If you enjoy checking out Bangkok and other SE Asia spots, consider subscribing. I'll continue to make videos showing the streets in Bangkok and beyond. Thailand is amazing and a great place to visit, work or retire. I'll do my best to show you how to live affordably in SE Asia. Plus, enjoy some great side trips from Bangkok.
Thanks for sharing your Life in Bangkok experiences. You seem to have a good balance of enjoying occasional indulgences and budget living. Would you consider doing a “how much I spend monthly” type of video, including allowances for things like trips, entertainment, etc. Always helpful to see those kinds of user videos from different perspectives and retirement budgets.
Great video, some very useful tips. I think someone already mentioned you can transfer line to a new number, just need to make sure have email, and password. Also did you know the end of the video cut off very abruptly? Just FYI... 😊
You can transfer Line, but you need to back up conversations, of that's important. The phone book appeared on my new phone, but not past chats. I usually check the ending. Maybe I forgot the transition fade on this one. 2am edit is my excuse. Ha ha
I remember now. The video was 47 minutes long. I split it into two and forgot to put a fade. The thanks for watching was on the second part of the long video. Oh well, out filming the rooftop bar tonight. Keep moving forward
When you return to the US Samsung there often has good trade in deals, I suggest you consider switching to the S23 Ultra or S24 Ultra when it comes out.
The S22 Ultra is still working perfect. I'll get the S24Ultra when it dies. So far the battery is perfect with my #1 goal of low light video. I have three GoPro's and they don't work well in low light at all. plus they overheat and you need to carry six batteries. I love the Samsung S22Ultra
Good Tips and suggestions. I will gradually stay longer and longer in Thailand. Always remember to utilize a bar/restaurant etc Free WiFi . But you are right You 100% should have a VPN.👍🏻
Did you see my comment about transferring line? I'm noticing my comments often don't appear since I had things to say after the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
I'm not sure about that. Head to head test, the Samsung Galaxy S23 beats the iPhone in low light video in most reviews. I don't care about the camera. It's all about video. My S22 Ultra takes way cleaner low light video than my iPhone 11 used, too. The iPhone loves to overheat. I'll shoot for an hour on the Galaxy Ultra, and it's still cool. Plus, I hate editing anything, Apple. I'm gonna stick with the Galaxy Ultra. I'm sure the iPhone 14 is comparable, but I don't want to edit apple clips
@@EagerExpat The Pro Max models are way ahead of the Samsung and get solid 5 years of software updates. The base models are waste of money for both companies.
There's way more one can do with a Samsung than an iPhone. @EagerExpat don't forget to use the S-pen as a remote and you can remotely take photos and videos too.
@@shellcasing1040 I use the S pen once in awhile, but I've always preferred the Galaxy Ultra over the iPhone. My last IPhone was the 11ProMax. It didn't do well in low-light. It liked to overheat after 30 minutes of video. The battery was so/so. No I'm a Samsung guy. iPhone is a great product, but the Samsung fits my need. Plus, I like to edit in Windows
@@harris9436 It's funny, the base model iPhone or Samsung is probably 1000 times more powerful than the computer that landed the Apollo on the moon. They are incredible phones. The PR companies like to convince you that you need the latest $1500 phone every year. Which is crazy. Most people would be fine with a $400 phone. All they do is Tic Tock and text messages. Most people get the latest (Whatever) and never use 99.9% of the features. I said it before, for me it's all about low-light video, with stabilization. I could care less about anything else. My iPhone11Pro didn't do well in low light video. Photo was fine, but video was so/so. Plus, I don't like Macbooks. I need a gaming computer to edit for 12 hours straight. Samsung and Windows is what works for me. The best camera is the one that's in your pocket and a person uses. I have ten thousand dollars of Sony cameras and lenses on the shelf. I hate carrying them around, so are they better than the iPhone or Galaxy? Not to me. I've made hundreds of videos with the Ultra. I'll probably make a 100 more before I use the so called greatest Sony with the best Zeiss lens.

I didn't see any comment about Line. If I get a comment, I answer it.
@EagerExpat I explained how you transfer your line to a new phone without losing your messages. It's easily done.
@tw25rw No, I didn't see that. TH-cam messages often show up a week later.
iPhone camera is way better than Samsung.
