I'm kind of a fan hearing Tom mentioning kind of racist or questionable things from his past that he both moved on from and actively mocks. It's important, I think, for people who may share those kinds of values, to see that you can change and can educate yourself. As well as people who are in the process of doing that, to see what it looks like.

agree, but the short mentions do sound abit like "oh I was racist". I know he's gone into details on other vids, although people might not have seen them. Just giving the brief overview of what was wrong in the imperial Japanese flag one helped.
Also, it takes away that excuse for people who still like that. Because you dont have to be like that. You can choose not to be.

Eddie's acting in the sponsored skits they do is highly underrated, he has made me laugh out loud multiple times
There are some people online who aren't a big fan of sketch comedy. My girlfriend is one of them.
She first became introduced to you when i showed her "Content: The Movie" (i.e. the edited version of the "24 Games in 24 Hours" stream). That shit is the funniest thing you've ever made (imo), and it shows that you've 100% still got it.
Also, internet sketch comedy is - dare i say it - sort of a little old now. It was a thing which was at its prime during the earlier days of TH-cam (2007ish-2014ish), with yourself, Jack and Dean, Chris Kendall, Dan and Phil, and others. Times have changed... not least due to TH-cam's stricter content policies. The reason some of your newer sketches might be struggling to gain the same traction is more because of the internet landscape, not the quality of your work.
Don't overthink your work, and don't stress about it. You're a funny man. Keep doing what you do and we'll all keep giggling like it's 2012 again.

I agree with in concept but I'd say there's a bit of common misconception regarding sketch comedy.
I wholehartedly believe that near everyone can love sketch comedy but most of those that claim to not like it have only been exposed to comedic styles or creators that just doesn't suit their tastes.
Claiming as a blanket statement to not like sketch comedy is essentially, in my mind, claiming that people and groups like Monty Python, Tomska, Gus Johnson and the Paul brothers are interchangeable in regards to their creations.

I like the idea that the "hey you thank you for the money" song will extend longer and longer as time goes on as the patrion accrues more and more supporters to the point where it turns into 10 minute prog epic with an intense half time breakdown and some weeeiiiirrrd shit.
The Tom Ska lore is deep and actually pretty interesting there was a lot that I knew and some I had no idea about at all.

2011-ish, A old friend of mine at the time, introduced me to your content / sketches outside of ASDF, videos like "Needles" would have us laughing for hours. I vividly remember seeing the video where your laptop got stollen, I don't remember why at all, but for some reason I took that as being "the end" of you, on TH-cam. Fast forward to like, 2019-ish, I was with a new friend, and I was showing them some of my favorite "old" TH-cam Videos. We watched a bunch of old sketches of yours that I could remember.
At some point I'd said: "Yeah, this guy was hilarious, it's too bad he doesn't post content anymore, kinda miss him"
My friend gives me a confused look, and points to the suggested feed of the screen, "What's that?" He says. I look over and see a video, "Tomska - Posted 7 hours ago"
"Oh shit, he's back!" I think to myself, we watch the video and have a blast. We than go to your TH-cam page (as I was searching videos off of memory,) and damn did I feel like a fool. We spent the whole night watching your sketches, even found "DarkSquidge," and watched hours of that.
Since than, I think I'm just about caught up now, and am familiar with the majority chunk of this Iceberg~

I just noticed that Tomska never mentioned the parody animation that the Korean NSFW animator Minus8 made of Beep Beep I'm A Sheep. The animation isn't exactly NSFW but it does have many s3xu4l elements, alongside references to other things like Um Jammer Lammy and Shaun The Sheep.
My best guess is that either he doesn't know about it or that he didn't included it because it isn't made by him (Even if it is a parody of something he made).

I think I've always kinda been in the less known to obscure regions. I ran into your work in late high school when I think you were in university. I thought (and still do) a lot of those old sketches and Lincoln adverts videos were funny, but enjoyed the real look into you and your friends' lives through stuff like the Day Out series (the first four still give me some of the biggest nostalgia trips to this day to the point where they've almost brought me to tears). Hell, I think I rewatched Bing and Spamcat two weeks ago. You, your past friends, and your current friends have been an enjoyable part of my life. Hell, one of your Day Out videos had a song by Pixelsaur. My dinosaur icon was his picture at that time, and I've used it on every account I've ever made on every platform! I'd love to grab a beer someday if I make it over to the UK and chat. I'll keep the fanboying to a minimum. :D

I also found out not long after that I have depression, so I've related a lot to your content on that. It really means a lot that you've been open and honest about it. A couple years ago I was in a digital it class in school and we were shown asdf movie as insperation for the animations we were about to make. A few years later I found your channel and thought he this guy has a good sence of humor and then realised the connection between you and asdf movie. Incredible.
I actually discovered you via The Orb! I had already seen the hole in a few different fandom memes, but someone made an orb fandom meme, and I was like wait that was a series? and then I was like oh wait this is also the asdf movie guy and then I was like lets watch EVERYTHING
Having been an avid follower of Tom as a creator for god knows how many years now I was almost a bit scared where I would end up on the shit-dude-you-should-not-know-this-much-about-someone-you-don't-know scale but looks like I at least don't qualify as a creepy potential murder stalker. A fair few moments that went me go "Oh, right, that happened didn't it?" but almost more where I went "Pfft, it was THAT long ago.. right?"

Before 2022, I had seen exactly two videos that were in any way related to Tomska. The live action bit about the soldiers arguing while trying to keep quiet. And the "beep beep I'm a sheep" song. ...Then I somehow came across a link to his stuff earlier this month and have been binge watching the videos and realizing that I recognize several of the people who show up on the videos or are voicing characters in cartoon bits.
