- Istanbul is struggling with the heaviest snowfall in its history. Tens of thousands of stray cats living on the shores of Istanbul saw snow for the first time in their lives. Everything in this city is frozen today. Cat island froze. People, animals and plants froze. Roads were closed due to heavy snowfall. The seas froze. Do not worry. Our hearts are not frozen. Today we have distributed dozens of cat houses for stray cats. We bought and built cat houses for homeless cats. This is not a gift. This is our debt to stray cats. #adorablepaws #catrescue #kittenrescue
Before watching the video, you should know this. The metropolitan municipality does not allow cat houses to be placed in another area. It is not our own choice to place it on the rocks. Green areas, walking paths and parks belong to the metropolitan municipality. But the rocks and the sea belong to the state. So to us.
We build solid cat houses for stray cats living among the rocks. Rainproof. Snowproof. Cold proof. None of the cat houses we built were destroyed by storms and waves.
If you think that the cats living in the safe zone come here after seeing the cat houses, you are wrong. Even if these cat houses are not here, these cats live among the rocks. Our aim is not to build an unsafe cat city here. Our aim is to build safe cat houses for the kingdom cats have built here. We strive to build safe spaces for cats living in unsafe areas. Let's take a journey through the rocks. Most of the cats here are neutered cats. However, people continue to abandon unneutered cats here. Our channel sterilizes dozens of cats every month. We have to build more cat houses because there are so many cats.

I always have a pack of "Dreamies" in my handbag and refill it with Whiskers when needed, and I take this packet with me whenever I go out for a walk. Because of the blizzard in Turkey, I am looking after 2 cats that have taken refuge in our apartments. There have been complaints, but I cannot bear the thought of them starving in this freezing cold. Although for most people we cannot help the cats and dogs on such a large scale as our dear friends on this channel, but we can all make a small difference to the lives of the animals that come across our paths. Please, I urge all animal lovers to start this habit and trend, and keep a small packet of food in their bags or pockets when going outside. Yes, it may be just a drop in the ocean, but it will certainly make a difference to the lives of the animals we meet. 🐈❤️🐕

There are cat parks in Mersin and Alanya in Turkey. Cats are safe there
and have regular care and shelter.
Why isn't that possible in Istanbul? You could help the City planning such a park as an engineer. It could be an attraction in Istanbul and help so many cats survive and perhaps getting adopted from there. A cat park for spayed and neutered cats. Their meowing in the video is touching and heartbreaking. They are so grateful for your help!
The problem in Turkey is that the cats don't get neutered/ spayed. There are too many of them, but just a few people care for them. The cat houses/ cat parks are better than nothing, but they don't solve the problem. The turkish government and also some people are against neutering, because tourists love the little kitten. In some parts of Turkey especially at the coast they kill the cats regularly when they become to much instead of neutering/spaying. Please watch Videos from turkish animal help organisations and support them!!

I been watching "World of Cats" TH-cam videos made by a young dude who also lives in Istanbul Turkey & feeds stray homeless cats on the street. But now after watching "Adorable Paws" YT videos I have the highest admiration & respect for this couple who truly go out of their way to Help homeless Stray cats& dogs in Istanbul.
From now on I'll happily watch all their videos (AND the adverts TH-cam put in these videos becos I know all the money generated by these Adverts goes to helping these poor animals !) 👍🙂👍

Y'all are angels to these small creatures. Giving them somewhere to have some form of coverage from the elements and feeding them so that their body fat may give them warmth. Though it appears freezing there those cats don't seem to be that bothered or visibly worn down by the weather. Y'all have hearts of gold. May you all live long happy lives. 🙏💛
