Blimey I've heard of elbow grease but not of an elbow torque wrench, new one on me Geeza.
Great rides up here North O' The Boarder. I like nothing better of an afternoon than a quick trip up to The Rest And Be Thankful and there to watch Mountain sliding gracefully across the road.

Hi jemglen, there are some great rides to be had over there, if you get over that way again we'll have to meet up!

Lovely run mate, beats that Fylingdales A169, which is the road I know that runs parallel. It does seem dull by comparison when you get to flatter rich farms of the Vale of York. Like you, I prefer it up on the moors, away from the bustle. To get that on the coast, you've got to go way north. Maybe's one for us to ponder?
You always find the gems, even when you miss the target!

    Hi triumpht120rv cheers,

Too bad you have to point to the right for drivers to know where to drive! That was a close call. Nice country. I heard it rains in England occasionally too. ;-). How a bit a bit of footage in a tea house? Thanks for the ride. Cheers from Canada!

    Hi MrSceptical :-)
I will look in to the Carbeth next time I'm up there, I Have done Loch Lomand, a great ride, but not liking M/way riding I usually go to Greenoch and get the ferry to Dunoon and make that my first camp stop and head north from there. Looks like I'll have to bite the bullet and ride an M/way.
But my torque wrench is longer than my tool roll '-)
My elbow clicks around 18lb ft does that count :-D

    Hi Pete :-)
the A169 is a nice scenic road and you can get a great view when the steam trains go through, but it is a bit sameee and straight in places, how far north are you thinking :-) NW for me every time.

When I've fixed the clutch drag on my '65 TR6 I will show you my part of Scotland on Video.
I enjoyed yer engine rebuild Video.
Question: did you lose yer torque wrench. :0)

Och Aye Laddie we're very close to Loch Lomond tha noo.. Chech out The Carbeth Inn (Bikers Boozer) just Norff of Glasgi
Tried all the above, multi plate clutches are crap,.Its the same on my CB 400F2, had that to pieces a few time in my thirty odd years of ownership. I am going to try TQF as a primary lube, it works for the clutches in Auto Trans,.
Now go and find that Torque wrench and pull that head down while it cold
3/8 bolts 18lb ft, 5/16 bolts 15lb ft , you know it makes sense :0)

      Hi Steve :-)
Its lovely round here, we have some great rides within a stones throw of the industrial town where I live. (lookup Redcar Cleveland UK) that's a few miles from me.
We have just lost the steel works, thanks to cheap imports and back handers no doubt GRRR! been making steel round here since 1917 pooof! all gone.
Steel works going cheap if you know anyone.
I do me best at riding safe, but as you'll know you, need eyes up your a$$e.
We'll have to klank buckets when you get here :-)

By stopping I think I meant about seeing if you needed help. No way I roll by a fellow rider or even people in cars without seeing if they need help. It is just the right thing to do.
