As a tall person (6'2), I've never reflected over the fact that I see the top of people's heads nor do I really feel much taller than my shorter friends as it is their face you focus on, making them feel about the same height.

At least being short makes you insecure in a feminine way. Being tall makes you insecure because people literally won't shut up about your height. If tall women had a dime for everytime they're asked "do you play basketball" they'd all be billionaires.
Rather, being 'too' tall or 'too' short can make you insecure. I'm extremely short and petite and look like a teenage school kid even though I'm in my 20s, and it's a huge source of anxiety in my life, people will still treat me like a child despite knowing my age. But I feel being 'too' tall would probably be a worse experience for myself and many other girls since people would notice you way more.
