- In today's episode, I'm taking you to Hillsboro, OR to shop two amazing antique malls: Snider's and Le'Stuff. I found great art, brass and other decor items I plan to sell in my Etsy shop (links below), plus a few items I plan to keep for myself.
While I was in town, I picked up a bucket list item from Laura Caldwell (Left Coast Revivals). I can't wait to add this amazing item to my collection. :)

I loved the moody painting done by Holly…..really nice! And your wicker owl from Laura is so cute and a great addition to your collection, which I think is so fun😀. The bamboo stool is very sweet and will be perfect for a potted plant. I’m thinking a shop and lunch day in Hillsboro would be a lot of fun. You are so lucky to have a mother who likes to shop with you, and who also has a great eye for amazing finds❤️
Yes, my mom has great taste and she is who I got my love of interiors from! I think the next time you're in town, we should all hit up a few different places. I'm amazed everyday how many shops we have! hugs!!

Another great video, loved seeing you shop with your mom and taking us along somewhere new. Also isn’t it great when you happen upon a vendor who has the same style/taste and you just want to buy it all?!?! The art piece with all of the flowers/arches you showed (but maybe didn’t buy since it wasn’t in your haul) is a piece I see quite often, so curious if it was a lithograph that people painted on top off, or…??? Hope to get up to the Portland area soon, and now maybe need to hit up Hillsboro! 🌸
That artwork definitely had texture on the surface so I think it was painted, but I def know what you mean. So many pieces can fool the eye! You'll have to let me know when you do head to Portland! :)
Crewel is embroidery. (a type of embroidery - there are many types of embroidery). Needlepoint is not embroidery. FYI

So many great finds! Do you have any recommendations on how to locate antique malls and/or fairs like those you visited? I’m in Raleigh NC
Thank you! I usually search Antiques, flea markets or thrift stores "near me" on google and that usually brings up what's around. You have to do all three phrases, because google is dumb and doesn't realize someone who likes antiques might like a thrift store... lol For big vintage events, I usually search facebook's event section and mark ones that look interesting. It you tag interested, then FB will find you like events. You could also DM/PM vintage sellers in your area and ask them where they recommend. They may not tell you their secret spots, but they will usually share some of the good, more well known ones.
