I scored one of these printers at the local Goodwill outlet store for a whopping $8.00. It was sold as-is. It was pretty much complete except there was no filiment holder or power supply. I found a power supply and this printer powered up. I noticed that the nozzle was plugged up. I watched several videos on how to change it. Pretty straight forward, except how do you keep the hotend from turning while trying to remove the nozzle? I preheated the extruder to make it easier to remove, but not knowing how to keep the hotend from turning, I stopped for now. Apparently the thermister is easy to break or damage. Any ideas or recommendations?

Hi, I know it's been a while, but were you able to get it up and running well?

I have a MP200 I got from son-in-law to try it out. The extruder was clogged so I cleaned it, it was chattering when put in home position so I tightened the micro switch to stop that. I got some filament to come through the nozzle but not a lot. I put it to print after preheating to 200 and nothing happens, the extruder does not move, the base does not move, the filament will feed if I tell it to manually but not otherwise. I know the motors work cause if I tell it to go home the base moves to the corner and the extruder moves down and to the front corner. I ordered a replacement nozzle, it will be here in 2 days, then I will try it again. I don't know what is wrong with this but I am not a fan so far.

Hi, I'm interested if you were able to get it to work with the replacement nozzle?

Its wierd, I got it extrude the filament, I can get it to home and everything moves to the front left, but it will not print when I click on print and select any gcode, nothing moves it just sits there. The only thing I can think of is the base is not heating correctly. I set it to 50 but it never gets past 28. I ordered a Ender 3 Neo for $130 that is said to be working perfectly. Maybe someday I will work on the MP200 but I think it's a waste of time considering what out there for cheap.@@ChrisAsipyan
