For those needing help with the Ranunculus there are videos posted by Sun Dragon that are invaluable in my opinion. She’s very careful and respectful that it is a paid for pattern, but gives great help!
Too funny, Kate! I am from Canada and one of the reasons I first started watching your podcast was because you were based in Ireland, and I have always wanted to go there. One day, hopefully soon, I will finally see Ireland. Lovely vlogmas, as usual. Happy holidays! ❄️
Hi Kate. I have knitted a ranunculus as well in a linen. It drapes beautifully. Could you tell me what needles you knit your socks on please? I hope you enjoyed your day with your Mum.
Usually I knit my socks on Lykke circulars 2.5mm (US1.5) although for the socks I’m currently working on, I’m trying the 2.75mm to see if they’re a better fit (chunky ankles🤣🤣)

Thank you for answering my sweater question. I'm excited to try the Ranunculus pattern in the New Year. ❤
Happy Christmas Kate. x
I knitted the Ranunculus in a light worsted on size 10 needles and I like the way it turned out.
Thanks for flagging up the Woolly Festival in Edinburgh, it’s good to know far in advance so I can plan ahead. Can’t wait

Thanks Kate@@HawthornCottageCraft. I rewatched your needles vlog which was quite useful to me.
Do you have any recommendations for someone wanting to knit a first sweater? Thank you! Thank you.❤
The Flax sweater by Tin Can Knits is a great pattern for a first sweater😊
