Imagine the bang to move that much concrete.
I read the locals saw chunks flying over a mile.

A number of the bunkers at Wolfsshanze had a massive concrete shell built over the original structures. When originally built, not 100% sure on the numbers, roughly 3 meter thick roofs. When they became concerned that it would be targeted for aerial bombardment later in the war, Organization Todt came in and built massive outer shells that added another roughly 5 meters to the roof and a few meters to the outer perimeter of several of the more critical bunkers. By that point, those things would have been nearly impervious to just about any conventional bomb of the time. To do what they did to that particular bunker, which was probably even more reinforced than the others for obvious reasons, they must have loaded it up with literally tons of whatever explosive they used.

I've seen many vlogs here but I have never seen anyone go inside, crawl through the nooks and crannies to see what's there! Oftentimes I've wondered. Fantastic job guys you've all went above and beyond! Thanks to you all!!!

One of the things I appreciate about this series is the way you’ve properly explored the ruins. That’s been the way that most of us would have looked around as well! You’ve went the extra mile to show every little part of it. Cheers!👍🇬🇧

@@IKS-Exploration i bet! And the way those hige pieces of concrete were thrown around it mustve been pretty violent for anyone in the vicinity! I would love to do what you guys are doing, first place id like to see is Oradour-sur-Glane. I hear its still in pretty much the same condition as they left it after the atrocities. Have you guys ever been there?

I am amazed but it would have been hard to destroy with what means they had back then with the protection being so thick. Did you find the meeting room where the assignation attempt took place I think they did repair it from what I remember slept through two years of studying the life of Adolf because I was against it

Seems to me you should have used image stabilization in making this video (and others). The constant jitter/moving is very annoying.

I can only imagine what it mustve been like to be in the place where Von Stauffenberg attempted to stop the madness that was ww2. Even if its just a burned out husk.
