Here's a video idea. Do a video where you pretend your job is procurement of MS for your country and in a manner of how people would compare which fighter or tanks is perfect for their nation's armed forces. You list out a set of options of MS units you think would be your nation's standard issue MS, listing out pros and cons of each MS for your country before you pick one MS to win the "procurement competition"
Kinda missed the opportunity to mention that 1 Zaku Sniper survived all the way to fighting for the Sleeves, making it probably the longest lived Zaku I in the franchise.
A full video on the Minovsky Particle would be really nice. It feels a little... "varied" in it's rules between series, so it would be nice to have a clear, concise explanation (and times these rules were broken or forgotten)
This is why I love the Zaku series. Very easy to adapt Edit: so much for Zeon being able to fight another ten years with the resources you shipped from Odessa, eh, M'Quve?
I mean, given how many times Zeon kept coming back despite all the losses they took time and time again... The main Zeon force may not have had the time to process everything, but Zeon did seem to have the ability to kickback its forces time and time again, about on par with the Earth Federation.
@@miceltusav88 I don't disagree. There are loads of issues Zeon pulled that constantly saw them failing at every long term objective. But they were still a problem all the way up to Hathaways Flash. So he wasn't wrong on *that* aspect. But yes, OYW Zeon wouldn't be able to keep up the war. More importantly, Zakus are very modular. Which makes it awesome.
Next thing you tell me there's a Zaku II Chef type which functions as a walking mess hall that cooks food for the troops. Think the Ganymede/Pizza Hut collab from Code Geass.
in the SEED version of the Zaku they have a Zaku hospital, which is literally what it says. a Zaku with 3 stories hospital building as a backpack. so i guess a Zaku Kitchen Type would be also possible.
I can never get enough Gundam development lore, really helps flush out the world more. I really wonder if Zeon ever attempted their version of a Gundam, the Gelgoog maybe?
The Gelgoog is somewhat on par with the Gundam performance wise though as for mobile suits more akin to the Gundam in other ways it varies depending on where you pull from. One to consider is the RX-78-Z1 Zeon's Gundam from Gihren's Greed though as merely a captured unit perhaps a more fitting one would be from another alternate UC that being the LRX-077 Sisquiede as while it was built by the Titans it was originally from Zeon, they just never got around to it because of the One Year War ending. At least at the moment those are about the only examples I can think of seeing as in another light all their various Mobile Armors could also be consider in a similar vein or that because of projects like that they never had the means of their own proper Operation V. I suppose in another light the Zeong could also be considered making its fight with the RX-78-2 fitting.
Okay, I like the Dish. It's cute, and it makes sense to a degree. Basically a giant sensor array and some engines. arguably even a lifting body-ish shape Though with the reduced range, maybe something like the Blackbird would work better, leveraging the speed to get up close for a looksie while staying alive. The "flipper" reminds me of the villain, D.A.V.E. from "The Batman" animated series.
He would have thought that it was a wasteful tactic that sacrificed what he called "The mandate of heaven", which means that it makes you look like the aggressor, demoralizes your own people, and stiffens the enemies' resolve to fight, which is exactly what happened. A lot of other colonies would abandon Zeon after Operation Stardust and the Federation would form the Titans as a direct result of the colony drop.
Tbh the colony drop on Australia was unintentional as the actual target was Jaburo but something went wrong and something caused the colony to divert off course a little bit which made it drop on Sydney instead of Jaburo.
@@1wayroad935 Im not gonna doubt Zeon's ill intentions on the colonists that lived in the colony. Kind of surprised you didn’t use more GBO2 footage, a few of the other suits you mentioned actually appear in that game. GBO2 usually does a very good job of making most suits in it look handsome, it’s actually gotten me to like and respect other suits that I initially thought looked too goofy.

I never understood the concept of the "camera gun." If the MS has such a sophisticated mono-eye, then why not just integrate the functionality of the camera gun into the mono-eye? Only 2 reasons I can think of for the camera gun being a seperate "gun," are: A) You can hide the MS behind a building or something, and stick the camera gun around the corner to spy on the enemy. But, in this case, why not just integrate the camera to the arms? It would do the same thing, but also allow the hands/manipulators to carry weapons in case of confrontation. B) In case of an emergency, you can dispose of the camera gun for future retrieval (throw it off a cliff or into a crater) . Or, you can pass it off to an ally to take recorded info back to base. But, again, there's a counter-option. Why not integrate the camera into the mono-eye or arms, and make the recording medium ejectable like an ammo magazine (think of a VHS tape or CD-Rom)? Just eject it and throw it somewhere for future retrieval, or pass it to an ally. (Just watched more of the video) I guess Zeon eventually ditched the camera gun with the Flipper?
I love playing those recon Zakus in GBO2, except most of the time, the other players in my team are showing me their disapproval of the suit choice by simply back meleeing me in the back when they see me.
Kind of a miss opportunity, not having a matte black units, perhaps something like black 2.0 coloured units especially for recon units. While sensors would detect them, its going to be a b17ch for visual detection.
Jacob Nobius upgraded his gelgoog cannon to the xanthos Jacob nobius custom I believe same overall body and head but new backpack and the zeta's hyper mega launcher for improved snipingfirepower
Zaku Flippers seem weird at first but I can tell you from GBO2 experience it can kick your ass. Because I've had my ass kicked lol. Its an electronic warfare suit that disrupts radar as well.
Ive used the Zaku I Sniper Type a number of times in GBO2. I primarily use the long barrel Zaku machine gun though which has served me well. Most dont expect Zaku I Sniper Type to use that gun due to it being dubbed the worst gun in GBO2. But I beg to differ. The worst gun to me is the anti-air zaku machine gun that the Zaku Flipper and the High Mobility Type Zaku II uses in GBO2.
@@projectsinclair The firing rate is what i disliked about it. They call it a machine gun but the fire rate says otherwise. The Long Barrel Zaku machine gun fires in bursts like a triple shot carbine seen in WWII and has to be used accordinly like so. Its meant for potshots/quick reaction shots aka Snap Shots that relies on precision and accuracy to be effective. Ive done some serious damage to players using that gun.
