I want to express my sincere gratitude for providing me, a small TH-camr, the opportunity to speak on your esteemed TH-cam channel. It is truly rare to encounter someone as genuine and authentic as you in our industry. Our connection was remarkable, and I believe that if the podcast continues to excel, we may explore possibilities for future collaborations. Your friendship has been a delightful discovery for me in Dubai, and I genuinely hope to have the pleasure of meeting you again soon.

It’s amazing to see these two together. Professionals always seem to find common ground. Bernd introduced me to trading seven years ago, and Abdullah has been my mentor for the past year. I'm grateful to have crossed paths with these exceptional traders and for the valuable lessons I've gained from both throughout my career. I hold both of you in high regard.

The most awaited video. Bernds already proved to the world how consitent and profitable trader he is, top 1 for 3 consecutive months in the most renowned prop firm todate. The smartest thing that should be on everyone's mind right now should be to invest in different streams of income that are not dependent on the government. Especially with the current economic crisis around the world. This is still a good time to invest in gold, silver, and digital currencies (BTC ETH...).

    I absolutely love your content.
Its such a shame that real channels like this a small while there are all these MARKETERS pretending that they know how to trade because they draw a few lines on a trading session that has already finished.

@JayJay-tb2rc I agree. These other trading channels market the bs (hype of trading) for views bcuz overnight millionaire gains are much more attractive than the true, I had to spend $20-50k on mentorship, took me 2 years and losing $10k on mistake to become consistently profitable route.
Personally, my first year live trading my totals of losing trades were an insane $53k and winning trades totaled only $41k leaving me at -$12k. My next year i exercised the knowledge is gained WITH very disciplined trading and, not only did I Gain that $12k back but I finished up $66k. Sounds fake but all true. You WILL lose money if You're not disciplined. I missed money chasing losses, gambling, and emotionally trading.

Definitely swing trading is more predictable and easier to read price action, but I've seen many scalpers who started trading with me and are now making 5k or more in a day. I prefer swing trading because you can participate while having a full time job and price action techniques are more effective.

Wow. Such a breath of fresh air hearing this guy speak. I just listened to Lance Weinstein interview before this one. Lances approach seems so much more stressful and he consistently repeated how hard he has to constantly work. This approach seems so much more realistic. You still need to put in the work of course- but once you have the fundamentals and have a game plan, it’s a much more sane and normal way of living. Love it

I think what he's referring to is trading extremely large capital and trying to scalp. It would be harder to enter and exit the market with incredibly larger sizing. If you know about the market makers, they have orders they need to acquire and dump. They can't enter or exit the market all at once. But we will see what he says in the interview and what he means by that quote.

I think the discussion about scalping is very personal. Because if we're talking about losing $20k there's no difference if you lose it in 1 minute or in an hour, in the end you still lost $20k. For example, I wouldn't be able to have a trade open for several hours and then stop and lose that $20k, or a trade open for perhaps an entire day and in the end it returns to break even. I prefer to close my trades at a loss, profit or BE in a few minutes.

A good amount of new traders would actually be better at trading if they have commitment. But then most traders just tries to make profit without proper researches, which often ends up in unavoidable losses.

    • @fredjames2601
      @fredjames2601 ปีที่แล้ว

The reason why most people lose money is not as a result of no commitment to trading but simply because of lack of proper guidance. Most times when trading you need to recognize the existence of an unsafe trade entry, And that is the obligation of a professional to guide you through.

He may have a misinterpretation of scalping. Its just price action. Most of us use higher time frames for analysis and take trades based off timeframe no lower than 15min. We are still using proper risk management and just use the high volatility of the market during certain times to get in and out. Just look at Raja

On scalping, I totally understand and agree what he says but I must add one thing. Yes there are traders making great money just scalping. They do not risk so much each trade, but it is the total sum of all trades that add up by the end of the day. That can be a significant amount for not too much risk. However as Bernd said it correctly, I do not see any scalper risking $10k on a scalp trade, and successful scalpers do not need to. If you are taking 100-200 trades a day with a high win rate (positive EV) and very controlled risk management, that is how you scalp successfully. You do not need huge risk per trade. Swing trading however requires a much bigger risk per trade because you need to hold it for a much bigger move to see meaningful returns. That's another talent.

Mack from PATS scalps consistently 20-25 contracts on the ES. If he loses a 3-4pt trade which he enters all the time, we’re talking about a 3-4k loss per trade but he has a win rate of 85%+, so there you go a scalper who risks high capital and trades consistently.

Real trading is the buying or selling of an asset using real money. High frequency trading, scalping, swing or position trading are all forms of real trading if real money is involved.
When trading on a 100k prop firm funded account that allows a maximum daily loss of 5%, it could be useful to think that one is trading on an account that has a balance of only 5k plus profits minus losses of the day. Being funded 1 million virtual dollars may seem quite impressive, but the reality is that one is trading on a 50k account.

If your strategy hit rate is 8 out of ten in 1 session. (2 possible losses). You trade across 4 pairs. Now you have 8 possible losses when you take a trade. Please trade 1 or 2 pairs in a given session. You can have better markups. You get a feel for the candle action. The reaction to ema's . you can get better alerts set. Spot your trades before they happen. See setups for double tops. So many advantages. keeps you from taking impulse trades and missing something obviously bad on the chart.

And who said you have to scalp big numbers? I can make more money winning 10 small trades in a day than I can winning one trade over 2 or 3 days. I did take that personal.
