Alnwick Castle 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Today with some time off from work we took a wee walk around Alnwick Castle in Alnwick. This castle is steeped in rich history dating back 1000 years. From medieval warfare and chivalry to Victorian innovations and ingenuity. We were unfortunately unable to take photos or videos of the state room’s where the duke and family reside when they’re in residence. These room’s are a must see if you come visit. Full of beautiful art work and craftsmanship that has to be seen to be believed. Plus you can come for a broomstick lesson on the lawn where the famous Harry Potter scene was filmed.
