Hey all. So this video talks about how to make your cars handle better and was also useful for AFK Goliath (which has now been patched). I turn the Ferrari 599XX Evo into something that can lap Goliath very fast, while explaining my setup, upgrades and tuning logic. Check the descro[tion for tunes and custom event blueprints!
Installing the roll cage does add weight, but it can also improve weight distribution, which in turn improves handling (at least for front-engine RWD cars). It's best to check the weight balance number, and if it moves closer to 50% after roll cage then you're improving handling. If it doesn't change, don't bother with it. That's my two cents.
@@ATribeCalledCars me too! I find myself listening to reggae one day and folk music another 😂. What I like about hip hop so much is the sampling! it can make one genre so versatile and with albums like madvillainy and IGOR, just bending the barriers so much to make rap even feel like a different genre!
@@fettywapsmissingeye I inherited Grandmaster Flash on vinyl so I totally agree about the samples thing. And yeah country can be cool, grew up with Aswad and soul music so it's all good to me! Except bloody mumble rap. That's my limit lol.
From other posters the solution that worked for me is as follows: plug in controller with no batteries, start running a Spotify playlist (make sure it’s on repeat), plug in headphones to the controller and then jump into FH5 and you’re off to the races. I’ve done a 25 lap race of Goliath (and several 10-lap races) without the controller shutting off.
This is actually a problem in most games happens to me in Apex Legends all the time until (like others have said), I removed the batteries while it was plugged in.
I’ve got your X5 FE tune and it’s getting faster around Goliath, first time I ran it afk it was hitting 10:23 best lap, yesterday it hit 10:08 after a few steps in between. I guess they built in AI learning to the auto-steer and assists, or is there another factor? Even loosening the rubber band a bit I’m still seeing faster laps than the first time. I’m not sure I could do better actually driving myself.
Yeah at that level of tune it's hard to drive, even more so for the really high downforce cars like the Vulcan AMR and Sesto Elemento. The 599XX Evo is also tough. I would assume the time difference is because one is a rolling lap? But maybe something else is going on.
Not yet, I would imagine the delayed hotfix update is when we may see some changes. But I think a few glitches such as the barrel roll have been stopped.
@@ATribeCalledCars I see least hope so they don't remove them cuase they are good races to get credit and level I am trying to find a car with a tune that can stay on the tracks mine always lose track and I got to restart the race can you tell me a car and a good tune
Your AFK 5 lap race on horizon 5 is messed up bro! You absolutely need to fix the starting point! Every single time I go across it and turn around it tells me I missed it and makes me turn right back around even when I get halfway down the road! It dont count it! I had to do a double lap over n over multiple times
Goliath or something else? I haven't changed a thing so perhaps some meddling has happened. Not had a chance to check it all either but I know my 599XX Evo tune needs tweaking. I think some car values were adjusted.
@@ATribeCalledCars when in a straight line the driver does a movement like a race driver does when under caution. Swerving back and forth like they are trying to keep the tires warm. However this happens at high speeds and anything above 150 mph. It's a sudden thing where the driver starts trying to fish tail the car and it lost any traction it had and imediately spins out. Idk why it's doing this but I would like it to stop. This has cost me alot of time and money and has lost a few races

Is it possible to get that speed with just auto tune?
@@theycallmebigfoot You can give it a go, the auto tune can work well but at higher classes it might not be sufficient.

Makes sense, I shall test this out in my full tuning video. In Forza Horizon 4 there seemed to be an illusion of complexity.
Ben: Gets a video ridiculously high on trending
Also Ben: *I'll fuckin' do it again*
Lightning rarely strikes twice in the same place! But for those who want to make their own tunes it could be useful. I hope...
Just discovered this channel.
As a huge hip hop head, your name gave me a chuckle. subbed!
Hip hop is awesome, but I love so many genres too. Thanks for stopping by my slice of the internet.

@@ATribeCalledCars same, mumble rap is not my thing.
I grew up in the hood with jazz, soul and Tyler the creator 🤣
Just a quick question. While afk, my controller keeps disconnecting, even while plugged in. Any tips?
Apparently it's because the Xbox can read a data USB cable. Not charging only. So worth seeing if that is your issue.

About time they fixed this😄
Yeah the rewards are apparently lower but I've not tested yet.
@@ATribeCalledCars and something with an afk check?
@@bhizahr Was working for me after two laps but maybe after longer. Not had a chance to test.

That's weird, same USB cable and everything else?

I would assume it's something the developers are doing behind the scenes but nothing is official.
how do you solve the sawing at the wheel in a straight line?

You breeze over Gearing. Most vehicles are not setup automatically
Did I not say you need to extend if you hit the limiter? There are various techniques but generally road layouts negate the need to be too specific.
That cat has it rough
Cats really do feature in a lot of negative expressions. As a cat fan it's not the best lol.
