Gonna try your v2 next run, almost everybody's tune for the Sesto feels scuffed as the hairpin turn could potentially end your run if the car gets stuck certain ways; some are pinned straight ahead and can't move, or vertically and again, can't move. Had it happen 4-5 times now testing and retesting various tunes. If you put manual on and leave it stuck at 5th, a whole lap is about 10-10:15 long, which isn't much faster than the Senna on stock. Last night I was getting laps between 9:15-9:30, so that half minute+ adds up over 50 laps lol.
@@ihaveabeard Mine turns in nicely, bit slower to help the AI brake in time. Potentially adds a fair few seconds to the lap time but overnight it is not so bad and I think the natural ability of the Sesto will help anyway.
Completed it about an hour ago 25 laps using the BMW M5 FE with the tune you listed no issues. 4 hours 20 minutes 17 seconds. No issues. So it still works. Thank you again for the tunes and tips. Definitely subscribed.

If you're going to do the first method, once you're done spending your points in say a willys or supra, make sure to gift that car to get your points refunded. Also you can purchase the cars faster through the car collection screen. Btw this is a great video.
For anyone having issues with your controller disconnecting after 15 mins plugging a headset into the controller and plugging the controller into power worked for me
You can use the build mode to do a barrel roll and glitch the game to give you constant points. Also you can afk drive on the highway runs and do max laps

1:35 - "Prepare to spend a lot of time in the Autoshow" Actually, there's a really good work around to make this quicker. Once you've bought a car once, you can buy additional copies of it directly from your collection screen. and doing it this way doesn't trigger any cutscenes or anything so you can just buy one after another, quite quickly.

I was gonna do a 1 lap run to try it out but figured I'd just go straight to the 25 to test it and keep an eye on it for the first 5-10 laps. Then I'll go ahead and watch TV and nap lol
I tried playing music on Spotify AND plugging in my headset and it hasn't cut off in 30 minutes. I think this one actually works!!! Update: this work definitely, I did it o er night with the Senna, took a lil less than 9 hrs, and didn’t crazy using race lines

If you just want money, I prefer to make maps and get money off of downloads because if it’s a successful map, not only you get lots of money from downloads but you also get to feel proud that you created something that the community enjoys

So I'm racing my own 50 lap afk Goliath and the F40 Ferrari barn find is working pretty good as well, it crashed on two turns, but rewinds and continues. Overall pretty good.
If you have a good pc and have a keyboard with macros you could do it without bands, straps or controllers just toggle one button and 50 laps round the goliath happens.
The Lotus Evija is the most reliable car I've tried with the 50 lap, overnight, AFK Goliath. I upgraded it to X999 and it has, on average, about 11 minute 20 second laps so it's not the fastest ever but I've never had a single crash. Note that this is on PC; my Xbox One S isn't as good of a driver and did have several crashes at the bridge where it's just stuck against the environment.

Your English is good! I think the developers might be trying to fix the issue so maybe my tunes aren't as reliable now. But stock car with handling upgrades should work! Glad the subtitles help.
The super wheel spin tip is awesome if you're looking for a car that was released during a previous season. You'll have a small chance to get it from a wheelspin. If im not mistaken you can get any car in the game except for car pass cars from wheelspins

Wondering will you be doing a tuning guide? Enjoying FH5 a lot more than I think I would, I want to dive into the tuning part of the game, but my knowledge of cars in general is very limited. There is not much tuning guide on TH-cam at the moment, of course do it for us and not for the views. 😉

