Funny story about not having enough extension; About two years ago, I bought a used washing machine. The agitator was with it but not bolted down. Told my wife to go to the parts house and buy the longest 3/8 extension they had. I had no idea they made 3 foot long extensions. When she got home she showed it to me and my eyes got as big as q-balls. Anyway, I bolted down the agitator and put the extension in my box thinking I would probably never use it again. A year later, the starter went out on my truck. The easiest way to access the bolts was from the wheel well. I didn't really feel like removing the tire and I remembered that I had that 3ft extension. It made the job infinitely easier changing the starter.
Aftermarket crank sprockets seem like such a huge risk, ive been dealing with this 1st hand the last week. I think im gon a go oem even tho im super charging it.

Where do you find all of the information for the engine build. The white papers you were referencing to for the torque specs and everything? Thanks
Would love to know this as well. I’m going to be building my Coyote over the winter. This info would definitely help.

Didect injector teflon seals should be replaced every time. Was there any leaks with the old seals?
on second motor and it rattles like crazy.. maybe you can move to Canada and build me a motor that don't rattle?
Lol, Too bad I have zero interest in moving to Canada. I'm moving to South Dakota soon instead.
@@CrazedPerformanceRepair yea our weather sucks and our commie loving dictacker justine sucks also.

Be careful with that blower belt. Have you seen Cletus issues yet? If not you might want to check out his channel.
Very rad, great technical input with the roadblocks encountered.
this motor was not as cut and dry as most people think, especially when you mix in aftermarket parts. Theres lots of tricks to these things.
Seems to be that way with most engines. These DOHC engines are even more of a treat though then most.
