Yelp review of Pie Hole: I am amazed by the speed of the service and the quality of the food that’s served here. I really enjoyed my meat pie I got and the waitress who served it is quite friendly, but I can tell that she REALLY wants to make small talk with us. I know they changed their name to “Warm and Smelly,” but I simply refuse to acknowledge it on principle. 5/5 ⭐️
They're figuring out the grabbers, guys! I'm so proud.
Couple tips for runs like this, when you have this large of groups, you HAVE to focus on clearing tables and letting peoples patience hold off as long as you can. You have to get through the outside line as soon as you can during a rush

When it says that it makes the queue more patient it is talking about people waiting at the door.

Edit: it’d be great if you can have an option to change difficulty if devs could ramp up difficulty between builds.
The diamond increases the patience of people *outside* not inside that's why it says queue patience just so y'all know also I notice towards the end that aenna didnt pick up any plates when she was waiting for the food even though the queue was super long
There was not enough space to put any dishes it was only one counter in there. Honestly I think one person can handle cooking. Just keep one designated dishwasher and a runner who gets the dishes and helps put out orders

I'm still unclear to if the Stumpt crew know to that you can bring a side to the table or even on the different diners plates. Because diners can pass the dish across the table. Instead of reading the table as a veggie pie w/ broc and a meat pie, it could also be read as one of each pie with one side of broc. I feel like the Stumpt crew should know this to decrease to fear of sides, as they have loss to sides a lot in the past and have since swear them off. I think I saw other streamer learn this in there first or second playthroughs. But on the counter point this kitchen is too hectic to learn this trick and panic horses are ingrained into them. And you need to make a mistake to learn a trick, and still recover from it to learn that it works.
11:17 You could put the pot stack in the corner as you guys have only used One pot a day. Putting something that is only used once in the corner is better than denouncing corner counter as useless forever. Corners are valuable real estate in the kitchen. You could place a counter in any corner as storage, or sink or a conveyer or even two conveyers. No more corner hate! There are so many other alternatives. Plus that corner counter could have stored a second pot of cooked broccoli, which could have saved the run.
Please make a second pot of broccoli.

I notice a lot that many people (not just you guys) forget about the mop during the rush phases and then the messes get to be a problem.
So another perosn commented this and I liked the idea, try and have someone be like “the mop person” this may be a good duty for whoever is doing dishes and/or serving.
two things: 1. as a serverrr **Aenne voice** this really does parallel the stresses and cooperation in a restaurant setting. Its not one for one (obvi) but like the stress of getting an order wrong and having to plead to the kitchen while your table sits and stares at thier food waiting for the last entrée? Yea thats real lol the sass from the kitchen, also real and veryyy well warranted, you can see how it throws off the groove lol
2. I cannot waaaaaaait for Price to play with Rik and get all the juicy tips and bring them back, yalls progress will skyrocket im sure of it.

A great run, y'all! I was there in the Twitch chat during the stream, and adding the integration to include chatters in the game as customers was really cool. It was nice to see people interact in chat while they were dining together. I hope to see more of PlateUp!

I think if aenna just focus on serving food, they would be better. let ash do all the cleaning. if both are moving the plates. people will get their food late and leave late as well. There are many times where two tables worth of food are ready, but only a single table get their food and the other have to wait for aenna to move plates. Anyway guys, I love the series. Keep it coming!

hello i would like to inform you guys how decorations work because nearing the end it looked like aenne was placing decorations in a unhelpful way
decorations generally give a +1 or +2 but you need a +3 to have any form of effect as shown by a very bright blue dot and when you walk up to a table it tells you the benefits it has
now for an opinion i have i feel like rugs, chandeliers, wall lights, and paintings are some of the best decorations because they dont impede movement in any way which means you have much more room for tables another thing is different decorations have different ranges some even have global range those are also good because you can put them far away from your tables and it will still help you might and im not sure on this next part but you might be able to put them in a different room like say the useless corner in the kitchen

Small tweak, Aenne could push out two veggie pies to two sole customers, letting two customers in, shortening and calming the queue outside. Since there were the last three groups outside, you would've totally made it to the end. But it's stressful and stuff, so it's understandable. If you have troubles with a mad queue, you should totally invest in Fancy (diamonds) decorations. Although you had some troubles with reading what level one of fancy does, in short:
Level 1: Increased queue patience
Level 2: Customers pay more for dishes
Level 3: Queue stops table patience

The dishes always ends up being the problem. Prioritizing dishes makes for an easy run
Ehh, this time it was more that there were too many customers waiting in line to be seated. Then they started also getting overwhelmed with the amount of orders being placed and stopped functioning as well. I noticed towards the end Aenne could've served some tables with the pies they had available to clear up space but as I said, the sheer quantity would overwhelm anyone lol. Prioritizing is key in this game
Build up the diamonds, you'll eventually max out to where the outside line will pause the people eating wait time.
So if the people inside see a line outside they will have infinite patience for their orders until the line is cleared.
It will really help.
The system is down being said made me start singing the strong bad techno song
I wonder if grabbers can make the salads? take one counter, 5 grabbers, 2 mixers and the plates. One grabber taking a plate, one taking the lettuce to the mixer, then another taking it to the plate and the same for the tomatoes. However I doubt that this will be possible due to the rng and not being able to get the needed devices, but I would love to see if it works.

Regarding why they ramped up the difficulty. The play testers got into quite high days regularly. Once they got a run into day 40. It took 6h.
If that is your frame of reference of course you would make the Game harder.
Now these people optimize their layout way beyond what you guys are doing but that is fine. Just enjoy your time.

Why don't you put the pots in the "useless, hard to reach" corner since you use it once a day at the beginning and never again? Save you one more space for pie.
I wonder if they swapped the kitchen and the dining rooms, if they could get more space for tables.

I was so sad when you guys did not save the two fireplaces you had, that would have made tons of money later on.
Also I don’t know if u realized but the oven seems to be way faster that the microwave but the microwave can’t burn a food item so that’s the upside
I flinched as soon as they picked lunch rush after seeing it on rik's channel lol. Otherwise I think there wasn't really anything to improve this run. Great job guys!

It'll be better if you guys put sink & plate stack near to the kitchen bar, which is top left corner.
So Aenne & Ash don't need to walk long distance to put dirty plates at bottom right room.
With the plate stack near(inside/outside) to kitchen bar, Aenne can grabs the clean plate herself without Jas/Price help, as kitchen boys is kinda busy😂
You can be put pot stack at the corner of the kitchen, as you may only use the pot once or twice to cook broccoli a day.
You guys should get more homy things.
aenne is so good at this I am actually excited every time I watch. That being said I love all of you playing this and hope you keep playing it. I totally support it.

Yelp Review from Japan: I heard about the new pie shop. Haven't had a chance to visit the shop yet. Only watched the CCTV which showed good team work. I wonder if the owners might want to put the pot of brocolli on a barrel in the dining area and the server called Ms Aenne could do the broc serving. 🌟🌟🌟🌟💫4.999/5 stars - saving 0.1 star for when I can eat at the pie shop there myself.

I feel like dish should be out of kitchen and place prep station instead of counter ideallly make things so much easier on both sides. Unless they are doing salad that is.