See the problem with playing the game as intended, is that it is virtually identical to the last, just in a different environment. I mean, even the voice acting and overall vibe of it hasn't changed since the first horizon. I understand it's a motor racing game and there can only be so much you can do or change to make it feel new and honestly I still love it, but I believe many can't be bothered playing the same thing over and over and over again. And are more happy to glitch the game or whatever to get money, to build cars and just explore the map and race with friends. Obviously this is only my opinion, and the opinion of others I have played forza with for years.
My review on the website talked about this. I have a feeling the shelf life will be shorter. Seems like a lot of (but not all) reviews came from people new to the series. There isn't that much you can do as you say but it's that familiarity that is probably why so many people are using this trick.
I feel the same. I was very excited but after playing ~8 hours I just don't feel to continue the game because it feels 98% the same as FH4. It feels pointless. The progression of the "story" is barely a progression. Also, I think the rewards are just showering to the player. I have the bare bone standard game with the Xbox pass but i already have almost 3 million and 50 cars. You can get cars to easily. You don't have the: "Wow a new car I can't wait to triyout". Instead, you feel like: "Oh yeh..... another new car that i will forget after 5 minutes because I will get another within 10 minutes -.-."
The issue with the official Goliath is that canyon segment at the beginning. Just too much can go wrong. I just made my own goliath that bypassed that part so it's 100% safe and utilizes some of the highway to help build up skill XP.
@@Quentinrock Definitely got TCS, ABS and Stability Control on? You could try a stock Senna, that probably works if my tune still doesn't work. It's odd how it works so well for me but not others.
If it’s difficult to plug the controller into the console, you can also plug it into a wall adapter. Just thought I’d put that out there because mine’s kind of inaccessible lol

I used the FE X5 for my first 50 lap goliath, and it worked like a charm. I mean it was kinda slow with a lap time of 10min 46sec ish every lap. I then tried the FE huracan last night and it span out and got stuck at that really slow 180 turn a few mins into the lap. I noticed it got stuck on lap 14/50 and had been stuck all night xD Dno if i used a bad tune on my FE huracan, but it did do laps at 9 min 24sec each lap

I've done the single lap with the BMW a few times (works great, thank you!) but I don't know how to set maybe 5 laps in one go as the race just starts with 1 lap every time? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
When you click on the goliath instead of clicking on the first thing that comes up (before going into the pre race menu) go all the way to the left and you will see the event lab click on that and from their go to all time greats and you'll find multiple options ranging from 10 lap afk to 50 lap afk ones
Or instead you can make your own and instead of going to the single one or ones that other people made you can make your own my going to the one in the middle and you have full access and customization. If you need more detail just search how to customize the the Goliath
If anyone has an xbox series 2 elite controller i found this weird thing where if you have the trigger lock on the highest setting then pull the trigger down and switch the setting to a lower one it holds the trigger in place for you
I have tried to do the AFK Goliath but my BMW M5 with a Goliath tune keeps crashing around the train tracks and sometimes gets up but can get stuck. Any way to prevent this?
For the BMW M5 download a tune that has top speed of 151 I forgot the code or name but you should able to find it searching through tunes. I did the 50 lap twice and it works great. You’ll never crash and car handles great around tight corners.
Works well. Solved controller disconnect by connecting to console with usb 3. Need to tweak 599xx settings to be more reliable currently speed gearbox limited to 215mph and laps with out crashing. 40lap race gave 600+ mastery tokens capped @ 999 and 160+ spins
figured out a trick with the lambo, dont use 100% throttle, aim for 50-60% and you wont spin at all and still achieve 11:23min lap times EDIT: Used zipties to achieve this
You can buy willys in the car collection menu and you don't have to go through and you can tell which cars you haven't done cuz it will be labeled as new
Haha this is great.. i found a good tune that won’t crash during an afk race, at least not so far, 15 laps and counting.. At first i put my 3080 to 1440p high, instead of 4k extreme, but then i thought, hey, i still have an xbox one x lying around, what does it matter it’s only 30 fps if i’m afk 😂 So now i’m farming goliath, and at the same time i’m playing far cry 6 on pc 😂
@@jamesbouvard3857 i can’t tell you untill my race is finished haha, i have 25 laps running as the supreme trial now, after that i will let a 50 lap run go through the night.. i use the x5 forza edition, and no traction control and stability control. I searched for afk in tune description, got a tune that did not show at the first screen. And i don’t know this for sure, but it could farm you less skillpoints, because of a lower topspeed, but it will bank them more often, so maybe it’s the same, didn’t try.. I rather have a race that finishes haha. I will let you know the name of the tune later
Just finished my 25 lap race Results (double for 50laps) 4h43m54s total 11m.20s.481ms best lap time 1.551.006 xp 55 wheelspins Credits i don’t know exactly bc i did not check before, but it’s between 4-5 million Tune: Robust AFK from Rocklxd After this, i got even more millions and great cars from the wheelspins. Tomorrow morning i will know if 50 laps will be a succes too 😂 Only a game crash could stand in my way now i guess
@@rocketracer111 bmw x5 forza edition with tune and settings i mentioned in my previous comment. Now doing my second 50 laps, at lap 15 and no problems so far. After wheelspins, and using around 50 of the skillpoints for the willys trick, i had around 40 million, starting from 4 haha.. And got a lot of car mastery’s and new cars. I created a goliath blueprint for 50 laps without drivatars, locked to unbeatable, hot season, early afternoon, time fixed. Rest of settings unchanged.. This way it works for me.
I got the sesto FE for my first Forza edition car continuing my luck of being “that guy who will run the dungeon once and get the rarest item that the team has been grinding 9 months for”
I think its patched. I did it overnight 50 laps. I received everything wheelspins, levels, money. But i cant buy anything in auction house and when i restart my game its all dissapeared.
If you’re using Xbox, make sure controller is plugged in to the actual controller and not the battery pack. Next in order to make it stop disconnecting is to use another band to hold the right analog stick down so it keeps the camera view changed. That should fix it and it’s been working for me!
On Xbox my controller seems to disconnect after about 15-20 minutes of driving with just the trigger held down. I also don’t plug my controller into my Xbox so that could be the reason why. But just wanted to give a heads up. Might wanna just pan the camera once every 10 minutes or so to avoid that.

