@keko7198 people are loosing their rights. In his explanation he was trying to explain that some don't even realize it is happening. Roe v Wade gets overturned taking away a woman's right to choose. In some states they want to go as far as banning contraceptives. They want to make it harder to vote. Come churches bus people to the voting booths. They ban that! They are gerrymandering voting districts to make your voice irrelevant. In Florida the Governor passes a law to change how Black History is taught!! I could go on and on. I'm not some conspiracy buff. But for anyone to say rights and things like our history aren't being taken away? You have to be sleepwalking. Lol

Remember in 94 when the players and the owners in the MLB couldn’t come to an agreement. You know what the players did they went on strike and shut down and cancelled the rest of the season and the post season. Players in the NFL are constantly trying to call out the owners. But the reason they rarely ever see change is because the players themselves aren’t willing to take drastic measures besides threatening to sit out.

Problem is some NFL players get paid only like 500000 a year and some get 50 million, so they target those low paid players and they are the first to fold.

You guys should look into the story of the Super League here in Europe. Players, fans, pundits, even the governments got involved to stop a closed league promoted by a company trying to hijack the beautiful game. Never before have I seen such unity in anything sports related. They tried to turn soccer into the American system with no promotions and relegations, all-star games etc. We were having none of that. Even though the money was in the billions being pumped into the game. They understood the hard way that the sport belongs to the fans!

Not going to happen. You have to understand how the sport works here. That pyramid is the foundation of European soccer. They had almost 5 billion to pump in to this closed league, and no fan was interested. The owners, networks etc were all onboard, but the fans rioted, broke into stadiums, even got the governments passing laws penalising clubs trying to join the super league. This all from grassroots protests. Main thing is it was across the board. Sports here is about a hell of a lot more than just money. The rivalries especially and the lack of promotion and relegation makes it dead before it even starts.
The same thing with the NBA. Adam Silver said it himself "I dont see a problem the product because fans still buying tickets & watching on their devices"

Before the last negotiations in the NFL the head of the players union told the players that the owners were going to renegotiate the CBA. They told the players 2-3 years ahead of time that it would happen. And before the players voted on the new agreement he told them that they could get a better deal and that it wasn't the best deal. Yet the players still voted to certify the deal. So what Ocho and Unc are saying won't happen

I had nflticket until, as I live in Chile they switched to DAZN. I watched some pre season and the video would freeze often (very annoying during big plays) - when you watched a replay, and it was interrupted it did not remember where you left off. I cancled it and watch free streams which are better quality. I read many people cancled DAZN - so yeah we don't voycott (us fans).

People are more inclined to help others when there's something beyond their control and they believe that person's is a good person who's doing everything they can to help themselves.
Sometimes people don't demonstrate a lot of empathy for certain people not because they don't have empathy in general, but because they feel this person is most responsible for their own bad situation and if they made better individual decisions they wouldn't be in their situation. So they offer advice to them to improve their situation, which is a foam of helping someone, especially strangers
They would have no problem bridging the gap to help someone whrn they see that person is trying to do everything they improve themselves

As someone who lives overseas and finds football boring, I’ve noticed how the NFL’s marketing strategy paid off in heaps. They paid ESPN and Fox to pair NFL stories with NBA stories. It slowly brought the boycotters and old fans back as well new fans. The halftime show at the superbowl also did a lot to keep the NFL on the up and up.
It's crazy that they separate dorm rooms in college by skin color and class rooms in on school it was black and Mexican only class for English and math and science and white and Asain only for the same topics.
The players need better money management skills, theres no reason why lower class and middle class people can make due during rough patches but the upper class cant.
This is why i watch CFB way more

The MLB & NBA have fully guaranteed contracts so players know they go get their money regardless & teams can’t cut them because of it.. in the NFL where contracts aren’t fully guaranteed unless a team chooses to do that they’ll just simply replace you.. I honestly feel like the only way that a strike in the NFL would actually work is if the QB’s initiate the charge because these billionaires won’t sweat off of guys making $5M & less but they’ll feel some type of way when that QB that they just gave $200M+ to starts not showing up for work because at the end of the day they want a return on their investment & it’s hard to imagine that anybody a be happy about not getting results from that QB that you just paid a quarter billion to but I don’t expect them to because QB’s know that they’ll get their money & they’ll be financially situated so why complain when your family is good to go ??
