myself!
If only grown ups were like that tree in Digory's Aunt's yard.

Welcome to the family. Jesus will treat you much better than any other interpretation of God ever could.
What a nonsense, Muslims believe in Jesus Aswell but he is our prophet
If you find your peace in doing so there should be none to question you brother. But as a Muslim I'd suggest you to not base your whole identity around being an ex Muslim. Sure, the charms of islam may not touch you anymore but don't be a mortal fool who mocks religions.🐼

A fairy tale through and through.

i will love to have this on at night with the lights low, reading a good book.
Reading The song of ice and fire
reading The Name of the Wind!!!
i think it best to start with the lion, the witch and the wardrobe and run through the rest of the collection

“I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.”
― C.S. Lewis
That is comforting.
That's good...
That's a great way to put it
He said that? I realize language changes with time, but still - Christianity is the worldly designation of the Kingdom of God on Earth. Maybe it's just me that has trouble with it though.
AWESOME

The magic of Narnia never leaves you once you've been there. And there's a bit of Aslan inside us all.
@@АннаМалеева-ю9н sounds beautiful and Narnia was beautifully written
Who gets chills when listening to Narnia music? God, this series is so underrated

Marnia was the best i love the video
I have always loved the Chronicles of Narnia. This just amplifies my love for it. Now its something I can share with my daughter as she grows. Thank you.
God we are getting old, I remember watching this movie when i was about 4 years old, my favorite character was Edmund, i love my childhood.
Yes me too. I literally cryy when see this movie
My favorite character is Susan.
We get so much to look back on and be thankful for where ever we’ve been and that we’re able to be here in the now still , where even if we do get older and feel our age against the times we look upon , we can still be so thankful to the lord whose brought us here to where we are and for everything gained and able to be known and witnssssd along
The way ... God bless u!!! Take care !!

I am lucky enough I do not wish nobody back in my world.
The Witch's magic is weakening."
😍😍😍
I'll tell you an interesting fact about "Aslan". It's very interesting.
#FunFactForEveryone
Did you know "aslan" means "lion" in Turkish? And did you know the "aslan" was literally an animal, "lion" in Narnia?
Did you know the author of Narnia was a fan of Turkish culture? Did you know the reason why Jadis served the kid Turkish delight in the first movie?
You should search those up. That's really interesting and historical, so deep. I was shook when I found it out.
This is actually a quote about Nancy Pelosi. Fun fact. 😏
all the dislikes are from people that were crying so bad they couldn't see clearly anymore and clicked the wrong button

Exactly.