You'll still get good rewards, however it appears zero Drivatars equals Unbeatable in rewards. But you will find it tough to beat unbeatable AI in AFK mode so I just remove all opponents.
That's the 50 lap Goliath AFK. It's a bigger bonus if you run in a convoy and use a car with the right boosts such as speed and XP event bonus at the end.

I've had horrible luck with the Seston on AFK Goliath. Usually it just gets irreparairably stuck somewhere, wasting precious time and energy having the PC on overnight.
i don't know if anyone has mentioned this, the autoshow part for the jeep is completely unnecessary. You can just open the car collection and hit purchase without going through any of the screens. I just bank chains goofing off in my hoonicorn then buy a few jeeps, spin, and repeat. I never see videos mention that you can purchase from the car collection screen anywhere on the map and not the autoshow.
Used this the day you made the video, worked like a dream, yesterday and today it's like the car forgets to steer on some of the corners. Used the BMW and the lambo. Has there been a patch?
No patch, the developer just said the first hot fix is being pushed back (maybe partly because of the AFK glitch). But behind the scenes stuff? I have no idea. I guess it's possible.
hi i have a little problem, i add your goliath afk 5 laps and buy the Lambo Sesto Elemento FE and apply the tunes 117 606 025. All bends are goods except the big 180° at 1"30 ~ the car literally crash in the moutain.
Confirmed, I just did the 50 lap test and it failed at 9h:48m. I was only at 44 laps, and the car stayed crashed for about 2 hours until I woke up and put it back on the road. Graphics were all the way down on 1024x756 on a 11700k/3070/32gb. So it's not my computer lol!

To fix the disconnect issue unplug battery and plug the USB in or used a hardwired controller. My razer wired never disconnects

If you just want money, I prefer to make maps and get money off of downloads because if it’s a successful map, not only you get lots of money from downloads but you also get to feel proud that you created something that the community enjoys

So I'm racing my own 50 lap afk Goliath and the F40 Ferrari barn find is working pretty good as well, it crashed on two turns, but rewinds and continues. Overall pretty good.
If you have a good pc and have a keyboard with macros you could do it without bands, straps or controllers just toggle one button and 50 laps round the goliath happens.
Or bind accelerator to spacebar and place something heavy on it.

Mine gets stuck on some log cabin every few laps and when I use the X5 it crashes at the bridges in the canyon...
The Lotus Evija is the most reliable car I've tried with the 50 lap, overnight, AFK Goliath. I upgraded it to X999 and it has, on average, about 11 minute 20 second laps so it's not the fastest ever but I've never had a single crash. Note that this is on PC; my Xbox One S isn't as good of a driver and did have several crashes at the bridge where it's just stuck against the environment.
Did 30 laps last night with the lambo elemto or whatever no problems now today with any car my car won’t break through turns idk how to fix it
X5M gets 11 min 20's and it's S2 998 no upgrades or tunes needed. Did three 50 lap runs and no issues at all.

Your English is good! I think the developers might be trying to fix the issue so maybe my tunes aren't as reliable now. But stock car with handling upgrades should work! Glad the subtitles help.

