Flight Review: Loganair LM534 (SOU-NCL)

For the third time, and for the first time "post pandemic" the Airline of Scotland- Loganair is finally back!
Having flown them twice with "reduced services" in 2020 and 2021, its time to see how the airline delivers now things are effectively back to normal and to also rack up another Embraer ERJ flight in the process!

Great video, as a Scotsman I may be bias, but I truly believe that Loganair are the best UK airline. In my opinion using the ATRs to Southampton would be a bad move as the sector length would increase making it difficult to operate 4 round trips to EDI and GLA in a day using a single aircraft like they do with the ERJs.

I am surprised the ATR fleet aren't used on the SOU legs from Glasgow or Edinburgh. It could reduce the fares slightly, but who knows.

Cheap and Loganair don't often appear in the same sentence. I always though the reasoning for the high prices on the NWI to ABZ route was it was often off shore workers using it, perhaps it's on every route.

Loganair is always more costly compare to easyJet or BA, but those airlines use planes with 150+ capacity, but Loganair planes carry less than 100 people on all their planes currently.

I have a suspicion that you sat in the exact same seat I did 😂. Fun plane to travel on. Feels very relaxed about boarding but then again it doesn't exactly have an A380s boarding numbers

Its really interesting boarding a wide-body plane when you fly so many short haul or regional aircraft! ✈
