    Wow! He was a law student @ the University of Ghana in the early eighties, and he returned more than twenty years ago to live and established a nice beach front business. He knows Accra and its surrounding area pretty well. Hope his business grows exponentially. Good job Nii Ayii.

    I stayed here back in 2013, whilst visiting Kokrobite on my first visit to Ghana, and have fond memories of this place. It's great to see how much he has developed the place since then.

    Great video , great interview. I never thought a place soo beautiful and less expensive existed just out of Accra .
    I am hopeful that our government will work quickly and diligently on the diaspora reform bill to give our brothers and sisters a clear path back to their rightful home. This legislation should be allowed to linger for too long, it’s the rightful thing to do . 🙌🙏

    Sankofa is a unique mini adventure and I would go back anytime.

    Okay, Nii! This is one of the most informative Vlogs, in your catalogue of "Ghana to the World" mini-documentaries. Masao Meroe is an amazing man with a visionary mindset. I am a little upset that I did not have Masao's vision, when I attended law school back in 1991. I am certainly going to patronize his lodging estate, upon my return to Ghana!

    I wished all the establishments in Ghana would have a POS service. It makes booking and ordering things so much easier. People from the diaspora are used to and prefer online bookings. It also allows each business to be able to plan and make forecasts of where the business is going or growing.

    Wow am happy to see my neighbourhood through your lens amazing, our house is close to the Deholiday beach, inbetween langma and Kokrobite beach amazing. 🏖 I miss the beach.Nii try and do video about the Armah beach or Armah Teater whare Sarkodie shot his coachella music video with Kwasi Arthur.I wish you can also do a video about Wakanda beach is 10 minutes drive from Sankofa beach very beautiful.

    It’s crazy and not a normal thing to build by the seaside. What about if tsunami occurs? I’ve seen many houses that have been wiped out, and many people being killed anytime tsunami happens. Some people may say that they know how to swim, but what about if you are far asleep and the tsunami happens?

      There's risk in everything. Those building on mainlands also have their own risk issues. What ifs are part of life but man must stay positive and move on. So far as these buildings do not breach environmental regulations I don't think we should be thinking in the negative.
      There are a lot of settlements on the same beach stretch, Sankofa is just one of many settlements. Beachfront settlements must be encouraged with the right measures being put in place to accommodate any unforseen acts of God. Let's stay positive.

      It’s mind boggling, Ghana should have acted on this legislation long time ago. We simply lack the forward thinking! What does Ghanaian parliament think the castles and forts that dotted the Ghanaian coastline were used for, l know they were not university buildings and not for grain storage for sure!