I created my own route on the highway 50 laps. I tried Goliath but I woke up on lap 3 with my car stuck I spun out 🤦♂️

Wondering will you be doing a tuning guide? Enjoying FH5 a lot more than I think I would, I want to dive into the tuning part of the game, but my knowledge of cars in general is very limited. There is not much tuning guide on TH-cam at the moment, of course do it for us and not for the views. 😉
Tuning guide is definitely coming, I did one for Forza Horizon 4. My videos are always for people, not views. Hence probably slower growth than I could have but I'm happy! Anyway the video will really pick apart what stuff does and whether to bother. Stay tuned :)

See the problem with playing the game as intended, is that it is virtually identical to the last, just in a different environment. I mean, even the voice acting and overall vibe of it hasn't changed since the first horizon. I understand it's a motor racing game and there can only be so much you can do or change to make it feel new and honestly I still love it, but I believe many can't be bothered playing the same thing over and over and over again. And are more happy to glitch the game or whatever to get money, to build cars and just explore the map and race with friends.
Obviously this is only my opinion, and the opinion of others I have played forza with for years.
My review on the website talked about this. I have a feeling the shelf life will be shorter. Seems like a lot of (but not all) reviews came from people new to the series. There isn't that much you can do as you say but it's that familiarity that is probably why so many people are using this trick.
I feel the same. I was very excited but after playing ~8 hours I just don't feel to continue the game because it feels 98% the same as FH4. It feels pointless. The progression of the "story" is barely a progression. Also, I think the rewards are just showering to the player. I have the bare bone standard game with the Xbox pass but i already have almost 3 million and 50 cars. You can get cars to easily. You don't have the: "Wow a new car I can't wait to triyout". Instead, you feel like: "Oh yeh..... another new car that i will forget after 5 minutes because I will get another within 10 minutes -.-."
Ferrari 599 XX fully modded with wider stance does well too had mine do a 10.5 minute lap on Goliath.
I just made a tune for it, definitely a good car. New video shows it in action :)
The issue with the official Goliath is that canyon segment at the beginning. Just too much can go wrong.
I just made my own goliath that bypassed that part so it's 100% safe and utilizes some of the highway to help build up skill XP.
I made one too, but the AI drives it so slowly. Did you manage a workaround?

@@Quentinrock Definitely got TCS, ABS and Stability Control on? You could try a stock Senna, that probably works if my tune still doesn't work. It's odd how it works so well for me but not others.

I used the FE X5 for my first 50 lap goliath, and it worked like a charm. I mean it was kinda slow with a lap time of 10min 46sec ish every lap. I then tried the FE huracan last night and it span out and got stuck at that really slow 180 turn a few mins into the lap. I noticed it got stuck on lap 14/50 and had been stuck all night xD Dno if i used a bad tune on my FE huracan, but it did do laps at 9 min 24sec each lap

You've got a bad tune. Haven't had problems with mine in 100+ laps.

Yeah any race or a custom route. It's just because 50 laps is the maximum and Goliath is longest and fastest that it works well.

Hi there Racers. Would someone be able to tell me how I set a Goliath race with many laps please? I've done the single lap with the BMW a few times (works great, thank you!) but I don't know how to set maybe 5 laps in one go as the race just starts with 1 lap every time? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
When you click on the goliath instead of clicking on the first thing that comes up (before going into the pre race menu) go all the way to the left and you will see the event lab click on that and from their go to all time greats and you'll find multiple options ranging from 10 lap afk to 50 lap afk ones
Or instead you can make your own and instead of going to the single one or ones that other people made you can make your own my going to the one in the middle and you have full access and customization. If you need more detail just search how to customize the the Goliath

If anyone has an xbox series 2 elite controller i found this weird thing where if you have the trigger lock on the highest setting then pull the trigger down and switch the setting to a lower one it holds the trigger in place for you
I have tried to do the AFK Goliath but my BMW M5 with a Goliath tune keeps crashing around the train tracks and sometimes gets up but can get stuck. Any way to prevent this?
Best brakes, lightweight as much as possible, best tyres, maximum downforce. Then reduce horsepower and hope the AI can do its thing!
For the BMW M5 download a tune that has top speed of 151 I forgot the code or name but you should able to find it searching through tunes. I did the 50 lap twice and it works great. You’ll never crash and car handles great around tight corners.

Works well. Solved controller disconnect by connecting to console with usb 3. Need to tweak 599xx settings to be more reliable currently speed gearbox limited to 215mph and laps with out crashing. 40lap race gave 600+ mastery tokens capped @ 999 and 160+ spins
Did you see my other video? I tune the 599XX specifically for Goliath/ less oversteer. It's pretty rapid and the principles apply for other cars.
figured out a trick with the lambo, dont use 100% throttle, aim for 50-60% and you wont spin at all and still achieve 11:23min lap times
EDIT: Used zipties to achieve this
You can buy willys in the car collection menu and you don't have to go through and you can tell which cars you haven't done cuz it will be labeled as new
Haha this is great.. i found a good tune that won’t crash during an afk race, at least not so far, 15 laps and counting.. At first i put my 3080 to 1440p high, instead of 4k extreme, but then i thought, hey, i still have an xbox one x lying around, what does it matter it’s only 30 fps if i’m afk 😂

@@jamesbouvard3857 i can’t tell you untill my race is finished haha, i have 25 laps running as the supreme trial now, after that i will let a 50 lap run go through the night.. i use the x5 forza edition, and no traction control and stability control. I searched for afk in tune description, got a tune that did not show at the first screen. And i don’t know this for sure, but it could farm you less skillpoints, because of a lower topspeed, but it will bank them more often, so maybe it’s the same, didn’t try.. I rather have a race that finishes haha. I will let you know the name of the tune later

After wheelspins, and using around 50 of the skillpoints for the willys trick, i had around 40 million, starting from 4 haha.. And got a lot of car mastery’s and new cars.
I created a goliath blueprint for 50 laps without drivatars, locked to unbeatable, hot season, early afternoon, time fixed. Rest of settings unchanged.. This way it works for me.

I think its patched. I did it overnight 50 laps. I received everything wheelspins, levels, money. But i cant buy anything in auction house and when i restart my game its all dissapeared.

If you’re using Xbox, make sure controller is plugged in to the actual controller and not the battery pack. Next in order to make it stop disconnecting is to use another band to hold the right analog stick down so it keeps the camera view changed. That should fix it and it’s been working for me!

On Xbox my controller seems to disconnect after about 15-20 minutes of driving with just the trigger held down. I also don’t plug my controller into my Xbox so that could be the reason why. But just wanted to give a heads up. Might wanna just pan the camera once every 10 minutes or so to avoid that.

You'll still get good rewards, however it appears zero Drivatars equals Unbeatable in rewards. But you will find it tough to beat unbeatable AI in AFK mode so I just remove all opponents.

I've had horrible luck with the Seston on AFK Goliath. Usually it just gets irreparairably stuck somewhere, wasting precious time and energy having the PC on overnight.
Try it stock with lots or downforce, I think the devs are changing stuff. Hopefully that works better for you.

How long does it take
It's takes most 9 hours and 6 mins but it's worth it if your doing it at night but I would start doing it now it's definitely getting patched soon

i don't know if anyone has mentioned this, the autoshow part for the jeep is completely unnecessary. You can just open the car collection and hit purchase without going through any of the screens. I just bank chains goofing off in my hoonicorn then buy a few jeeps, spin, and repeat. Used this the day you made the video, worked like a dream, yesterday and today it's like the car forgets to steer on some of the corners. Used the BMW and the lambo. Has there been a patch?
No patch, the developer just said the first hot fix is being pushed back (maybe partly because of the AFK glitch). But behind the scenes stuff? I have no idea. I guess it's possible.

hi i have a little problem, i add your goliath afk 5 laps and buy the Lambo Sesto Elemento FE and apply the tunes 117 606 025. All bends are goods except the big 180° at 1"30 ~ the car literally crash in the moutain.
Confirmed, I just did the 50 lap test and it failed at 9h:48m. I was only at 44 laps, and the car stayed crashed for about 2 hours until I woke up and put it back on the road. Graphics were all the way down on 1024x756 on a 11700k/3070/32gb. So it's not my computer lol!
Ouch, maybe some optimisation issue on the devs part. I've not tried on PC.

Sadly a few tunes happened behind the scenes so a few of my tunes no longer work. Bit of a pain but there you go.
Just a question can you do the Goliath glitch with like manly any car or just the bmw and the lambo? I don’t really feel like grinding wheels
Works with cars that are hard to spin. Upgrade brakes, reduce weight, up downforce and don't push the power too much. That is a good place to start.
